Ah! Would anybody be interested playing this one?

It's a lot of work so I'm not going to bother unless people are interested in playing it.

I keep toying with the idea of scanning all of the comics and uploading the whole thing in high quality so you could actually get into the RPG and the setting. Never did because the guy is hurting for money and getting nothing but shit from the furry fandom, and I kind of respect him... seems too cruel to upload his life's work. Not sure if anybody even gives a fuck either. Guess I should post this in /co/ instead, but I thought /tg/ might be interested with content for the RPG at least because this caliber of science fiction is hard to come by.

I'm like a day late on answering but - reasons to play 13th Age instead of DnD5e:

It's actually gridless, instead of 5e's "it's gridless, pinky promise, we swear, never mind we still use 5ft increments and reach rules"
It's more balanced.
It's more 'tactical' than 5e, taking some 4e influence.
All a class's spells/powers are organised with that class, rather than at the back of the book.
The book is 'all in one' rather than three corebooks.
Instead of skills, it has freeform backgrounds, e.g. to make a character with the skills of Batman all you need is 'Costumed Stealthy Vigilante +3' and perhaps 'Greatest Detective +2', which you then add to your stats.
And since the game encourages reskinning, that Vigilante is probably a Paladin in terms of their class.
And finally, it has a free SRD that contains the entire corebook, minus the setting specific stuff: http://www.13thagesrd.com

I've been having trouble finding one that works for mega links. I think windows 7 is finally not being supported as much as it used to.

Mega links are pretty fickle. In order to to some of the pages by clicking on them you need to post the page the link is on, go to the site, and then click the link. So pasting links like >>44184363 with out http:// in front won't show up on a lot of my browsers.

Chrome, Opera, and Explorer don't like mega links and won't show up no matter how you paste them. Only firefox seems ok with pasting mega///links but it hates downloading files, as they simply won't start downloading at all. If chrome has a mega link with the http:// in front it works fine but the mega///links go straight to the google search engine. Chrome is the only browser I can use that will always download a file if I can get onto the webpage, I'm only really having problems with mega///links.

I wonder if I'm going to have to update my OS soon. I really hope not. windows 8 and windows 10 seem to get shit on a lot.

I love how these little systems have really unusual mechanics and how people are willing to really RP balls to the wall if they know it's just for a couple hours, no commitment.

No, it's not complete and the scan quality is terrible. It's about half the comic, and it's missing a few inbetween, and missing a lot of the extra content for material that wasn't in the comic itself.
