Have played Palladium's version for several years. Started running Savage World's conversion a couple weeks ago. It's a smoother play style, but I wouldn't called it "way better". Just a different system. It's all dice rolling and results at the end of the day. Just depends on which dice you want to roll and how you add them together to arrive at said results. Preference.

Palladium markets the Ultimate Edition as stand alone, but its bereft of content with horrible organization. There are literally spells listed for classes not found in that book.

Even that book has some problems. Palladiums biggest problem is that it really needs a technical writer and an editor, not that Kevin will take no for an answer.

If I remember correctly, the original book left out major things like what a d-bee is and others that had to be cleared up in source book 1.

Yeah, the Palladium 2nd editon system does need re-working. We used to use Gurps, the GDW system or D6(lots of fun for Rifts) when we played. I did like 1st edition Palladium Fantasy though.

I'm interested in the Night's Black Angels, and especially in the short setting idea books like Las Vegas: 1968 or Moon Dust Men I'm thinking about starting a UFO conspiracy campaign set in 1960's, inspired by Xcom: Bureau and Dark Skies tv series.

I couldn't find anything, but my google fu is rather weak. So I figured I'd ask here.
