Scourge Eagles
Progenitor: Unknown; Chapter Established during the 21st Founding
Color Scheme: Charadon Granite/Chainmail
Home World: Saer'rio

Fleet Based, favor Assault Troops and Bikes for Infiltration and Hit and Run attacks when planetside (Standard Issue Kit also includes Camo Cloaks for full Battle Brothers, some higher ranking Astartes even have camoline robes over their armor.), otherwise prefer various skimmers and fliers, although they truly shine most in fleet combat and boarding actions. The Scourge Eagles fortress monastery is a moon sized space hulk trapped in orbit of their home world.

A mutation is present within their Chapter, the geneseed slowly saps away the warp presence of these Astartes causing them to eventually causing some marines to become Blanks. This has led to numerous alterations in Chapter composure leading to maintaining two extra Scout Companies, nearly six times the normal number of Apothecaries and four times the number of Chaplains as many of those Astartes seek the Emperors Peace once this occurs for the sake of preventing the spread of the mutation and in an effort to prevent this information from becoming known to the Inquisition, whom these Astartes have a history of distaste towards.

It is not known what has caused this mutation and many brother who eventually lose their presence are required to wear special "dampening fields" as to not disrupt the precious few Librarians within the Chapter or risk discover from any allied psykers, spawning rumors that these souls join the Legion of the Damned; possibly explaining the high number of encounters the Scourge Eagles have had with these apparitions and why some of these Legionnaires have turned weapons on those who wear dampening devices.

As of the Ultima Founding, the Scourge Eagles have redoubled efforts to recover lost and forgotten information regarding the origins of their gene-seed before taking on Primaris reinforcements.

Great, unique chapter comp, history, and methodology without the /tg/ special (i.e. they're a loyalist splinter of [anon's favorite traitor legion]).

Emblem is great too, I'd easily mistake it for a GW official sigil.

As far as the battlecry goes, I like it, but even in dog Latin, it should be "Per Imperium". Unless you meant it to be "to the Imperium" and not "for the Imperium".

Good read into the Latin, but you read it correctly. A part of their home worlds culture is giving themselves to a cause rather than acting in service. Ad Imperium is the "amen" of their Chapter Prayers, giving themselves to the Imperium in body and soul.

Song of Swords is a a tabletop RPG centered around realistic medieval fightan' with a ludicrous variety of weapons and fighting styles, centered around a dice pool system. It's currently in beta, and can be used for both fantasy and historical games. The Kickstarter was nearly 300% funded, and we're on the fast track to kicking ass baby.

Call of the Void: Ballad of the Laser Whales is a pulpy sci-fi tabletop RPG about fighting space-nazis and hunting giant whales with harpoons made out of the moon. Its combat system is more modern, based in the early 20th century, but can probably handle combat up to the present day.

MEGA folder containing current version of the game and all supplementary materials.
Note that the latest version of the game is v1.3. The next update will probably be called v1.4.

40k will obviously never end but it kind of sucks because we all know the imperium would be the only faction to win. They would never let a faction like Tyranids, Necroms or Chaos eventually conquer the whole galaxy

How are skeletons a threat? Even assuming they can walk around, they lack the musculature that make humans strong. Any adult man would easily be able to kill his weight in skeletons.

my 5e campaign is starting tomorrow and i still dont have all the major boss's figured out? im gonna try my hand at improvising a good chunk of the content but i need this figured out.

The obvious reference I can offer is they Egyptian myth of Set chopping Horus up and spreading him over the land; the obvious trick is to play that up as the explanation the evil god and anyone who wants it remade offers to the PCs as to what's going on (Evil god hated good god, cut him apart, now they want to keep him from reforming in order to SMITE EVIL. And those paladins are misguided by their allies.)

My question is, "Are the monsters themed around their respective god-giblets?"

I don't remember specifics of some of those cards effects, but isn't the play involve gusting to the Venusaur, and super energy removing it then waiting for them to deck out? You can use Fuji to prevent yourself from decking out.

Festivals, tournaments, and policing the Imperium. Any chapter that'd go rogue because of a lack of enemies was never truly loyal to the Imperium in the first place.

At the start of the Beast series of novels (set 1500 years after the Heresy), the Imperium faces no serious threats and problems with gene seed mean that many believed the space marines would become obsolete and/or die off.

Have a couple hours. Going to be thinking aloud about my next campaign setting. Questions and advice welcomed. I'll also give me humble opinion on anyone else's ideas.

I judge which minis to get by how cheaply they can be found online in vast quantities. I collect the following:

Hammerer
Guard of Mithral Hall
Howling Orc, Orc Mauler, any other cool-looking orcs that you can get for $2 or less
Dekanter Goblin
Carnage Demon
Ibixian
Abyssal Skulker
Medusa Archer
whatever else happens to be crazy cheap on ebay or Troll & Toad.

If you want to spend a little extra to get something memorable, I really like the new Gelatinous Cube that you can open up and stick a mini inside. Your cheapest option for getting a huge-sized dragon is probably one of those Pathfinder dragon evolution box sets. Your cheapest option for getting any kind of huge-sized mini is a Fomorian. Never buy dragonborn - the price is crazy high for some reason. Instead buy half-dragons and dragonspawn from War of the Dragon Queen and call them dragonborn.

I've found it can take up to a year meeting weekly to get to level 10. Level 5 takes much less, maybe only a month or two, because getting from 1 to 2 takes one session and getting from 2 to 3 takes one or two sessions.
