To be honest m8 your kind of evil campaign seems indulgently evil for the sake of being evil, which hasn't been my experience in the two evil-centric (we still had at least one neutral player) I've been a part of.

I think your three points as identified can easily come into play in a non-evil campaign too, depending on the focus. It's much more about the style of the game than the evilness of it.

We got teased death guard months before they came out, and we still have no terminators or mortarion even on the horizon, despite seeing them in the video. It's not unreasonable to assume it'll be months more before we get more spoopies.
Also, some death units (the hero+big mount kit for example) are listed as being temporarily out of stock, while the black knight/hexwraith and grave guard kits are apparently "sold out online". Do you anons think this is just a fuckup with them reboxing, rebasing or running out of stock of them, or do you think our best models have been tomb kang'd?

No. I actually got kicked out of a game once because I wasn't conforming to the pillage, murder, rape format of the game and wouldn't turn a blind-eye to those who committed such atrocities.

I'll never understand the "we must level" mentality. I'd rather have interesting scenarios and interactions occur.

I'm honestly hoping that their "minimal conversion" thing is a load of bullshit because they've gone and completely overhauled the mechanics so conversion is a long, arduous process that doesn't really work, but ultimately you're better off for it because you're finally free from Pathfinder.

How about: as large as it needs to be for your game.

Practically speaking, I'd avoid having the tubes go between cities. Repairing a busted tube can be a pain in the ass if it's miles and miles away and can be insecure; telegrams and couriers are better suited for these messages.

I don't see why pneumatic tube systems couldn't go between cities in the context of a steampunk setting. Remember too that whole pneumatic transit systems have been designed:

So what are some interesting resource types in TCGs?

We've got dedicated cards, alla Magic's land and Pokemon's energy.
There's the X number of plays a turn, like Yugioh.
Energy counters, like Magi-Nation or Hearthstone.
Japanese games like using any card as an energy type.

Is there anything else, not including the hybrids of these systems?

They'd find ties between smugglers in other realms and rival noble families. Depending of the party action it could provide with means to continue the smuggling to their sworn lord benefits at the risk of being discovered or blow the whistle and gain reputation points and a small monetary gain.

Once they've found the location of the blackmarket and those behind the foundation they could either counsel the lord to take the merchants various possessions for himself at the risk of earning the ire of the rest of the merchant caste but in doing so will gain reputation with the other nobles or grant the disgraced merchants holdings to newer, loyal to him merchants. Doing so would bring the merchants and the peasant further into the fold of the house but will be felt like a weakness by the nobles.
