Would such a character be unplayable in superhero campaigns?
No, but it depends on the system.
Anything with an hp track or similar combat focus it'd be untenable.
If it's narrative or scene focused you'd be fine.

>All attacks require a d20 willpower check
>On anything besides a nat 20 he takes that much temporary damage.
His powers pretty good if generic now that hes learned how to use it without casting from hit points.
/tg/ I have a bit of /g/-ish question for you.
Do you ever record and edit lines for your campaigns? I plan on having a speech in an old dead made up gibberish language soon that I plan on playing through speakers. However, I need to to be booming and echoing. Throw it through the audio engineering blender.
Do you know of any good mixing software that can help me with this? I know Audacity is free but how good can it edit stuff?
Voice acting general, I guess.
Shameful bump.

>I know Audacity is free but how good can it edit stuff?
Well Jeeze, Wilbur, you'd think if it were free you could download it and take a look at it for yourself
>>54105457
Maybe he asked if it was free as in freedom and not as in Beer.
So maybe he asked if it was a software that respect his freedoms
Heya Gamemasters,
What order should I play the Baldur's Gate series?
>BG1
>BG:Tales of Sword Coast
>BG:Siege of Dragonspear
>BG: Black Pits
>BG: Black Pits 2
>BG2: SoA
>BG2: ToB
Is this alright with regards to level caps?
>>54104340
You could skip Dragonspear entirely, it's awful.
>>54104340
Tbh none of the BGs is any good, play Icewind Dale or Planescape Torment instead
>>54104340
You can easily skip Dragonspear and Black Pits, and Tales of the Sword Coast isn't that great or necessary either. Other than that, looks fine enough.
Random Magic Effects Thread.
I'll start first:
"Any sentient being touched by the magical effect suddenly experiences D10 hours of luck. Situations fortuitously happen in their favour (eg: "I wish we had a map through this forest" - they stumble across a corpse with a map kept in a scroll case). All rolls are at advantage. At the end of the D10 period, they experience 2x the original D10 period of bad luck, have disadvantage to all rolls, and everyone in the same room or 50ft area experiences varying degrees of bad luck.

Flip this coin and gravity is reversed.
Drink this potion and all mushroom within a mile grow twice as large.
Drink this ale and you become immune to damage for as long as you (the player) can stay buzzed.
This dog's bark acts as a command spell.
Two magnets that when placed onto things pull those things towards each other.
A magical CD player that makes you immune to any sort of sound effect (control spells, etc.)
These are just magic items now but whatever...
This dragon breathes paper. Huge amounts of paper-cut damage.
A recliner that when you sit in it time condenses for you. Roll a d10. Say you roll a 5, for every minute you rest in the chair it is actually 5 minutes.

>This dragon breathes paper. Huge amounts of paper-cut damage.
NO
NOOO
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Anyone plays it?
I'm a 5 kyu - 4 kyu trying to come back
would be fun to play some games on OGS
>Visibly worn from excessive use
This is how you show love for a game or game piece
>>54103718
By not properly caring for it?
>>54103734
You see, a game is like a woman.
>>54103761
Tell me this is from a lesdom spanking video.
Not sure if this is the right board to ask. But do any of you know how to play go? I would like to learn and am wondering if there's a really good online site or something

My captcha just said "nature knight".
What games let me be that?
Many games if you get creative.
>>54103514
D&d 5e has a fey/nature themed paladin. Its actually pretty damn powerful.
>>54103514
You could be a space druid in Starfinder by being part of the Xenowardens. I'm sure they employ the use of heavily armed and armored types who are equally as fanatical about making sure THE MAN doesn't ruin a planet solely for the sake of profit.

Whatever edition comes with four friends with 6+ hours to spend on a board game.
>>54103148
I've heard combining both editions of 1940 into one big board is supposed to be the ultimate edition, but I've never played so I'm not sure.
I going to participated in some hour of devastation drafts soon. could you give me some tips/ recomendations ?
also Mtg DRAFT General
hello, i was thinking about hosting an ss13 server running tgstation source, hosted somewhere in central europe. i like tgstation a lot, but it's hard for me to play because of the high ping. are there any EU players that would be interested in playing?
>>54102534
Wasn't the latest /tg/ branch mostly /d20/ and closed source after the others mostly went to /vg/?
>>54102675
no idea, the code i downloaded seemed up to date
Are there any miniature based game for this series? Though that Alba Create models work well enough to pull it off
>>54102529
There are some Japanese boardgames simulating LoGH battles that I've seen on Boardgamegeek.
I've thought about adapting a napoleonic rules set to run LoGH battles using the various 1/12000 scale ships I've accumulated over the years.
>>54102529
Problem is, you buy all those boxes for a shitload of money and you won't even have nearly enough standard battleships of either side to play a medium sized battle.
Of course, if you did, you could have each ship represent a fleet but then you might as well just use paper tokens anyway.
This guy has a couple of smaller metal models though. http://z4miniatures.blogspot.no/2007/12/online-shop.html
So, now I've finally looked stuff up and found out that the 3rd ed book is live. Anyone got any .pdf links?
>>54102003
Well you could try /r/
Or instead of being retarded and making a new thread to beg for them you could ask in the Unknown Armies thread.
So, i want to get into 30k (because fuck if those MKIII Marines aren't awesome). Any advice? I'm looking for a gun line, preferably with more infantry units than tanks. I would go with say, Salamanders or Iron Warriors, but i prefer a paint scheme more akin to the Dark Angels.
>2017
>people wanting to buy MORE marinelets
>>54101712
>but i prefer a paint scheme more akin to the Dark Angels
Go with Iron Hands. They have black armour like the DA, favour shooting over melee, and their upgrade kits are all mk.III
>>54101759
Will do. You got any ideas on what specific units to take?
Fudge

Wasn't a bad system for it's time. There was even a mechanic where you could generate random results off your analog wristwatch if you wanted to play while hiking or something. Had its problems like all systems. That's about it.
