Anyone homebrewed new heroes for this? Having a lot of fun playing it with buddies and wondering how I can spice it up.
>A warrior who's immune to physical damage while dealing and is vulnerable to magic damage.
>A warrior who's immune to magical damage while dealing and is vulnerable to physical damage.
>These two beings are constantly attacking each other, unable to gain a advantage on one another because both got cursed with the memory of a gold fish.
>The party has the choice to save one or the other from their curse and have them join the party.
Who would your character pick and why?

>A warrior who's immune to magical damage while dealing and is vulnerable to physical damage.
Because casters are faggots.
Do you mean magic damage as in any magical effect that causes hp reducing damage kind of stuff, or do you mean is immune to negative effects of any kind from magic? In the case of the latter that's a no brainer.
>>54379436
>magic damage
I guess him because when either is mind controlled we can kill him easier
Ever been inspired by a musical /tg/? If so, what came out of it?
>>54379392
Yes. That one. I played a hopeless lawful-good paladin in a magical burst game. Old man who's daughter was a magical girl and died in combat. He went a little crazy and took up her quest, swearing that while he still drew breath, another like his daughter would never fall.
This is my absolute favorite version of the song

I once roleplay an Arbiter based on Jervert from Les Misersble.
The GM caught that, he basically made me a mini side quest regarding this revolution in the hive city.
The fucker put a kid that danced and smiles, not by corruption or daemon influece, but because what little he understood about the Imperial Creed and the Emperor his doing was right.
My character basically did what ever he could to produce a warrior burrial for this kill, instead of the usual body into protein bar hive have,
This boy was more man than the men at the barricades. They were not brave just stupid you can't win a Rebelion with just the people in 40k. You need to involve the church, companies, healing center maybe some Sosoritas if your cause is faithful enough, and maybe some nobles.
You need to pull politics to make them work, otherwise between local enforcers, arbiters and PDF your Rebelion is dead.
If one of your parents in an elf and another is a human will you be an Elf or a Human since there is no Half-Elf race.
>>54379370
There's no half-races as far as I know in Shadowrun. I'm pretty sure probability favors orcs and humans when mixed, but I might be pulling that out of my ass
I don't know if it changed, but are kids of metas born metas or is it random? Does goblinization still happen?
>>54379394
You're right.
>>54379510
They're born like regular humans/one race, and can goblinize into the other one (or extremely rarely, goblinize into a third race).
They do get little non-mechanical differences, such as human+troll being a gentle type that's more humanlike with smaller horns/tusks, orc+elf gets prettier with pointy ears, but they have to be one or the other mechanically.
*wins you the game
stop giving your fucking money to these radical leftist SJWs
get a life
>>54379205
pffhahaha
bro you're on 4chan, and you're telling someone else to get a life?
>>54379438
He just wants to exchange life totals, no biggie.
How would you do a campaign/setting where the players are powerful "ungods" like the titans of greek mythology or DnD 4E's prometheans?
What kind of motivation could such a party have? What kind of world could support them?
>>54378393
You mean the primordials? I don't know about players actually being them, but it could be interesting to play a party of primordial worshipers or cultists.

Since there's a new (animated but with the original actors doing the VA) movie coming out, I was wondering if anyone knew where to get the tabletop miniatures? I think they're pretty old but I've seen them around here quite a bit.
>>54378191
>we'll never get a faithful to the book movie outside of anime
Can I please just get a movie about dudes in power armor jumping kilometers at a time tossing nukes on skinnies and bugs like fucking candy? Is that so hard to ask?
>>54378236
Better than nothing my dude. The last movie was...all right, apart from the very obviously japanese anime moments and the bad VA. The fact that the original actors do that this time can make it better. Trailer also shows shoulder mounted missile launchers, maybe nukes.
>players are ancient monster hunters
>'monsters' have effectively integrated with humans
>Integral parts of the community
>trolls repair bridges, goblins maintain sewer networks , ogres guard livestock
>Players have to fabricate monster attacks to justify being paid
>Then brutally kill innocent framed monsters
>players are actually the real monsters

>Magical realm campaign idea
>Semen is a core component to all healing draughts.
>The stronger the donor, the more potent the draughts.
>The party goes through a series of challenges and adventures to prove their mettle, hence increasing the perceived value of their semen.
>Adventurers delve deeper into the semen market uncovering black markets.
>Find out some are producing counterfeit dragon semen by cutting drake semen with cattle semen
>Go on a righteous quest to dismantle the racket ring and ensure that people get their rightful semen.
>There are two parties, but only one set of players. Each players has 2 characters, one in each.
>First party is located in the capital and they are member or retinue of a noble noble, advancing their agenda.
>Second party is in the 'field', journey to distant places and doing high risks jobs for the family.
>You can choose to send your agents in a difficult mission for you, since it will give you an advantage over your rival, but this means deciding to play the tough mission with your own characters.

Are you acoustic hello?
Funny that /tg/ keep on saying that personal 3D printers are not good to print models. While in reality it's because no one actually bothered to design something well.
https://3dwargaming.com/2017/05/18/resolution-no-orientation/
Neat.
>>54376601
>While in reality it's because no one actually bothered to design something well.
No, the reality is that 3D printing high-quality models is even more expensive than casting models from high-quality molds.also, I'm going to agree with you that that print looks awesome, but I can still see the grain of the print through the paintjob
There is literally no difference printing vertically or horizontally
Is this a troll?
Even his example picture to show off the difference has one method with light reflecting off the surface so you can see all the details, and the other with muted light so you can't see all the details.
What a crock of shit.
2nd edition primarily but all editions welcome.
Didn't see a AGoT thread in a long time and I'm not actually sure there ever was so here we go
What's your favourite house to play? Favourite strategy? What about the differences between the lore and the actual game?
>>54375170
I for one think that moat calin should matter more and that the Eyrie should be a faction of it's own, because that only leaves the whole peninsula as only the strategic objective for baratheons or Starks

Sup /tg/?
I'm about to pitch Blades in the Dark to my group (My turn to GM). The concept of a system actually planned around a group of criminals interests me and from a brief skimming the system itself looks pretty solid.
Before I do however I'd like to ask you negative nancies, what's wrong with it? I can already see what I like and that might blind me to any glaring issues in the system.
Anyone got any horror stories, serious design flaws, or maybe even good stuff to say about it?
No serious flaws. Don't change the base setting too much, the pieces interconnect really well as is. It will take a few sessions for you and the players to all find your groove at first.
MAKE SURE EVERYONE HAS BOUGHT INTO THE SYSTEM. I f a player is not invested, it makes it hard for them to move the plot since it's so character-interaction-centric.
Oh, and it's a narrative system, make sure the players know why they would want be hurting themselves via vices and bargains and how it helps them and you in the long term.
>>54374781
I like the system and love the setting. I think your players will really enjoy themselves if they can get in character and involved in the setting.
What I have heard (from the creator himself and others) is that when you start off at tier zero, it can be a bit of a slog to advance.
Also, there are several different types of gang, so you should also figure what the group's focus is and how each character can contribute.
If you haven't already watched it, I highly recommend the Rollplay Blades in the Dark campaign GM'd by John Harper himself.
Some years back, I remember stumbling upon a really interesting campaign world. The premise was roughly as follows:
- The 'world' consists of a gigantic ship sailing an immense sea.
- All characters arrive to this ship by being found (and rescued) from the sea.
- Characters can be from any campaign world, time period, etc.
I lost my bookmarks from back then, and have not been able to find this world again by googling. Does anyone recall the name?
>Warhammer miniatures are made from plastic which is made from oil which is made from dinosaur bones
Makes you think
>he still believes the biotic theory of oil formation
>>54373763
>Warhammer miniatures are made from plastic which is made from oil which is made from algae blooms
Fixed.
>>54373763
Always remember the exchange rate of coins.
1 gold Crown is equal to 21 silver Lyras, each of which is worth 14 bronze Pfennids (or seven Zweipfennids) which are divided into two Haypfennids or five Quintings.
A Quinting will get you a turnip, a Haypfennid will get you a mug of cheap beer, a Pfennid will get you a mug of good beer, a Zweipfennid will get you a decent bowl of stew, a Lyra can get you a decent knife and a basic sword is worth a Crown.
>>54373756
The exchange rates are ridiculous for a system like DnD, but I do agree that if you divided prices by 10, but made coinage 10x rarer, you'd have an accurate system.
Shouldn't Full Plate cost as much as a well-trained destrier?
