I'm in San Francisco for a couple of nights. 25 y/o dude from NYC. What do?
PS. I can't drive. Walking/taking cabs everywhere.

Ride a tram, eat a stack of pancakes for breakfast, that kind of thing.
I took my wife's son out in Frisco recently and he loved the unique feel of it.

Hope you took him to the castro district.
But for you OP, go to Ghiradelli square. Get some ice cream and hot chocolate. Buy a cupcake from the cupcake place there I forget the name of.
Go to the wharf if able to on the weekend, or... actually, at all. They have shops inside.
Golden Gate park is a really cool place to be.
Also fun is the zoo, if you're into that, but zoos are everywhere.

Is the word "step-son" no longer in anybody's vocabulary?

New Yorker don't need to drive. Subway and bus. Yellow cab or Uber. Save on auto insurance. If New Yorkers learn to drive and need a car they use Zipcar.

What kind of stuff do you like to do? I've lived in the Bay Area my whole life and SF has a lot of cool shit.
>Coffee.
Four Barrel at the Mill on Divisadero, Equator at the Proof Lab in Mill Valley 16 minutes outside the city, Ritual in Noe Valley next to Smitten (Which is also extremely cool), Philz or Blue Bottle if you agree with the local hype. If you like Peet's their flagship store is in the Marina district and you can reach their original location in Berkeley from the city.
>Food.
Holy fucking shit. The Marina, Cow Hollow, Noe Valley, and Divisadero have you covered. Go on Yelp or Opentable and see what you like. I can vouch for Glazed, Tacolicious, Blackwood (for brunch), Nopa, and Nopatilo. Ghiradelli Square is packed with tourists but has some of the best hot chocolate ever.
>Pastries.
Susiecakes and Le Marais in the Marina. This is one of those "Good options are everywhere." situations though. B. Patisserie is supposed to be good.
>The usual tourist stuff ("Did you see the Empire State Building?").
Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower. The Painted Ladies at Alamo Square Park from Full House would be on there, but that park is being dug up for construction and looks horrible. Union Square is full of construction and barriers too. You can see the ACTUAL house from Full House at 1709 Broderick, 94115.
I would recommend that you skip Fisherman's Wharf unless you want to buy some gifts for friends or see Boudin's. It's kind of like Times Square. Tons of chain restaurants and tourists everywhere.

There's a Indonesian/Singaporean restaurant named green leaf or yellow lime or something like that, try that place out it's pretty based. They have two locations.
Tequira cancun has some GOAT burritos
Fuck gay SF.
If you meet me at the brass rail in Sunnyvale with. 4chan or trump support hat I will show you a good time, if your into stippers, beer and maybe drugs.
