As you are all very likely aware of. Our mighty Strike Cruiser, the "Eagle's Fury", stands near motionless. The machine spirit of it's Warp drive having finally 'bit the bullet', as it were; And to make matters worse, our Tech-priest Enginseers tell me that we lack the necessary parts to fully repair it!

But fear not, for the Emperor has seen fit to provide us a way out of this conundrum! For a short distance away, lies a space hulk! From it, our Enginseers, believe they can scavange the necessary parts to repair our Warp Drive!

So, while we await our ship to prepare boarding tubes. I am calling for a surprise Field Kit Inspection! So present arms, and equipment for Inspection!

Should I say anything? I probably shouldn't be so sensitive, but it really seems like my GM is really putting a focus on vilifying the religion, and to take exaggerations of its past misdeeds and soapbox about them.

I have a feeling that it will blow up into a big argument, but I really just wished he'd keep his personal feelings toward organized religion out of our games.

Why are you still using dice and other RNG to determine the outcomes of your games, /tg/?
I'll list the reasons you shouldn't
>They don't let you properly play your concept, either by rolling stats too high or too low in the wrong places
>Le ebin nat1/nat20 maymay
>Succeeding when you shouldn't
>Not succeeding at the simplest shit because you rolled terribly and getting surpassed by even a random NPC even if it's in shit within your wheelhouse
>Damage goes from 1-4 or at best 1-12, too big of a spread

Are there any good simple fantasy RPGs that AREN'T a clone of OD&D? I keep checking out different recommended games for an old-school feel and EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. is minor variations to the same fucking ruleset.

Hey there, /tg/

It's come to my attention that someone went through the trouble of creating a small system for a Symphogear game, and I wanted to run it because I have no control over my hype.

What I can tell you is that the game will be fixed level progression, it will start at level 1, but there may or may not be an early game training montage to jump a few levels. It will be set in the US, after the events of the third season. The players will be part of the special task force F.O.R.T.E., or the Federal Organization for Relic Tracking and Engineering. Players will be required to include a character song to be played during combat, preferably off-vocal.

Players will be allowed up to two rerolls total when determining stats, and alchemists are off limits.

I know the system as written is a mess. If there's anything you're unclear on, please ask and I'll be more than happy to go over it with you.
