It's neat but my players like having more options.

On a related note, Shadow of the Demon Lord has a level of crunch that seems to suit them, it plays fast but and is easy to learn. I don't see it discussed here often though.

The effort system is garbage and is hilariously similar to Vancian Magic but for skills. Why would you place charges and uses on skills?

I'm working on my first ever deck, looking to use it at FNM.

I'm very likely making some huge mistakes here, as this is my first attempt at a deck. (other than I don't have a sideboard yet)

But I think it's on the right track. My guess would be that i'm missing some 2-drop removals? Do I have to sack some high CMC cards to put more cheap instants/sorceries?

Any help is appreciated.

Look like giant rice grains like the other anon said. No matter how round, streamlined or organic the rest of the ship looks, the nacelles are always *somewhat* angular, with a "conventional" futuristic look. The pylons look a lil weird, too.

>Saucer
I like the detailing, although it looks very heavily armed, even/especially by Trek standards. Escape pods all in sensible(ish) places without messing with the aesthetic. If that's a galaxy-style saucer shuttle bay at the back, though, it needs to be more obvious from the sides, with more of a vertical drop. Needs impulses engines on the saucer, though.

Pretty sexy. Really sexy. If I had to fault it, I'd say it's still overly-armed, and could do with a bigger slope down from the saucer since I'm not super keen on the "in-line" neckless ship design that's big in most of post-TNG, even if it's more technically sound. I always hated the big bulge at the bottom of the stardrive sections that started being a thing with the Excelsior(?), but it's not too bad here.

To put it bluntly, approaching the realms of STO/Ark Royal/Steel Donut ship memery. The Galaxy was supposed to be the closest thing you could get to a mobile starbase and ended up an overengineered mess, and the sovvie was meant to be a big-ass battlecruiser to go toe-to-toe with other capital ships and ended up being an expensive status symbol. You don't need anything anywhere that big for exploration - something around the size of an Nebula would be more than plenty unless you're talking decades on the frontier.


That being said, you may want to take all of this with a pinch of salt, since I also think the Intrepid, Ambassador and Nova were sexy and the Defiant, Akira and Excelsior are overrated.

So I've settled on a legion, the Warmaster's own.
Is it a solid choice to base them around Death Dealers with a plethora of combis on Reavers, Veterans, Terminators, Seekers? I like combined regular with deep striking deployment so I'll be definitely getting some Dreadclaws, but the exact details are still far off.

I want to say Horse gets my boner going the most, but gonna have to go Cow because Horses as animals are the fucking worst.

I love 2e. My gaming group plays 2e every week and we have done for years. I feel that it avoids a lot of the bloat that happened in later editions and it allows you to really focus on what's important - roleplaying

How fun is the Paladin to play? We rolled stats and I actually made the cut even though I was originally going to shoot for fighter

(Cont...) I've also played a lot of Baldur's gate, which is pretty awesome too. I have lots of fond memories of the voice effects 'IT'S TIME FOR A LITTLE BIT OF ROUGH AND TUMBLE'. We tend to do 4D6 droplow, but sometimes we switch things up.

From what I can remember Kreia saw that the force was fucked and as a result so too were the Jedi and Sith. She wanted to kill them both off and then have the Exile form a synthesis of the two and then start fresh from there.

Dominion is my answer for this just like last thread. I personally hate to play it and will turn it down, but I respect it mechanically for making deck building and being solid if you're ok with mostly solitaire.
Hopefully that doesn't bring the literal autist from last thread back.
