Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

I am just upset that I already had to choose a new army and when I found something I liked they shitted on that too. Well half of them did.

Gonna stick with DA I guess but its gonna be another couuple months now to even get to my sixth game since I have to remake a whole army.

I actually like that in some animes, but I'm not sure how to feel about in a game. I think it could be fun, if only for some laughs. Makes me think of the New World as a setting in Overlord.

One of my favourite parts of KOTOR 2 is they do refer to how killing things makes the main character stronger - and that's why all the Jedi Masters are fucking horrified of you. What sort of monster are that murder makes you stronger?

I've seen it used well in KoToR 2. A lot of the gamisms are revealed to be semi-unique to you because you carry a wound in the force with you that causes a lot of odd effects. People will point out to you that it is extremely not normal for people to just abandon their lives to fight to the death at the command of someone they just met, or for someone to be able to grow stronger by feeding on death, and that it all makes you deeply weird and threatening.

I generally don't like it, because it's a fairly big change to how the world works that's rarely properly accounted for in the setting, but it's not impossible to make something good with the concept.

I know they exist. Point is, I don't want something with such poor editing quality, and CGL first print runs are invariably crap. Heck, I've toned it back to relying on others having a copy of books for SR, based on editing quality alone.
