King of Tokyo is pretty fun, and it's simple enough that you can play with children and normals. It's basically combat Yahtzee.

Haven't played it, but it seems to be just KoT with one or maybe two additional mechanics.
Oh, and if you get KoT, you should get the Power Up! expansion that actually makes the monsters different.

Rampage is an excellent giant monster game. Many of your actions involve doing physical activities on the board or with the sizeable wooden monster pieces. As things go flying around during the monster rumble, the simple-to-set-up city buildings crumble around you, scattering the little people that were inside of them.
