Angsting about what it means to be human is pointless. Limiting ourselves to our modern conceptions of humanity is a crime against how far we've come and how much further we can go. The entire concept of humanity is that we've mastered more than the previous generation. Bronze, iron, steel, steam, electricity, solar, wind, nuclear. Becoming better than we were in the past, more knowledgeable and more powerful, is what it means to be Humanity. Using Humanity as a shield to cower behind because you can't stand the fact that we can still become better than we are now is a disgrace to every single human who has ever lived.

I don't have coworkers. Due to some mental issues I couldn't manage to live on my own (yes I tried, ended up with heavy detachment anxiety and had to go back home at a different city). I've been in therapy since and I think I've been getting much better.

The people I know are from a dojo I go to, and I'm not really close to anyone there. I seldom see them once or twice a week, and don't hold constant contact with anyone.

Ideally I'd like to keep the space theme as close to reality as possible - visiting alternate realms of existence with wizards is great, but it basically removes every other splat as a contender.

No specifically. Mage, Werewolf, Vampire and the like are seperate cronicles but you could technically combine them and I believe Demon actually bridges them all in a very loose way.

When in doubt, make it up in whatever way you like and look to the splats for stuff if you're worried about being canon.

I see plenty of ways to counter this. Most of them can be reduced to "playing better music louder".

I'm in games using the LotW system for a pulp sci-fi setting and for Dungeons the Dragonings setting. If you've gone through the trouble of learning the system, tweaking it to fit is honestly pretty easy.

You can't really overstate just how much of a bitch it is to learn, though.

Its not completely up to date with the code I have. I'm interested in new content (your weird interests), spelling/typing mistakes, and balance issues. The big remaining project I was looking at before posting the new version is a rewrite of Strange World, expanded by its various flavors, I could use help figuring out what that should look like.

I don't play with anyone I trust enough to not accidentally spill a drink all over that, myself included.

We're good chaps, but manual dexterity and agility are not high priorities.

It's nice but honestly when I DM I prefer to just have a big whiteboard on the table over pregenerated maps. I find it quite time-consuming to put that stuff together whereas with a whiteboard I can just draw out each room in a basic way for the players as they go through. Even when I play online I prefer mapless to using map software if I'm honest.

tl;dr - if I made computer maps anyway I would find this useful, but I don't do that
