Does /toy/ know where I could get cheap plastic versions of classical pieces of art? The scale isn't important to me, but I'm looking to chop them up and use them in a sort-of post apocalyptic diorama.

I'm aware of them. They don't really fit the bill because of their points of articulation. They're also kind of expensive.
I guess I should have specified that I need them as a single piece to work with them.

Remember to take a whirl at one of these June challenges anons:
>Build a minifigure of a Star Wars character that doesn't already have one.
>Build a robot command centre. You figure out what it's supposed to be a robot or command them!
>Build something that's mostly Lego but uses some third party/off brand pieces.
>Build a brick-built wheelchair that looks better than the one in 60134.
>Build something based off of another anon's MOC.
>Fenimiminismninimism- Give your female figs something BADASS to ride around in! Bonus points for minidolls.
>Make a Fighting arena for your two most badass minifigs!
>Go to the Lego aisle at Walmart and startle someone
>Home Sweet Home - In honor of Captain Rex's AT-TE, rebuild a vehicle into a mobile home for your favorite figs.
>June Bride. Set up an impromptu wedding between your sig fig and another fig, or your waifig/husbafig and another. Bonus points for celebrity guests, full musical acts and ultimate points for treating her/him like a princess/prince with a "fairytale wedding" (fancier the better).
I have a ton of opened lego sets (star wars, indiana Jones, etc) that I want to sell. Can I make money of these sets if I have the box, manual, and all the pieces in good condition? Is there a good place to sell them?

Greetings,
Does anybody know the name of this toy, or is this some kind of generic doll?
Thank you
>>5742922
Oh man I haven't seen this guy in ages. My grandma used to have him in the house for me to play with when I was fucking tiny
>>5743104
Don't you remember a name, or the toy series it comes from?
>>5742922
I don't know. But if I had to guess I'd say it's the Dormouse from Alice in Wonderland.
Hey /toy/, what gift are you giving to your dad for Father's Day?
>>5742625
my dad doesnt like toys or novelty figure items. we're eating at a buffet or a steakhouse
I got him the NECA Weird Al for his desk at work

I meant the ratchet joints, but yeah, him coming with Ratchet is actually a bonus too. I have an almost full CW G1 lineup with him.

That was a joke

Beep boop does not compute
Hi /toy/ - I mostly only buy things I find reasonably rare or unique when it comes to toys or statues. I know that for the most part, toys/statues have a limited value, even if they're "rare."
I hate leaving them in their package, but I don't want to ruin their perceived value. Should I just unbox everything I like, or should I hold on to their mint value?
Keep in mind, I'm not a diehard collector of anything, and the room I have to display things is minimal. I should really just stop buying stuff...
Pic related is kind of an example. Got her for really cheap tonight, so I'm not sure if I should open the box or save it.
If you're fine with displaying things in the box and never actually playing the thing, go ahead and display it MISB.
If you aren't, then either resell it or open it. There's no reason to keep it MISB otherwise.
>save it
...For what exactly? For her price to go up even further so you can resell it?
There's always a limit to how much people are willing to pay for something, and there's always the small chance of something getting reissued.
Buy 2. One to keep MISB, the other to open and enjoy. That's what I sometimes do.
Spoiler: I doubt selling all the MISB stuff I've collected will amount to much $$$. But that's okay for me. The main reason I like MISB is because sometimes the packaging is fantastic. Opening a box isn't that bad, but things on card can't be opened so neatly.

Please tell me someone is making these.
>wanting Doom 4 over real Doom

>Just use a Master Chief figure, they're identical.
please keep saying this in every Doom thread, I never get tired of it
>>5742105
>please keep telling the truth, I never get sick of hearing facts
Okay. Doom 4 ripped off Master Chief's armor. It's also a shit sequel that has no business being called Doom.
Christ, the new Cyberdmeon looks like it has coral growing on its head.
what do you guys think about todd mcfarlane toys?
i'm a big spawn fan and love most of the series and the attention to detail that mcfarlane's company puts into the figures
i don't see that much discussion about his products here
>i don't see that much discussion about his products here
That's mostly because there aren't a lot of adults here and aren't allowed to watch the shows his toys are made from.
His stuff is pretty great.
>>5742080
>That's mostly because there aren't a lot of adults here and aren't allowed to watch the shows his toys are made from.
More like the fact that Spawn and other series haven't been relevant in years and there's nothing nowadays that's being made. Not to mention that there's barely anything being made, and if there is it's typically a statue.
I'd love to get modern figures that are actually well articulated. Maybe they can do a Kickstarter kind of deal like 4H does, or some shit.
There was a point where McFarlane Toys was by far the best toy company in the world, and they were a big influence on a lot of the companies that are great nowadays that have sort of carried on that old torch, but modern day McFarlane Toys stuff is all shit. So that's kind of why it doesn't get discussed much on here, because most of the discussion is about new stuff that's coming out, and most of us only liked McFarlane back in their heyday.
Why are monster hunterm figures and standees so expensive? Anyone know any sites where I can get some for a good price?
>>5741906
Mandarake is one. I managed to get the Revoltech Azure Rathalos Hunter for 5.5k and I think the regular Rathalos Hunter goes for 5k or lower.
Tigrex seems to be one of the more cheaper monsters I encountered while browsing. Revoltech also
Here's the Melynx Revoltech

And the Palico

The Nendoroids may be a little out there depending on your budget for these things.
For other 2nd hand figure sites for stuff that you missed there's Jungle and Terraformer in the Rankuten store but the stock there varies a bit but you never know.
there's a guy selling one in the BST
it's the one rathalos armour that turns into a rathalos
I have a Guildmarm statue I want to sell

Why can't the movieverse do anything right? If it took twenty years and a line reboot to get Beast Wars Masterpieces, how long until this fucker gets some love? Was it worth getting Starsaber instead?
Last thread >>5737948

speaking of that fucker, does anyone know where I can get new rubber tires for mine? My Optimus Prime from that set had some shitty quality tires and they rotted the fuck off within a year. Mine has been without tires for 14 or so years now... I'd like some new ones, plastic, rubber, whatever really.
>>5740018
Thanx!
If you wanted, I could switch my request for just 1 character, but it's up to you.
>>5740015
>how long until this fucker gets some love? Was it worth getting Starsaber instead?
The same designer who handled the Fanvote MP designed that Omega Prime figure in the first place. Besides, its already near perfect, and the toy looks way cooler than the animé model they'd try and base it off of.
I require figures of ayyyyys. Give me your best!
my bro had an inflatable one like this. it was 3 feet tall, lots of fun

The S shape is always good advice though. The basic idea is that straight lines tend to look stiff.
