Bump limit on the previous thread reached and nearly archived.
I like the head of the Saurornitholestes, but I don't enjoy the paint.
I'll probably go for the Velociraptor and Balaur. Those seem like the two best looking to me.

Tsaagan and Atrociraptor don't really look that good, paint-wise. Especially the weird, sudden brown on Tsaagan.

The guy just announced that there'll be a kickstarter exclusive figure being revealed later this week, that'll be neat.
The two stretch goal figures look pretty cool. Especially the Balaur Bondoc which is apparently a bird.

What do /toy/?

What?

That's what the thread said, 10p (pounds?) a minute. Is that not the case?
>>5686118
10p is 10 pence, you goober. Not that that's not still bad but yeah.
Let's take Jesus off the dash.
Got enough on his mind.

So Titans Return is showing up in downunder land and FortMax is a bigger disappointment than we thought. Did anyone ever figure out what the Metroplex joint on the arm is for?
>almost end of May
>every fucking place that has gotten Groove has sold out within minutes
>several major sites still don't have him
Great fucking distribution you got there, Hasbro.
>>5686126
That's because Hasbro fails and is for poorfgs, while true collectors buy only from Takara and 3Ps because they can afford it. Hasbro peasants suffer to get a deluxe smart, well off people bought months ago. They will then stick that toy on their poor wal-mart shelves in their shanty apartment.

aka children
Hello /toy/
I used to browse here occasionally but not so much anymore. But as of recently I've been looking at stuff from Japan and Yahoo auctions.
I have to use a proxy for this stuff and used Buyee a few times but I'm sure there's better options out there.
On buyee at least, I'm finding I'm "not allowed" to bid/buy from certain sellers/auctions which is annoying
I figured you all would know so pls help.
tldr what're the best proxy sites like buyee I should be using?
thanks
>>5685437
>buyee
It's shit and expensive, why did you use it on the first place?
>"not allowed" to bid/buy from certain sellers/auctions
Sadly it's not the service you use but the sellers, some times, don't want to deal with middlemen or foreign customers. You can even win the auction but the seller will cancel the deal under the excuse of bad rep.
>>5685437
Forgot to mention, big in japan, proxyrabbit (mio boutique) and zenmarket are good options.
>>5686176
Seconding on Zenmarket. Much more cheaper than Buyee.
Alright mates. After 5 months of pre-order limbo... I think this is it...It's finally here...
Let's cut 'er open!!
>>5684921
I'm already expecting assloads of Naruto figures or waifu statues.
>>5684930
You think OP robs and stabs people with that scissor?
I'm new here at /toy/ and I've started collecting Marvel Legends action figures for fun. Show me your collection of Marvel Legends or any other is fine.
Also post what would you recommend to a newbie like me on collecting toys like these, I'd be much appreciated.
Pic related to the first one i bought today (Last one at Walgreens, felt pretty lucky to find it)
>>5681251
Quit while you are ahead. This is just one giant slippery slope covered in oil and WD-40 that you might not get back up from.
With that being said, you could start looking into buying things online. I had an old collection of Marvel Legends from lots that I bought up on eBay, until I moved over to Figuarts for some of the newer stuff.
>>5681251
Ignore anyone who says to buy Toy Biz releases other than BAFs. There are maybe 6 of them that are worth buying these days. Also don't buy any Hasbro releases prior to the Terrax BAF wave.
>>5681261
Don't worry, I'm feeling determined to this stuff, plus I have a good job that gives enough for me to spend on things like this
Anyone ever worked at a Toys R Us? How was it? I'm thinking of applying there for a summer job.
Don't work there, but everything always seems lax.
why does this thread get made every month, without the opening post changed at all?
>>5680175
Work at a Trader Joe's instead. Better pay, better insurance, free food, and better weed hookups dog.
I never had this guy as a kid... I think this reissue looks great, what do you guys think?
>>5676328
>110$
Looks great though
Have the original in perfect condition.
>nice to save $110
>>5676328
That looks better than what I remember..
I am searching a very dark grey or black articulated female body base for 1/6 scale (12")
All the bodies I found have the color of human skin and I don't had luck finding a 1/6 scale one with black color or any color not based in the human skin color
>>5672344
There's this in gray:
http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/artist-model-female-sideshow-collectibles-1202/
I have her and the male, but they're not very posable.
Not sure about a black one, but Sideshow Collectibles makes a gray female figure intended to be used as an artist's model.
It's not the best, but it's pretty cheap for a 1/6 figure.
>>5672388
Beat me to it!
So any other collectors out here? I know we are looked on as scum but hey we should stick together. Post any collections you have. So yeah general collection thread
>>5657237
For low tier small boxed figures it is okay, because you could feel like going through a pile in a toy store at the comfort of your own home.
May hasn't had much mayhem. When the fuck is this guy coming out?

Some online retailers had him for a very short while before he sold out.
I'm not sure if he's gonna hit that many physical stores since there's no new CW wave coming.
>>5684413
Let's take Jesus off the dash, got enough on his mine.
Groove's been out, anon.
Let's continue where we left off. Finally got a package I've been waiting for a long time and something extra to keep me busy this long weekend. If you got a package to open join me my /toy/ brothers.
Yes the movie I'm watching is trash.
>>5683220
Let's open this little nigga first. Oh shit I got me some tissue paper to pad my bed with. Thanks anon for the suggestion.
Are you actually going to post pics in a reasonable time frame this time, nignog?
>>5683220
What's it like having two different colors on your hands? Is it harder to spot poop if you get it on the top of your fingers?

was severely depressed on my purchase of strongarm
was hesitant on buying anything from the line of robots in disguise cause it looks like preschool
about the only one that was okay was grimlock (g1 color)
what happend to the generations line
even the combiner line looks weak (like an older preschool toy line)
look at the generations line prowl and the combiner prowl
