Hey /tg/ I need your advice
So I'm working on my skirmish game [SS vs KKK] and I can't decide what to name the two opposed resources that represent the two factions.
My first and boringest notion was to go with [spirit] for the kkk and [mechanik] for the ss.
Basicly, the ss will generate the[?] and handle technology in form of classic wwII weaponry while the kkk wields magic and mystical beasts while generating the[??].

I am being the DM for the first time and in the first session all the players instead of grabbing the hook I gave them, went a burnt down two shops. One that sold cloth, and the other the blacksmith. The original hook was your standard first mission, a noble wants a prized family heirloom back and is willing to pay top dollar for it. Is there something im doing wrong? How can I get the players interested? They are all evil alignment.

Find out what their characters are interested in, then tie the prepared material to that.
Maybe the noble is designing a new flamethrower device, but needs x first.
If they are just intentionally going in the opposite direction of anything you present, that is contrarian Crap Player behavior and y'all need to talk about it.
LIkewise, expecting a full party of evil doers to take an honest job because "the pay is good" is naive.

There you go. In your story, they're the bad guys. Quickly cook up a standard party of murder hobos who are out to get your players for burning down shops.

How would you feel about a medieval fantasy setting where paper money was common amongst the upper classes? Even with trading bars of precious metals, large transactions seem impractical in your standard medieval fantasy kitchen sink. Would it rustle your jimmies to see a noble buying an expensive dress with a promissory note?

Also, that largely would have to mean two things.
One, the banks are strong. Two, they have printing presses. Take both of these things into account because they're both important.

Aside from their default adventurer outfit, I do enjoy fluffing characters when they're in casual or fancy clothes for one event or another.
I must confess I do love playing noblewomen, going around being badasses in various forms of floofy dress.

What do you mean "What is the Plan?" There is only one way to do war. Is this thing hard to understand, or am I just retarded? I mean understand in the sense of being able to play it properly.
I've read the thing twice, but it's so generalized it just feels like I know a bunch of rules with no real cohesion to actually play a session. Sure I could wing it, and I'm all for the GM being above the rulebook, but at that point I'd be playing a freeform session with Runequest rules, rather than Runequest.
