What the fuck are you trying to say? Speak English.
>>54520452
Do you have the Player's Handbook? I'd suggest reading it.
Why is it that whenever someone asks a question about literally any system, there's always some turdburglar waddling into a thread to whine that you should be using GURPS instead?
Is /tg/ the /gurps/ board, is it a shitty meme like FATAL, or are GURPs players simply that autistic?
Too many absolute+hyperbolic statements to be good bait.
>>54520603
He's not wrong, though.
>>54520618
He's not exactly right, either.
What would be awesome creatures to fight for a party made of no longer living? Not necessary an evil party. Obscure D&D monsters are welcome.
Since we are on the topic what your ideal PLAYABLE undead party would look like? I'm thinking a Lich, a Death Knight and a Wight/banshee with thief levels.
>>54520355
>Since we are on the topic what your ideal PLAYABLE undead party would look like?
Court Erudite/Stacy with horrible anxiety whose answer to every problem is to blow it up, from other racers to interviews at pit stops.
Holic Gothic/Baroque fireblooded speed demon named "Hot Heels" that serves as the party's ride during the Wacky Races.
Sorority Requiem/Romanesque who has to play team mom and make sure the Court and Holic don't eat each other alive.
Mechanus citizens that shout "eternal life is against the LAAAW". And are led by dread.
A dead party.
Running my first session tomorrow!
On the recommendation of /tg/, rather than starting out my PCs in captivity, I've started them in a hired wagon caravan that is taking them to their destination. But there's trouble in these here hills... they may not make it to their destination unmolested.
As of right now, I've planned out combat encounters for:
-their transport being attacked
-a single-enemy miniboss battle
-a prison, for them to escape if a TPK happens, or for them to assault if they feel like it
I've got a rough route for them to string between these fights, the order differing based on the team's choices and successes.
My Q is: is that enough for a 3 hour session, provided there are a few random encounters along the way? I was planning to ad lib village encounters and conversations with some prep beforehand. I've also got the first dungeon from Mines of Phandelver in the event they blaze through all of my shit.
Am I underprepared? And if so, how can I quickly prepare for it? Assume I have 2 hours of free time max before our session tomorrow.
>>54520350
And just for raw attention seeking, here is what I've made (which will be completely illegible at this quality)
Bumping with charts
>>54520350
Combat takes forever, so I'd say that 3 hours would not be enough.
Should every card in a TCG be useful in some way?
or its okay to have filler cards for a set that pretty much are useless or straight up bad?
>>54520269
>its okay to have filler cards for a set that pretty much are useless or straight up bad?
No
Unless you ask Mark Rosewater.
>>54520269
Ideally, no, but good luck doing that while trying to expand.
>>54520280
On the other hand Richard Garfield managed to put up a game where every card is playable and kept it alive for some two dozen sets.
"""They""" are happy edition

First for commorragh!!
How many Burnaboyz does it take to kill a Flying Hive Tyrant?
Belisarius Cawl recently discover STC for creating Frame Arms Girl along with plastic kits, Jyuden-kun, Session Base plus Godhand nipper.
Cawl decided to mass produce the Frame Arms Girl for whole Imperium (with or without permission of Roboute Gilliam). How will it effect the setting of Warhammer 40k with Frame Arms Girl?
Another faction of plastic kits to sell to the players. Overall not powerful enough to influence the setting as a whole when they have to compete with everyone else both inside and outside the Imperium.
The fact that they are cute girls means that some members of the Imperium will be distrustful of them, while Slanesh and the Dark Eldar will take a particularly perverse interest in them. But they will be able to defend themselves as well as anybody else, and will have other more friendly factions fighting alongside them. Also a bunch of assholes on /tg/ will shitpost about them because they hate change.
All this should be pretty obvious to anybody who pays attention to the setting, and how it reflects the war-gaming community and visa versa. Both dolls and Toy soldiers simply recreate the world around them in miniature. You've probably met the four Chaos gods in your FLGS.
>>54520246
Why not? Frame suits have a place.
Take a jetpack unit and give them a bigger jetpack and bigger guns at the cost of a naked torso. Its just a powersuit frame.
Fight like attack on Titan guys, specialized to deal with monstrous creatures and titans, dance around them. Shoot weak spots from midair.
Glass cannon deals with camping vehiclesvia deep strike or assault.
We already have something similar.

I'm actually interested in this
Is this game any good? Also how does it compare to AD&D and MERP?
>>54519292
I miss having quest threads on /tg/.
This is a bad game, and the only reason you made this thread is for an excuse to start /pol/-posting.
We're not dumb. You've done this countless times, and you haven't even changed your file name.
It's like AD&D with 3D6. Terribly mediocre. Just play GURPS instead.

Kill yourself qquestfag.
Is this a good idea? Hell no!
Is it likely to devolve into magical realm Shit? Probably.
Is it a complete excersize in supidity? That's why we're doing it!
