Is blade trying to take a shit while using pegas as a hand rail or is he trying to use hi-coat voltekka?

He can't stand all the way up for the hi-colt voltekka, so he's either kneeling on one knee or hunched over to do that attack.

He's pretty small, about 4 or so inches tall, would work well with GI Joe or Star Wars figures. Pegas is about 8 inches tall. I could pull him out of his box in a few hours and take some pics if you'd like.

In the meantime, here's a comparison between the SPEC, the Figma, and the Armor Plus

wow thanks, I might have to get all 3 now to decide which to get first. I'll await the pictures.

that armor plus does it scale to anything? it's a bit pricey but I might have to get that one first.

The Armor Plus is about 8 inches. Originally I feared it wouldn't fit in, but considering how big Blade gets, he actually works with 6 inch figures. They're definately My favorite of the three types.

The SPEC is pretty neat and I like it despite it's flaws.

The figma is actually My least favorite of the three.
>>
>>5191441
on nice! I'm really interested on the armor plus now, but that pegas tekkaman set was what I first wanted. decisions =p cool pictures and thanks.
>>
>>5191482
Not him, but the Armor Plus, while it's the sexiest Tekkaman Blade stuff you can get, is not fun to play with at all.

Bandai went retarded with all the die-cast, so his shoulders are really floppy. The forearm armour also tends to slide off when you try to swap hands, as there's nothing actually holding it in place aside from some friction.

It's a shame, because those problems could have easily been avoided and the figure would have been pretty much perfect.
>>
>>5191487
but does he hold a pose OK? how about range of mobility?
>>
>>5191512
He does (the droopy shoulders might be an issue on some poses), and his articulation is great.

So yeah, he's an otherwise perfect figure if he didn't have those two major flaws. That, and I guess he doesn't come with his crystal (but I think that came with another release? Can't remember)

As promised here's some quick comparison pics.

Tekkaman Blade is My favorite anime of all time, so I had to get the figures. These are the ones I've gotten so far.

I initially thought the Armor Plus, at about 8 inches tall, would be too big for My collection, but really, they fit in pretty well with a Figuarts,, Marvel Legend, MOTUC, or Neca scale. It helps that Blade and Evil are supposed to be big anyway.

The SPEC was the first one I got, and I thought it scaled pretty well with GI Joes or Star Wars. In retrospect, the Figmas are probably a better match in scale.

I was pretty hyped for the Figmas, but in hand I find them pretty disappointing. The sculpt on Blade feels very 'off model', although the quality of the series does fluctuate, so maybe it was that. The Figma joints don't really lend well to Blade's posing.

I did get a Figma Black Lotus to serve as a female Tekkaman. She has her faults too but works pretty well. I thought I had a pic of Blade and Black Lotus fighting, but I guess not. So here's one of Evil about to grope Black Lotus.

Figma Evil is better than Blade, but he still has his issues. His back thrusters fall off easily and he pops off the torso ball joint all the time. I really don't like the Figmas and might sell them eventually.

I still really like the SPEC one and despite being a bit small, I think plays better with 1/18th figures. His articulation is really good and having Pegas is fun.

I can wholeheartedly recommend picking up the SPEC.
>>
>>5192553

But the Armor Plus are the best ones. Mine still have pretty tight joints and the only one I fear that falls over is Evil, but that's more due to his more 'out there' design. He actually did fall off the shelf once but survived with no damage. Tough little fucker, I am pleased to say.

And I forgot the pic. The underbody has a ton of articulation and it does get hindered by the armoring up, but it feels really cool to armor up the figures, and once you have him in hand, they are just- amazing. The Armor Plus figures are the ONES to get for a Tekkaman fan.

So, definitely get the Armor Plus, they work great as 1/12th scale figures and are beautiful display pieces. I'd recommend getting a stand for Evil, though, but honestly you should probably be using a stand with any Japanese figure.

The SPEC is also a great choice and works well with 1/18th. Having Blade and Pegas together is pretty neat, and Pegas does transform (which I never took a pic of, oh well).

The Figmas are... okay. They work decent as a 1/18th scale but I just have too many problems with the sculpt, articulation, and pop-offness. I'd say the Figmas are an easy pass.
>>
thank you very much! that was very informative. I think I'm going to get the armor plus tekkaman first I'll have to put off some masterpiece transformers I was going to get and ninja turtles, but I have enough of them for now. I've wanted a tekkaman figure for a long time so yup. thanks again.
>>
another anon here, does anyone have the model kits? i know they are old but i'm kinda curious about them
>>
Did they ever make a figure for Tekkaman Heimer (Yumi version) ?

>>5197003

No, the only Tekkaman 2 stuff made was Tekkaman Aki. The only other female Tekkaman made was Tekkaman Rapier, D-Boy's sister Miyuki.

I actually wouldn't mind Tekkatrap Dead End...
>>
>>5198204
I'm fairly certain they made a Tekkaman Sword as well.

>>5194662
This makes me curious too since they seem to be the only figures for some of the Tekkamen. It's a shame, really. Axe was my favorite

I also don't remember the Blaster forms of Blade and Evil getting other releases, though I could be wrong
>>
>>5198384
>Tekkaman Sword

Not as an Armor Plus or any other figure. I remember seeing some garage kit models of Dagger and Omega. I also remember seeing a funky garage kit figure of Blaster Blade and Evil that was like those garage kit figures for Mega Man Zero.

The only other Armor Plus figures are of the Sol Tekkaman 1 and 2.

There is also an SD version of Blade.
