Good fellows, I have a problem and cannot divine a solution. Please hear my plight:

>Since my first day, she has bullied me incessantly (Mocking my lack of physical prowess, belittling my arcane knowledge and abilities, threats of violence etc.)
>Saved her from being crushed by a voracious log-wielding ogre and she scolded me for saving her with “flashy shit”
>After that the bullying intensified
>Don't have to say anything any more, she'll find any reason, any time to lay into me
>Ask the rest of the band for help and receive precisely none
>Priest and hedge knight now whisper to each other behind their hands when warrior-woman shouts at methe bastards are supposed to be examples of morality
>Bullying gets worse at this point
>She finds out that I don't like having my personal space invaded and proceeds to stand too close
>Eventually, this sets me off and I snap at her
>Just responds with “What's the matter? Can't handle a real woman?”
>Takes to glaring at me from across the campfire
>Sits right next to me while I'm consulting my spellbook and nudges my arm and hand
>Buy a tent and some candles so I won't be disturbed
>Have to face the flaps away from the campfire because she keeps positioning herself so she can spy on me
Goodness, gracious. I'm so annoyed that I should go to the nearby stream and cool off. If anyone has a solution that doesn't involve escalating the situation by casting spells on her, I would be most appreciative. I shall return soon to see what you think.I posted something similar in a wizard thread once, but it locked before I could continue the story and it's been rattling around in my head ever since

I'm willing to play whatever the party needs. I'm willing to provide as detailed or as vague a backstop as you need to mesh well with your campaign. I thoroughly enjoy roleplaying, and wouldn't mind either a high RP game, a high smash and grab, or a nice mix of the two.
I'm also really tempted about shadowrun, but I'm very unfamiliar with the system.
I own most DH 1 and DW books and prefer to play those as I enjoy having a solid book I can flip through as needed.

How lewd do your games get? I'm in one right now where my fighter and the lady druid (played by an actual girl) are locked in anime-levels of lewdness. None of this was intended, idk how it even started, but now we can't stop. Wild shape spooning, tying each other up with our 50ft hempen ropes during down time, groping each other every time we move past each other's tokens, constant CONSTANT dirty talk, absolutely filthy. Does this happen to anyone else? Is this normal?I'm not complaining, just curious

It's not abnormal as long as everyone is comfortable. Though in your case it sounds like you're about 2 beers and one night away from fucking on top of the d4s (don't fuck on top of the d4s).
As far as my own games go, well, I wouldn't allow outright ERP (that'd be fucking weird, and I talk to these people conversationally), but there's a varying scale of lewdness. Mostly the players are content to skirt-chase the occasional cute redhead, harass an elf of either gender, try and bang a blacksmith's daughter, or engage in mild flirting with unmarried noblewomen.

Like the other anon said, if it's not bothering anybody it's perfectly normal. Though certainly not common. Though I'm curious, does this girl show any interest in you? Do you have the hots for her? that much lewdness is certainly not common among groups, unless it's really poorly hidden flirting with their PCs instead of doing it in real life.

World Building : Africa.
Gold, very naked peoples, bright colored clothes..a primal and wild land with lion kings the size of tanks, and gorillas wielding tree trunks(don't enter the forest). A very harsh land, only the strong survive. Where only the fools go alone. Survival is in numbers.

If you were building a campain in an Africa like land, how would you do it? The first things I can think of is the older kingdoms of Ghana and Mali. Making them more powerful, able to stand their ground from the muslim invaders.
-Metal is scarce. No paladins, etc etc.
I just got the Nyambe books, but just currious on thoughts. I hope this isnt a sensitive subject.

Magic and the laws of physics do not get along with each other very well. Classic examples are things like Fire Elementals which, as someone put it, shouldn't count as fire is a chemical reaction and not an element.
Of course you can state that in a given fantasy setting our laws of physics do not apply, a common approach. I am looking for something different.
For world building I am trying to create some rules of magic which would not violate the willing sense of disbelief to much in a world that runs on our laws of physics with magic as an additional available energy source. Also magic is unable to think, you have to know what you are doing.
On the power scale I am looking for a lower level, more DSA then DnD.
Examples of things which should not exist:
Creating matter out of nowhere.(Creating something like a sword for example would take an amount of energy which could blow up a city)
No shape shifting (Where does the mass go/come from?)
Things I have come up with so far:
Illusions, creating light from energy.
Mental effects, influencing/controlling the mind of an entity.
Direct use of magic energy as blasts and force fields.
Anyone willing to help me out?
I would also welcome a discussion about "classic" uses of magic and what kind of energy and knowledge that would actually require.

Sure it is. Air, earth, fire and water. It's not magic's fault if some universe with a completely different set of physical laws has fire be a chemical reaction between elements instead of an element in its own right. Your problem isn't that magic and the laws of physics don't get along, it's that you're expecting a universe with demonstrably different physical laws (as evidenced by the fact that magic works) to play by the rules of our universe.

Fire Elementals could absolutely exist, just as a misnomer, since a construct could be created out of flammable materials. 'Brimstone and whale oil construct' just doesn't have the same ring to it.
The whole premise of magic, as I've understood it, is that a good mage can create energy, but a GREAT one can create matter. Inversely, a dark mage can destroy energy, and a PURE FUCKING EVIL one can destroy matter. Something of a yin and yang effect.
Since you're going for a scaled down world of magic, the two higher tiers will be chopped off. Even so, if it's going to follow the laws of physics, we'll have to establish where the energy is coming that they are using to perform their actions? Is it seeded in the world? Is magic the ultimate potential energy? Is it internal to the user? Perhaps something in between?

Magic can be used to perform any feat that is capable through technology and a modern understanding of physics, without the technology bit.

How the fuck do you make combat not suck? Specifically in systems that don't focus solely on combat.
Combat always devolves into 'you swing your sword, you slash him across the chest. He swings his axe, you deflect his blow, you stab...'

Traveller is a classic science fiction system first released in 1977. In its original release it was a general purpose SF system, but a setting was soon developed called The Third Imperium, based on classic space opera tropes of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, with a slight noir tint.
