then loot the burner and find out where the meet is and kidnap the MS, or shoot them too.

nothing of value is really lost (including me in possible jail)

You didn't need that hyphen.

Now, if you had written "heroin-addicted junkies", it would be correctly used.

For a couple of years it was gaining popularity (Innistrad, Bloodborne) so I let's do a /tg/ version with Blackjack and Hookers.

Post ideas and monsters you alwyas wanted to see in a gothic setting and something coherent will come out. Post crazy ideas.

Ideas so far:

All monster, vampire, werewolves, zombies and angels have the same source:

>A few thousands years ago a giant elderich abomination arrived to the setting planet. It was similar to a beholder, big moon sized eyeball in space.

>His method of nutrition was: send in oozing organisms that will integrate with local biosphere and slowly transform it all into handy bites for him to eat. Being a timeless abomination that cruised the stars it was not like he was in a hurry.

>Human alchemist discovered that thiss ooze stuff in small doses can be used to mutate humans while not making them subservent to the instincts imprinted by Big Eye and allowing the humanity to fight back. Vampires, werewolves, ginat monster were born then.

>But at best humans were defeating small servants, nothing could harm the Big Eye. Then humans discovered that Medusa gaze ability of certain monsters was not influenced by size. So humanity produced a shit ton of medusas and made them look up.

>The planet have acquired a moon!

>Even in stone state the Big Eye is an elderich beast. When the sunlight enters its pupil and is reflected back the resulting light have magical properties. During full moon the Big Eye project a magic cone that makes werewolves transform and have other funny effects.

>Medusas all across the word every full moon have to look up to the moon, otherwise the enchantment might wear off and liberate the abomination. And medusas are becoming extinct...

>This big war criplled humanity and this explains why it reached the victorian tech only now.

>In such a setting horrible monsters aqcuired power. All monsters derived from black ooze have to consume intelligent life to substain their magical powers.

>Some creatures like Gargoyls could be made only with alchemical procedures involving the black ooze, while others like vampires once the first one was made could propagate themselves. So mosnter population exploded.

>Humans risked extinction. So the most powerful monsters being resonable ex human they were decided to solve this problem.

>Church was formed. Humans wearing a cross handed by the church could not be eaten. Anyone who dissobeys was hunted by the church hunters and the local monster lord. And have to undergo a trial.

>This way human and mosnter populations can be controlled. Angels are at the top of the Church and they also are mosnters.

>Normal humans are unaware of all this but they know if you wear openly the cross you are protected from monsters. Cross ditribuitions is regulated by the church.

Sorry it ended up beign longer then I thought.
So now post your ideas.

What's the deal with the undead /tg/?

Namely the type of corporeal undead that consume flesh and other humors on a regular basis: Zombies, wights, ghouls, vampires, etc. The necromancer in my Ravenloft campaign is dead set on finding out what happens with all the flesh once it's been eaten. Is it absorbed? does it just kinda sit in a zombie's guts untill the tummy fills to capacity and bursts? Or do they in fact have some weird functioning digestive system going on? What do you think, happens, /tg/?

I kinda like the explanation they gave in Attack on Titan, where a titan will eat a bunch of people then barf it back up when it's full. An undead doesn't eat because it's hungry or needs the nutrients, 'cause it's fucking dead. But it eats because the dark energy that powers an undead compels it to murder.

My two cents anon. Your necromancer is a faggot if this is his top concern.

>Probably they shit themselves all the time after each meal

In the case of a lot of zombie settings, it's pretty clearly more of a way to spread the infection than to provide fuel for the undead; you don't see them picking their kills clean, they just grab a bite and move on so that the corpse reanimates.

Background: Please add a description on what constitutes "positive", what constitutes "negative".

Belief: The way you wrote the classification of this implies that a character/player either acts on their Beliefs or not (read: binary state). Are you sure you don't want an undefined grey zone here? You'd have to provide a detailed description on what is covered by said beliefs, or suffer stress by doing things that are just not mentioned in the description.
What is a "better outcome"?

Flaw: What "Crash Course"? Filling the stress gauge? Besides that, this is fine.

Secret, Regret and Fear:
I presume that "defend from fear" means that the character successfully managed to not face the source of his/her fear, correct?
You can't "overcome" a secret, in this case it would be preserve.

What is this about? Also, continue.

This is a thread for brainstorming racist slurs for fantasy or sci-fi. General use is preferred of course. Please don't debate the nature of slurs here, you're not clever for pointing out that many are only offensive by context, everyone already fucking knows that.

What this thread is for is those rare insults for which the context is built in or that are inherently insulting-sounding. Examples might include 'mayfly,' as said by elves to humans, or 'stunties,' as addressed to dwarfs.

FTL is a plot device for making baseline humans relevant, without the massive energy, infrastructure, or lifespan realistic interstellar civilisations need.
