Got a possibility to get to Nicaragua and Honduras cheap in November. Living in Europe I've never been to the Americas, northern or middlern or southern.
Probably won't book it, but still: what's there to do in Nicaragua and Honduras? Beaches? Hiking? Culture? Volcanoes I see? Cheap shelter and food?

Honduras has murder.

I'm going to Nica in Feb. Look on wikitravel for things to do.

In Honduras they have the Mayan city of Copán, I spent 3 days there and it was great. And beautiful beaches in Islas de la Bahía (Roatán, Guanaja y Utila), with crystal clears waters and a relaxing ambience.
If you enjoy nature, you could visit La Mosquitia, but beware of malaria.

Honduras is the murder capital of the world. And the crime stats are actually higher than reported because the government tweaks them to appear less intimidating.

But they do have a lot of qts and some Mayan stuff. If you come just bring a detachable cane sword or walking stick and you should be fine.

I'm going to a festival soon (West-europe) and I'm taking a short flight there (1-2hrs).
I want to bring some MDMA just for personal use, no more that 0,5 gram.
I have never carried drugs via plane, what are my chances of getting busted? Should I just hide them in my sock and assume I'll be fine?

Any advice is appreciated

Thank you

If you want to ruin your entire life, go ahead. Otherwise forget it and procure it at the festival.

>I have never carried drugs via plane, what are my chances of getting busted?

Pretty high, almost certain actually. I'd get a refund for the tickets. You won't need them in prison.

You can't be serious. By what means would they catch me?

As an American, I've always had a tiny inferiority complex in relation to Europeans, due to media portraying Europeans as more intelligent, better read, better travelled, etc. Europeans have always seemed so exotic to me.

This is my first time abroad, and with that, a first full immersion among predominately Europeans, and I've got to say - most Europeans are some of the most stupid, vapid, mindless, garrulous, superficial, drunken, trash I've ever met.

There have certainly been exceptions, but I now understand why the word 'eurotrash' was conceived.

In comparison, Americans are so much more ingenious, humble, down to Earth, practical, and downright cool to be around than Europeans.

Once again, this doesn't apply across the board, but I will say that on the whole, I much more prefer the company of American travelers than Euros

I am from Northern Virginia and live only an hour outside of Washington D.C. but I don't really know much about it. The National Gallery of Art is my favorite place in the world and I've been to some of the other museums but I'd like to get in deeper. I want to really get to know D.C. all sides of it. I'd be willing to spend a few days there but it's easier for me to just go home after a long day in the city since I don't know anything about leaving my car there overnight.

I don't care about food and I can't dance so restaurants and clubs naturally bore me. I want something interesting, I want to meet interesting people, and I want to eventually feel like I am from the city. I hope this is not too vague for me to get some recommendations. Also I'm thinking about trying to busk in D.C. I've done it outside of the country before and I'm at least competent on my instrument but I wouldn't where to play so if anyone has a good place in mind, I might try it.

Going to London, a lot of the advice I get is too broad or overwhelming. What are the best streets for spending a few hours on?

I like the center of Seven Dials a lot. And Covent Garden in general.
What are you interested in?
>>
>>1288624

Depends what you like.

>Museums
South Kensington has the Natural History Museum, the V&A and the Science Museum all within about 100 yards of each other

>Shops
Oxford Street is a giant tourist hellhole of enormous shops, including a huge Selfridges. Covent Garden has more winding streets with smaller shops

>Cool coffee shops/street food/hipster stuff
Shoreditch has loads of that kinda stuff. I quite like Spitalfields Market for street food.

>World foods
Edgware Road has loads of Arabic restaurants and shisha bars, Tooting and Brick Lane are good for Indian food.

>Music
Brixton and Camden have lots of venues and most nights you can find a gig somewhere. Camden is also pretty good for pubs and cocktail bars, and Camden Lock is a cool (but touristy) street market to have a wonder round, with some cool food places

The national gallery is free and very good

I'm visiting a friend that's working in Las Vegas in a couple of days and we're set on going to a breakfast buffet at least once during the trip to gorge ourselves on waffles and mimosas. Only question is, which one is best? We aren't looking for anything too fancy or out of the ordinary, and I'm sure most are relatively similar, but I thought I'd ask for suggestions anyway

Thanks in advance /trv/

We liked the one at Cesar's palace. We had dinner there though. It was highest rated on Yelp, IIRC
>>
>>1288483
I think I may have went there last time I was in Vegas. A waiter was nice enough to let us take huge to-go coffee cups full of champagne with us too. Can't be too sure though. I was a little drunken mess back then

Learn how to gorge properly, you're not a true fat man, just a little boy kek.

If theres one piece of advice I constanly get about flying home its...
DON'T FLY S P I R I T

But im tight on money, so it'll have to do, and they nickel and dime the fuck out of anyone that doesn't follow regulations, so I have to maneuver carefully.

So to save money I've done the following already
>bare minimum bags
>not picking seat
>no flying insurance
>flying out on thurs and back on a Monday
So far Im going to pay around 120 roundtrip

But im going home for 10 days and i need more clothes than 1 bag.

So I came up with a retarded plan, and i wanted some opinions on how it would work
>stuff extra bag into backpack
>wear several layers of clothes
>1 jacket, 3 (thin) shirts, 2 pants, and 2 pairs of socks
>wait until boarded on plane
>go to bathroom with extra bag tucked in pants
>stuff all clothes in bag
>walk out like nothing ever happened and save 50$ on baggage fees

Would this work? Can i get through TSA like this? Where specifically would they check how many bags i have?

>im flying from chicago IL to oakland CA

>tldr: im making a plan to wear several clothes to avoid bagging fees on an airline.

Also if anyone has more money saving tips, feel free to shoot em this way.

They will tell you to check your bag if it has no label on it at the gate
>>
>>1288425
>Would this work?
Preface: I'm a European, never been to the States.
It *might* work, but I can imagine wearing lots of clothes like you could make some eyebrows go up at the TSA. Still, try it and report back. If nothing else, you'll have struck a blow for science.
>>
Why are you being a faggot? Pack as much as they allow and be fucking done with it. I fly almost exclusively low cost and follow their rules. I get to my destination on time (most of the time we're ahead). It's pleasant, cheap AF (to the point I feel guilty and buy something from the food cart) and safe.

My last flight sounds like something you're asking though:

I wore a jacket and the heaviest boots (military) during flight (it is summer, so it was out of place for both clothing items). Everything else, including a day bag, was stuffed onto my free carry on. At both airports I had everything in though. As they would check at check-in and right before boarding for the amount and size of bags. Can't sneak beyond that.

Also this was Europe.

I have been working all summer and want to treat myself to a great, cozy vacation where i can draw all day and hopefully meet some nice people.

I live in norway and want to travel to a country in europe. Im a 25 yo guy.

What country do you suggest? How much money do I need to bring? Any tips?

The answer will depend on that.

So been living in the UK and now returning back to the states. Ive been here 6 years and got a good credit rating. SHould i just borrow massive amounts by mass applying for several personal loans, as credit ratings are not international and would never have to pay it back (will never return to UK)? If so how can I get the most possible

knew someone who did this
>got a store credit card
>maxed it on buying appliances
>shipped all of the stuff to chile
>went back to chile

think he had an angle on getting around import taxes
don't know what's the best thing to buy in uk to bring back, maybe jewellery

if it's just unpaid debt you'd be allowed back into the country, it would be a civil offense not criminal
>>
>>1288354
yeah but my credit would be shot.

took out one loan, but not sure if theres a way i can apply for several all really quickly before they know about me applying to each other and then just taking the money or run

or any amounts that dont raise suspicion
