You should post the item. There are plenty of knockoffs on taobao. If it's a licensed product and it's unusually cheap, knock off but sometimes chinese toy stores have unsold stock of some rare stuff that goes for under NA or JP aftermarket prices. Pictures are rarely honest, I wouldn't trust them.

If you want to order from taobao you need a middle man, which can get expensive but I've never lost a package in the mail since China's EMS seems as good as Japan's.

Keep in mind that even if it isn't a bootleg, there are factory rejects or store returned copies.

Also shipping from China is actually pricey, more than from Japan.

eBay averages this fig $60-80 loose, anywhere from $100-160 MISB
Taobao's listing has (looks like two in stock), 48 bucks CAD

Also potential red flag, the images on the listing all have the same watermark bottom right side, but it's clear the watermark was crudely covered up
I don't know if they just are re-using someone else's photos or what

For the price I'm considering doing it anyways, was asking about the site's customer service in case I have to follow up with anything

Mezco appears to be a one-and-done. They released several variants of Dredd and the Lawmaster and appear to be leaving it there.

ThreeA are going balls-deep into classic 2000AD by the looks of things.

I like my Mezco Dredds. The B+W convention exclusive is probably my favourite. Your mileage will vary based on whether you want a very old-school early 80's Dredd or a more modern 90's/2000's look, if you want the former go ThreeA. I don't think ThreeA's Dredd is very good, personally - a lot of their other 2000AD figures either released or in the pipeline really overshadow it and it's missing the bootknife which is terrible. Their 1/6 versions look amazing, however.

I'm reading through the comics right now, so I'll have to see which look and stories I prefer. I'm learning towards Mezco's dredd, especially for the bike, but my autism won't like it if I get a Mezco Dredd and 3a everything else.

Yes sir, I deal with bugs on a daily basis and is why I stopped collecting toys and especially plushes. I'm from the Bay Area and I once threw out over $300 dollars worth of toys and plushies, I definitely had some rare shit in there like the E 012 Gamma Resaurus figure CIB and I just acted on a whim to try to get rid of these bed bugs. I absolutely regret it because years later and these fuckers are still around, exterminator after exterminator no matter what I do they come right back. I think it's a building thing, not just my apartment. Fuck the Bay Area do not collect if you live here. Anyone else got stories? I just wanted to get this shit off my chest.

So I cut out a square in the bottom of Repugnus' chest cavity so that the TM could sit the way Fangry's sits, but it turns out Repugnus' is just too much of a fathead to do that. Basically every other TM fits in fine the new way.

Where's the pics of Hot Rod and the Legends already.

I don't really care about scale at all. I put 1/12 figures next to 1/18 and 1/10. I'm not setting up a diorama and pretending the characters are hanging out together, they're just there for me to look at.

I only collect 1/12, specifically Japanese Revo-figma-arts style stuff. However, I'm fine with mixing the smaller Japanese ones with larger American figures like Marvel Legends or even as far as Mythic Legions. As long as it fits close enough I'll go with it.

I play with my figures so it does feel stupid having a 1/8 girl interacting with a 1/12 guy. I try to only collect 1/12-ish, but unfortunately there's characters you can only get in certain scales, and that's been the case for a couple of my favorites that I got. Don't really care about "true" 1/12, I'm happy as long as the proportion differences aren't super obvious like my initial example.

Kunoichi have been replaced by weapon weilding schoolgirls in pop culture.

Even TMNT and Street Fighter have succumbed to the trend.

Your best bet is SOTA's Ibuki (bit out of scale and iffy joints). If you don't mind a modern take in tacticool suits, the recent Netflix Elektra is alright.

Dunno if she's a good figure, but the Kitana figure from mortal kombat was clearanced and still warming for a while. She should be cheap.

You've got the Hovertank coming so even if wave 1 ends up stacking up in the stores the tank will be a good addition to the collection.

It's annoying with the repacks but that's hasbro.
I picked up a Darth Maul TBS figure and got it out, his arm fell off. Did I get a bootleg?
It seems to be legitimate, has the recyclable logo on the packaging.

I don't mind TVC repacks, the line is for collectors and it would be weird if the main characters of the new movies don't get releases in that nice package, they could have spaced it out a little.

I think all bootleg Black Series have a barcode with the words Sandtrooper above it.
I noticed that sometime in the last year or two a bunch of retailers on Amazon and some actionfigure sites restocked Maul. In the same way a couple months ago there surfaced a bunch of Han Solo Stormtroopers and old box Chewbaccas. I always wonder if these are bootlegs since if it is a lost shipment, there weren't solid cases for these figures.

One of the things that the fwoosh really pushed with line, was that they were toy collectors, and they were going to avoid the stuff that annoys us about action figures.

Fumetso doesn't come with any extra hands. He has two weapon holding hands, and thats it.

Not off to a good start.

Paint is about on part with a pre 2016 marvel legendds. Its a little thick, and the applications are a little sloppy here and there, but for the most part, it passes the 12 inch test.
