Well, how do I avoid the carpet monster? I seem to lose so many small beige-coloured parts to it.
I tried modelling over a tray but it made no difference, pieces still ping off into the nether.
Right now I wait until the kitchen is free and make kits in there... The grey tiled floor makes it easier to find parts.
How to prime vinyl, specifically hollow 1/35 AFV tyres? What primer to use?

It's a cheesy piece of shit. You'll regret it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZW-maqP9jFs
I own one and it's about what you can expect from a 60 dollar replica.
And if you don't know what to expect, it's shit. Wish they had gone with a simpler box and taken out the LED, use that money to give it a decent paint job or something.

Jesus christ what a piece of shit.
I feel bad for the shit's who were dumb enough to buy one of these things.

>>Sir,
>>As expected. the sample of the "Venom" symbiote we secured on the black market have bonded with the nanomites injected into the subject, and the nanomites have successfully replicated an artificial version of the symbiote with the subject mostly retaining control. What I have to question is whether we should continue this project in its current state, as many questions still remain about the symbiote and its behavior. Even in an artificial form, how much of its free will does it retain? Are the suppressor drugs truly controlling it, or is it simply biding its time? If we lose control over the subject, the loss of Cobra scientists and troops would be catastrophic.

For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

Gunpla/Plamo Secret Santa!
Sign ups run until December 4th. I'll try to have everyone paired up by December 6th.
Like last year, I'm going to have everyone fill out a Google form so I can collect the information easily.
Also, if you have some kits in your backlog that you are willing to part with feel free to email me a list and estimated values.
***Disclaimer***
If you want to enter with stuff in your backlog, that's fine, but please be aware I may not be able to pair you with someone who wants something you have to give away. If you cannot afford to purchase a new kit in case of that, please just hold off this year.

I've never bought any aftermarket parts before, but do you think it's worth getting some to replace the 1/100 Graze's rather disappointing looking hands?

Where to buy
>GSC Online Shop - some figmas only are available through their online shop
>Amiami - usual place for buying, to some people, shipping is a bit higher due to packaging
>Hobby Link Japan shipping is usual lower, but their prices are a bit higher, private warehaouse is available
>Hobby Search Japan - items stay in stock the longest
>Mandarake - search figma or フィグマ
>eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid bootlegs, you can spot them as 'Chinese version'
>Check the BST threads, My Figure Collection for any offer/deal

What are some laughably bad action figures? Ya know, toys that only vaguly look like the character they represent, but otherwise look fucking awful and poorly sculpted, bootlegs and offical toys both count!
Phineas & Ferb and anything by Butch Hartman fall into the "doesn't work in 3D" category
So, Hasbro thread?
Terraria Jazzwares were awful with humanoids but i kind of want this set. Look at that though-looking Wraith with legs.
Are Super Robot Chogokin worth the price? Now that I got some spending money I was thinking of getting this bad boy for Christmas.
Anyone have any experience with the series?
>>5313683
>Anyone have any experience with the series?
I own these SRCs and seven more. Other than the hip die-cast ball joints having the chance of getting loose over time, the SRC line is pretty good. If you don't change poses too often you wouldn't have any problems.
As for GGGG, I like the proportions of the Max Gokin way better, but if you like how the SRC looks go for it, it's a good figure.
>>5313717
Any specific ones (not just GGG too, big mecha fan all around) that are worth the most value?
>>5313745
Just buy the robots you like better or look cooler in your eyes. Quality is pretty good in all of them other than God Reideen.
HALP. need to recognize this dude.
Turbo Tiger
Looks like a cheap Jet Jaguar vinyl figure.
>>5313019
i love you.
How much was this when it came out and what's that price now when adjusted for inflation.
>>5311280
Do they not have Internet where you're from?
>>5311280
$100-$110 in 1985/1986 when it was available at retail.
It would be around $800-$900 if sold today.
>>5311500
Was it really only $100?
I remember seeing and having much smaller toys....more in the late 80's, but still costing more than that but getting much, much less.
Anyone know where I can still find a Manchino barbie for a decent or reasonable price?
>>5310957
Sorry
>Moschino Barbie
I mainly want to own it because of all the controversy surrounding it. I like owning controversial toys.
monster high is better
>>5310962
Nope. You're paying at least $325 for that, and the cost will only go up.
