Got myself this little guy, yes, it is expansive but it is really worth the price.
With that, is there any news on selling the fast/super pack separately from the new VF-1S?
>tfw you missed out on pre-orders and will never ever get it for a decent price
feels bad, man.

I'm with you. I wish I had gotten in on these early too.

Get the upcoming DX Chougoukin instead.

isn't just a rerelease of the other macross series with some metal
>>5269403
Not at all.
>>5269450
well i see no difference
>>5269459
Maybe because you posted a Hi-Metal figure? Same metal content, just new color palette and accessories dingdong.
>>5269488
then why did you said not at all?
lol
fucking retard...
>>5269494
Because you mentioned metal content, which didn't change AT ALL. Fucking dicklicker.

They've added/improved several paint apps (grey goggles, UN Spacy and aircraft numbers on the legs, landing lights now use a metallic paint etc.) as well as making some minor mold modifications (most noticeable is a removable nose cone in order to accommodate the GBP's crotch armor).

Bandai actually did add a tiny bit more metal; the swing-out hinges that the shoulders attach to are now diecast metal. The hinges worked just fine as plastic on the older releases so it's kinda superfluous, but it does add some weight to the figure which is nice.

>metal joints
Oh man I can't wait for those to turn into floppy pieces of shit
>>5269754
It's primarily a transformation component, and everything that's connected to it is still plastic so there's no metal-on-metal joints (nor is there a great deal of weight placed on this point), so it should hold up.
One of my favorite things about the Hi-Metal R release is actually how much tighter all the joints are than the older releases. Even fresh out of the box my Hi-Metal Roy VF-1S had some loose areas, particularly the hips. The GBP VF-1J's hips on the other hand are super solid.
