I need to find a way to keep my Ingenue's legs from falling off at the thigh swivel. It's nice that these parts are removable and interchangeable, but it's pointless if her shit falls apart every time you touch her.

I feel like they're good figures, but as with the first runs of figma and revoltech, they haven't quite worked out all the design kinks.

I can confirm that the MOMOs work perfectly with the MSG weaponry, too.

Painting? No. The MoMos specifically are fully preassembled figures which come with some swappable bits. There's some prototypes in this thread however.

Honestly you probably could've gleaned this from reviews and the like if not product descriptions. Anyways there's also gonna be a load of recolors as well as alternatives, though it's unknown when some will release. Others are up for order or preorder though. They're also intended to be relatively modular, as you can see, though so far enough haven't been released yet for cool mixed combos to show up.

I actually got one of those big ass beam rifles that can turn into a normal rifle (I guess?)

It's a little big for the MoMo, but I'm also pretty sure it's a big mother fucker for the real thing too. It came with a smaller blaster pistol looking thing as well, and that's the perfect size for her, so those weapons in your picture should work just fine.

I can confirm that the koto MSG weapons work perfectly and are delightfully proper scale for the MoMos. I got the pistol sets, the rifle sets, the SMG sets, and the sniper rifle.

Also you can plug frame arms equipment onto their arms because the sockets match. I gave them pile bunkers and such.

Heavens, the paintjob looks atrocious! Goopy and thick and matte. Where is the gorgeous slightly metallic gloss paint from the promo shots? This line has really been a disappointment from the get-go, which is a shame cause I really like the designs.

About the dull paintjob, it could be possible to apply some silver paint coat to make her look like the promoshots? I hope so, because I had interest in Chocolatte and Hi-Rirdine, but I'm kind of upset about how her paintjob end up
I don't get why they change the crotch piece; lazyness, perhaps?
One way to prevent this to happen in the future is to complain in their FB page, as many have done when the fuck up head of Sophia happened

Hmmm, I'm starting to wonder what actually did happen with Chocolatte and High-Rirdine. Looking through Shimamoto's twitter with google translate, there seems to be some suggestion that the grey was the intended color. Shimamoto isn't replying though, just retweeting. People he retweets seem to be wondering if the grey was supposed to referenece the "air-force" tag these two use, can't tell from the poor translation if this is conjecture made in lack of official word. Hard to tell if they're unpainted, or if the fuck up is on OE oversaturating the photos. Either way, the lack of some of the minor paint details (also chocollate using slightly different molding I beleive? notably her crotch) and the misadvertisment is concerning.

Hmm, I' m checking Shimamoto's twitter and there is this one guy hoshimiru that have a complain about the 'dark gray' vs the sample color, and a problem with the maid cap not being stable (of course this is a poor translation using google translate)

Based of the pics, this dark gray looks more like a Metal grey than a Air-Force color, I hope that Shimamoto or the OE guys bring an official statemeng about this

I think that they do both, in this pic it is clear that they didn't paint some sections in the arms that were of different colors, and maybe the promo shots were in fact oversaturated

Yeah, I still like the design of these two, and as you said that the figure itself is fine, I'm still tempted to eventually get them and paint them, so they won't look so plain

I think the best route is complain in their FB page so they known the issue and that they fuck it up

I have ingenue and cychergoh, and while they look nice, the joints are pretty floppy, and every time I try to pose them, something falls off. Usually it's the legs. I don't know, they don't have enough friction on the peg or something, but they constantly fall off on both figures. It's frustrating trying to get them to hold a pose or even stand up properly on my desk, because they just want to ragdoll.

I'm also not a fan of soft plastic with hard joints. I can't say my experience with the momo line so far has endeared me towards buying any more of them, especially since they're doing a bait and switch on the paint jobs now, it seems.

Fucking chinks, I swear. Almost as bad as Funko.

Just got the Air Force girls in. High-Rirdine's knee broke, but I swapped her legs with Chocolate since I wanted Choco laying down anyway, so eh. Might try and dig out the glue later. I actually don't mind the grey, looks a lot better than I thought it would.

The company is Original Effect. MoMos are hardly the first thing they've put out, in any case, and the FB page is pretty slow if not outright dead. Their Twitter's way more active by comparison but you seem averse to moon.

Finally got my hi-ridine in, but i'm really starting to understand why people are so hesitant about them. There are QC problems out the wazoo. The magnets are too weak and leave the maid head dress thing lopsided, the armor on the left knee just will not stay in, slides out gravity alone, and the left hip is so loose, it can barely stay in place. The worse part though is the left knee. It arrived disconnected so i just thought it was loose, but apparently the double knee joint isn't supposed to come out, and it turns out that it just arrived broken. I can stick the knee back into place, but i took a look at it and it appears to be either missing a piece inside, or it just broke deep in there. Does anyone know or have any experience with OE customer service? I want to know if i can get a replacement leg. [nospoilers]Is this what i get for buying Chinese toys?[toyspoilers]

also, i was noticing one of the shoulders was loose, but it turns out it just wasn't made properly, so all i had to do was snap it back in place. Now i noticed that the zipper on the right leg wasn't put in properly either. Jeeze, were they all this bad? The figure looks better than i was expecting (the missing details are a bummer though), and the articulation seems really neat, but i can barely pose it without everything falling apart.

When I got Ingenue she came with a missing hand and I contacted Amico and they were able to send me a replacemnt hand
As for the other issues, some of the anons that have got these robots have encounter similar issues at ramdom, I agree with you that the OE guys needs to step up the QC of these figures, my Cyuchergoh came with the same issue of the unglued zipper and some stains in her tits
Not everyone have encounter these issues, so some of us got bad luck with the figures
