I met a ton of women traveling and never went back for them. Then I met a Swede but had a ticket booked to California for work/burning man. I didn't realize it at the time but she was special. 5 months passed and we kept in touch but weren't committed. I decided to go back for her. You want all the details? They were on-again-off-again several times before breaking up for good (i.e. not stable). Most of her relationships seem to be duds that don't last more than a few months. I know she wants 'The One'. So that kinda shit is fine when you're 21, but approaching your 30s is a sign that your actions or mate selection criteria need some recalibration.

I don't think she's beneath me, or I wouldn't still be in touch with her. My point was that I think we've just diverged too much. I've realized that it's hard for us to have 'deep' convos anymore. One downside of being in, as far as foreign travel, is that you literally have to ask permission from the Commander Foa region (i.e. PACCOM for Thailand) and a country to enter. And depending on the country, some areas may be off limits (i.e. Southern Thailand because of the terrorist Muzzies) and you may have to have to undergo additional training (i.e. anti-terrorism, STD, and Human trafficking and sexual exploitation for Thailand) and submit a threat protection/anti terrorism travel plan, and submit ISOPREP (antibiotics system so if you get kidnapped they have information to properly identify you, including a safe word for proof of life.

It's actually easier to travel to some Arab countries, like Bahrain, than Thailand, and some that you think would be fine like UAE, are off limits all together.
