Can we have a Pokémon thread? Someone on /vp/ told me you were great at this /toy/.
>What sort of goods do you have?
>What are you planning to buy?
>Favorite good?
/vp/ lied to you
Get prepared for the "get out /v/" that's going to start
Run while you can bruh
Or find the Nintendo general in the catalog

I have D-Arts Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, and Mewtwo. I plan on getting Lucario and Mega Chikun eventually. And I'll definitely be getting that slightly subpar Pikachu when it comes out. I really want this line to continue. I also want to get my hands on Ash and Serena at some point. I'm not too keen on Cynthia but I might pick up a Red Nendoroid at some point.
I'm trying to put together a Smash collection so I grabbed this Jigglypuff off of Amazon. It's a little big but it has 4 points of articulation! Right now there's no suitable Greninja so I'll have to do a costume or something.
Haven't bought any Pokemon stuff in a long time.
Been trying to find a 1/18 set of the ones in Smash, but that's slow and not really a big priority. Jakks made a few electronic Pokemon that were fantastic for the time, I still like the Mewtwo, Machamp, Metagross, and Electivire I got, where they actually made an effort to mix appearance, articulation, and gimmick. The Deoxys they made was also neat, but I wish it'd been Normal form instead of Defense.
Here's Batman, I think I may get the exclusive with the sniper rifle.
And here's Superman. Looks good too.

I genuinely LOL'd at this image. It looks like a chubby guy in a really shit batsuit he's made himself.
Last night my stalker quietly left a Christmas gift on my doorstep while I was watching TV. For my own safety I opened it early to make sure it wasn't something that would kill me. I took photos while doing this and thought I would share. This is /toy/ related, trust me.
Wrapped with only the kind of care a delusional woman can give.
>>5338936
Is she at least average-looking?
Oh gosh I actually happen to really like Transformers, maybe this will be something cool.
>>5338938
Yes, maybe slightly better than average depending on whether or not you're into MILFs.
Whats an anime, video game, movie or whatever you feel needs figures of or beater figures?
not that unprofitable series
>>5337912
ATLA
>>5337912
DC stuff in the 1/18th scale.
But I guess if we're talking purely franchises and not scale or company...
Movie: District 9
Videogame: Shining Force
Cartoon: Archer
Anime: Book of Bantorra
Manganime: Claymore (Seriously, this series is sooo toyetic. You can just recycle most of the parts. You'd just need different heads, boots, pauldrons and symbols)
So im thinking of getting in contact with a chinese company, that has access to the muckman molds, and bootleg the unproduced muckman figure, does anyone have connections where i could get this idea made?
I gave you the mold owner's email address in the last thread, didn't you see it?
>>5334860
No, i didnt, send it again plz.
>>5334868
Sent.
Recently I've been thinking about getting something from Sideshow Collectibles Hot Toys line. I always wanted a figure from them but since they are quite pricey I always passed.
What does /toy/ think about them? How is the quality? Is it worth it?
Face sculpts look amazing, accessories look mostly very good. Anyone has experience with Hot Toys?
Was thinking about getting pic related.
>>5333828
that face looks worse than past Black Widow figures
>>5333828
But then I did some research on how actually the body looks like and I'm a bot disappointed.
It looks kinda cheap. Especially those arm joints.
>>5333828
>hot toys price
>only 1/6th
I just bought the microman Supergirl and the base came with 2 c-clamp pieces and is missing the T-joint that would allow the pose pictured. How do I go about contacting the makers for a replacement piece? I can't seem to find Takara's US contact info.
She's like ten years old dude, forget it. You got a bum package, oh well
>>5332654
Well, I have discovered that the peg is the same size as the figma stands just shorter, so I'll just use one of them.
>>5332649
3D-Print it.
Look who has a Metroid
why you so ashy
>>5327049
I want one! Where and how much?
>>5327106
Saw them at Toys R Us, i think they should be about 20$(they're 22$ in Canada)
I heard about this in an Amiibo discussion. Basically, you bend the cardback on a high-demand toy like an Amiibo. The idea is, this makes it less desirable to scalpers and collectors who leave toys in box to sell later. Thus making hard-to-find toys easier to find for kids and regular collectors.
What do y'all think? Does anybody here bend cards?
OH BOY HERE WE GO~
>>5317710
I'm all for it. Fuck scalpers and people that speculate for profit on toys.
>>5317710
I'm an autist and save all the packaging so this really bugs me. I need my toy packaging in pristine condition, or at least as perfect as it can be after opening. I only order things online so this won't affect me, but man that's a really scummy thing to do.

Mega with paper accessories: https://mega.nz/#F!5wx3RYYC!0OQerQXFeFQzbRJDtmJBeA
I'll update the mega as I can to include anything anyone adds via the thread.
>>5161187
I'd read the fuck out of a Charlton Catlton comic.
>>5306173
*Carlton
Welp. Better get to work.
Can we have some toy gore?
that's not gore; that's body horror
>>5341803
Yes. And i demand more.
>>5341803
Whats the difference?
So /toy/, what is the best Dalek toy in your opinion?
I prefer the 5" CO, just because of the large range.
To be fair it's hard to get a Dalek wrong, pretty much anything made in the last 20 years look pretty good.
>>5318572
I quite like the black and gold Dalek. He has a fairly unique design and was my first Dalek so there's that as well.
Only down side is that he's remote control so isn't as posable as the others. (head swivel and eye stalk movement)
I might get some of the classic daleks by CO as I'm trying to move away from the modern figures.
A studded vibrator should work fine.
I'll just leave this here...
Okay
Okay?
Hope you're still not buying loot crates.
You mean GROOT CRATES, am I right?
>>5340751
You mean Meme Crates?
To be fair, this is the kind of thing their target audience would kill for.
We are clearly not their target audience.
I hope you guys weren't expecting a decent Fox Mulder figure to come out of the revival.
aaayyy lmao
Lol my god these suck
>>5339945
>Scully
>Not a ginger
I fucking hate blonde hair.
