Anyone here play it? It seems like a great system although it doesn't get the attention it deserves on /tg/.
Do you use Glorantha or your own settings?
Planning on running a game set in a slowly dying world, drawing from classical mythology and post Bronze Age collapse history.

Oh yeah, don't bother with this for priming miniatures. it's trash and a meme.
If you absolutely must brush on primer, get a bottle of Badger Stynylrez (airbrush primer that can be brushed on manually, and has nice self-levelling properties) or just use automotive primers (Halfords Matt Black and Grey (500ml) is the best in the UK or get Krylon if in the US).
An empty wip thread? Don't mind if I do!
Swapped the legs on this captain because he was a turbomanlet.
What an absolute nightmare it was. I'll prep the miniature when I paint it, I know it's shitty now.
1097 God ForsakenBasically Odin needed Durkon to go and meet Roy to help him on his quest to stop the Snarl. It wasn't pointless!

Still too many words.
Opinions?
Seems interesting.
Dunno if it's worth money though.
Apparently tablet support is garbage.
>>55304340
Only reason why it's used is that everything else is worse.
It's the same UI as it had in beta and has the same UI problems. The character sheets suck dick, and I have lost a couple due to data loss.
All in all, 5/10 it's okay.

Do you think players would enjoy a game where all of their characters were clones?
>>55303453
No because they want to be speshul snowflakes
>>55303453
Yes
>>55303470
Republic clones used to be different from one to another.
Some of them even went rogue and betrayed the republic.
>>55303453
Could be a nice twist in Paranoia.
I've been DMing 5e with a group of friends for a while and it's all been fun except for one thing... Armor Class. I don't like that my wizard keeps missing his spells due to shitty rolls or that enemies eat our warrior due to lucky rolls. Is there a way I can play around Armor Class without deleting it but making it work differently?
I would like it to work under thresholds or something similar. Where under certain rolls, the attack completely misses, over that but below the AC the attack hits but its damage is reduced and everything over the AC is a clean hit.
I want to hear your opinion on AC, damage reduction mechanics on your 5E games or tips on how can I change this (if at all) without breaking the game.
>>55302640
>5e
There's your problem, sport
If your issue is that you don't like luck, your best move is probably just to reduce the ACs of the enemies and increase the ACs of the party.
5e has an innate mechanic for that called Advantage/Disadvantage that sounds like you should use more often and more generously.
>>55302657
>a contrartian crawls out of the woodwork
Imagine you're a member of a 'problem-solver guild' (i.e. mercenaries) in a big city. What does your character do during downtime?
Bonus points if it's working towards a long-term goal!

Whores
Between jobs? Train, probably.
Ask the DM about how much time I'd need to devote to increase my accuracy of attacks or my damage. Practice in my free time and keep track of how much time I spent practicing.
If the DM won't allow bonuses for lots of training, then maybe learning new skills. Or new languages. Maybe trying to socialize and make new friends in the city. That way the DM could increase the rate of jobs or quality of jobs by having it be known that we're getting contracts from people we met at parties or balls.
If there's a living quarters we own, maybe see about improving that?
Could always seek out traders and see if cool shit comes around, never know when someone rolls up with +1 weapons.
If I'm a spellcaster I'll spend cash and time on learning new spells and such.
Take smaller jobs on the side, clean and prep gear, hit on maidens?

Tell me about your last level up, /pfg/. What cool stuff did you get? What cool thing are you one step closer to? How complicated are your level ups? How long did it take you? What are you still looking forward to?In hindsight, my last level was pretty lame, it was just a barrel of +1's. But, Mixed Combat soon, fellow Stalker!

Why does WH 40K sets and miniatures costs way more money than AoS sets/miniatures?
>>55301126
Pardon my english
Because they know their fans still buy everything. It's really that simple.
>>55301126
They're not more expensive. 40k isn't particularly expensive in itself. Provide some examples.
