So Bandai are doing it all over again but at a smaller scale at roughly the same original prices?

Oh what the fuck is this?
One of these days, we're going to see a dead baby in one of these threds
>>5399353
they will eventually make a dead baby toy don't worry
It's this!
I have many boxes at home (I like these , I have a camera) , what should I do with them?
Make some dioramas/backgrounds/lightboxes out of 'em.
>>5399224
how?
Hey /toy/, I was wondering if anyone could help me remember the name of this toy I had.
I believe it was made in the mid-late 90's/early 2000's. It kinda reminded me of a furby (pic related), but less animal-like and more like something along the lines of Q-Bert. The toy was a little smaller than a basketball and was lime green with hot pink lightning bolts on it. If I remember right, its main gimmick was lighting up in different colored flashing leds, (top of the head was probably clear) and it made noises, probably rumbled as well.
My memory is incredibly fuzzy on it, but I remember buying it at a thrift shop around 2005 or so if that helps.
>>5399144
I think the lights were visible from large eyes made from clear plastic, actually. They also had no proper body, kinda like a Furby.
The only thing describable as "alien furby" I can think of is a WuvLuv which is almost definitely not what you're talking about.
this?
Are there Any other Toys or models that have this aesthetic, but aren't bank-breakingly expensive?
Triple-a is amazing.. but I don't have that kind of cash.
Please none of the elitist shitposting that seems to pop up on /toy/.
Try to be civil.
Only thing close is Acid Rain, which is a skip and a jump away from 3A's WWR in 1:18 scale. They are probably the most expensive 1:18 toys on the market though(worth it however), so you won't be saving much. DESU 3A is among the most affordable companies out there today, compared to other 1/6th heavy hitters. As for Acid Rain, Vehicles are around $100(the most 3A of which is the Laurel, currently, https://www.instagram.com/p/45oP6gO9OL/) and figures are around $25.

>Triple-a
come on, man.
Shameless bump.

Maybe read OP's subject again.
None of them. All the PAK's of Harley are shit. Just get the Figuarts or one of the DC figures
I got this recently off an online canadian fig store, but comparing it to the box art and other similar figures, the position of the face to the hand feels...off.
don't know if it's a knock-off, but it's very convincing if it is, paint is very high quality and stand looks official. Even if it is fake, I don't feel that it's enough to go out and spend $90 on a another one.
What do you guys think of it?
sup /v/. I see you bought a statue and have amiibos round in the corner there. how are you enjoying your first ever visit to /toy/?
Fuck, it came out sideways, I'm trying again
>>5398611
is it really that obvious that I'm a newfag to /toy/?
Excuse the shit quality of the pic above but does anyone have any idea of what this is? I remember having it back in 2003 when I was just a little kid. The balls lit up and it spinned in the air with some weird physics and the gray thing was only used to keep them together so they wouldn't get tangled together.
>>5397515
Hmm. I had one of those and got it stuck in a tree I think. It was pretty cool. Don't remember what it's called.

Goblin King Figma when?
Goodbye David Bowie
What manufacturer do you want to make a Bowie toy, and which iteration of the artist?
threeA Earthling Union Jack coat, please
>>5396837
Figuarts since they made Freddie
>>5396837
We already have one.
>>5396840
Doubled. Would gladly buy him to pair him with Freddie for Under Pressure.
The movie Inside Out had personified emotions. So what figures would you have represent Joy, Anger, Fear, and Disgust?
Bonus points if you take pics and make your own control panel.
My life is literally anger and sadness.
My coffee maker is my control panel
>>5396227
Charlie Brown as sadness... It kinda works.
>>5396190
ugh, you're such an autist.
Are there any good Hanna Barbera figures/toys out there for a good price?
>>5395189
I believe Jazwares made some characters a few years ago, but knowing Jazwares, the quality is probably garbage.
>Wanting to remember the dark age of animation.
Anyway, a lot of statues of classic cartoon stuff, but very little toys. There's a bunch of Scooby Doo stuff since it is, for some reason, still incredibly popular, but not much else.
This is the monster set, for example. Something like thirty bucks all together, I think?
I know this will most likely not happen but I would really like to see S.H Figuarts or Figma figures of Tom & Jerry, it would be really cool putting them in different poses and such along with other characters.
What got you guys interested in toy collecting?
More specifically Marvel Legends
Toy collecting was Beast Wars. I wanted the characters I liked in the show.
As for Legends, I'm a big Ghost Rider fan so I randomly got ML3 GR on a whim and was impressed enough to keep on buying.
>>5394124
Both Legends and toy collecting in general can be traced back to Spider-Man Classics.
This was one of the first figures I've ever bought. I continued to buy Spider-Man figures and got into ToyBiz Legends near the end around wave 13 since Green Goblin was in that wave. Been collecting them ever since.
>>5394124
Spider-man Classics, specifically Man-Spider. Still have that big beautiful fucker in my display. Shit sent me on a toy collecting spree that's lasted for like 15 fucking years, mostly all in the same line.

>never noticing until now the hollow section of bumblebee's arms
OK, I'm going to be nice here, the hollowness SHOULDN'T be there but look at how big he is, a flip panel might make the fit a bit hard, and ...was there any tf's that had sliding fist in the last few years?
If bee was a tad bigger they could of fixed that, damn mp10 scaling man.
Seriously the only transformer I have that had sliding fist was g1 silverbolt, can't remember anything else.
>>5397408
Being an mp sorta justifys his displeasure, they have a bigger budget to work with, I can only see bee's size being his lame excuse.
Not buying it over the gaps in the arms alone is lame but...that's one choice, no one has the right to say who can spend money on what, we can't apologize on toy makers who fuck up, no matter how big or small.
Leave that for the fanboys who'd buy 10 and create shitty customs with
>>5397403
I wonder how those custom figure making guys feel when someone, 3rd party or official, releases the character that they were making. Like say all of the people who made their own combiner. Do you try and sell your mess of a project? Or do you keep it?
>>5397425
the hollowness being there or not being there doesnt effect how good it is as a toy to me. it's tiny as fuck and it's a good toy, who cares.
it's just a toy
it's just a toy
it's just a toy
