Does anyone else find it annoying when Centaurs are all about Lance Charges, when a lance charge would more than likely snap the spine of the upper torso?

How do you figure that centayrs are all about lance charges? I see them more as light cavalry skirmishers. They're literally figuratively barbarians.

If Chaos also represents positive emotions, desires and concepts... Why aren't there any 'good' people getting their marks?

But there are good people who get the mark, how else do you think Horsey got corrupted?
>>
Because just about anything can be good in moderation/if used appropriately, and the worship of Chaos requires them to fully devote themselves to their God's aspect. They won't use things in moderation or only when it's appropriate, but will instead force them wherever they can, and confine all of their thoughts, dreams, actions, EVERYTHING to that one small grouping of emotions/desires.
That's why, even if you started out with good intentions, you'll not seem good after you properly convert.

But, technically, Chaos Undivided cultists could still be good, but Chaos Undivided is technically Diet Chaos so I'm not sure if it counts.

But Chaos isn't good, the chaos gods are born and fueled primarily of the galaxy's enormous output of negative energy/actions/emotions.

Like >>43523701 said, the chaos gods exist only to propagate their own specific aspects, so it's not only easy but necessary to go overboard.

Your relaxing stay at the island resort has taken a turn for the strange when some of your friends seem to have fallen under some kind of amorous spell that causes them to become obsessed with you. Well, even more than they already were. Normally you wouldn't mind, but you can spy a possible disaster on the horizon. You need to fix this, and fast.

Awakening to the sound of rolling waves and indistinct screaming voices, you briefly take a few moments to ease your pounding head and spit sand from your mouth. The world around you is rolling in your mind from the shock of being shot through a wall by a blast of searing heat. The bamboo walls of Cocoa's hut are in tatters, smoldering with embers from the force of the blow. You yourself can feel a heat upon your flesh - not like fire, but more akin to a sudden heatwave throughout your body. You struggle to your knees.

"Makoto!" You hear a distant voice cry out. Or at least, it feels distant. You can spy what appears to be Mai and Shun quickly approaching you. Shun hits the sand on her knees and slides into your side, immediately cradling you in her arms. Mai stand behind, looking concerned for you. Nice to see at least.

"Makoto, are you okay? Can you hear me?" Shun asks, frantic in a panic. You shoot her a pained smile and cough up some sand.

"Y-Yeah, I'm alright. Or I w-will be, once I can heal." You tell her, patting her on the back. She sighs in relief, and you hear a crackling from the hut. A few people scramble away from the hut as Cocoa emerges; barefoot, hair in a tangle, and utterly pissed off. She leers at you, emitting an intense aura of steam that shrivels the leaves underfoot and threatens to melt the sand. Well, at least you know where all that glass came from...

"Agh, great, she's like this again." Mai grumbles, cautiously taking out her phone. "Makoto, you might need to transform for this. Unless you have a better way to deal with her?" She asks, glancing back at you. She blushes slightly and then glances forward. "And, uh, y-you might want to fix your clothes..."

You blink and look down at your clothes, smoldering with cinders, and blush, covering your groin with a hand. Well... at least you're not 'almost naked' anymore.

It is the year 200X and with the raped advancement of Internet technology has created the “Network Age.” Everyone now carries a portable exploration device called "PET". This personal terminal is an advanced personal digital assistant. Using it, you can make phone calls, send and receive emails, keep a calendar, store data, shop online and check news from around the world. PET is so convenient and helpful that it has become essential for everyday life!

Every PET uses a personality simulation program called Net Navi(gator). By customizing your PET's Navi program, you can give your Net Navi a unique personality - and even talk to it. Yours was built and customized by your father and given to you at your 6th birthday, his name is Changedman.exe. Despite him constantly nagging at you to wake up, do your homework, making sure you are not getting in trouble, etc. The two of you get along quite well to the point you consider each other brothers, though who the elder brother is still up for debate.

At the moment your family is moving from your home country, Creamland, to the country of Electopia for your father’s new job at a place called SciLab located within Densan City or Den City for short. It doesn’t take long, well for you since you fell asleep on the ride over from the airport, for your family to arrive at the new house within the new town you will be living in for time being.

Sort of an odd question. I'm currently taking a class on propaganda, and we've had an interesting lesson about the use of cartoons (which were seen a highly effective method since the 1940's due to people's tendency to "lower their mental defenses" when dealing with what they perceive to be harmless, juvenile entertainment).

So... if cartoons, why not tabletop roleplaying games? Could they be used as vessels of propaganda? Why haven't they until now (or have they, and I just don't know about it?)? If not, than why is that? What makes them so fundamentally different?

Food for though.

I don't think Best Koreans are allowed to go on 4chan.

On that note, how would a Korean RPG look like? It's interesting that Japan has a fairly robust tabletop RPG industry, but Korea has none. What's up with that?

“So for our performance in yesterday’s assault, our unit is being sent to the rear.” You hope it wasn’t because of last night. Your headache spikes every time you think about it. “We are going to be performing manual labor duties for the Corps until we are needed once again.” The only person who looks satisfied at the thought of not having to do any fighting is Rascal. “Which of course means that no… we are not expected to run into any combat in the REAR,” you say with emphasis to Greta.

“Absolutely disgusting,” she hisses. “Are they really so arrogant that they’ll send five perfectly good witches to the rear in the middle of an assault!?”

“It wasn’t the Colonel’s call,” you say, folding your arms. “This came directly from High Command themselves. And we have to deal with it all the same.” Aurelia at least seems to be taking the news well, simply going back to filing her nails. As for Thorn well-

She threw her bed over your head, letting it crash through the tent and surprise a few soldiers passing by. “Horseshite!” she screams. “Fucking bullshit!” Greta and Rascal immediately shrink in fright at Thorn’s fury. “You all worked so hard to get where we are now and they’re just going to send us back to the rear!? I am not going to go back to filing paperwork again!” she yells. She grabs her footlocker and slams it down on Aurelia’s bed. It launches Aurelia briefly in the air, before she quickly lands without another word. Aurelia really is taking the news well. “I’m angry! ANGRY ABOUT STRATEGIC DECISIONS!”

“Thorn, it’s only temporary. When they need us again, they’ll call but right now…” You sigh sadly. “Yeah, we’re being sent to the rear so uh… Everyone pack your things and we’ll just be uh…” You bite your lip, mulling over it. Well, at least you got your taste of battle in. And what an amazing taste it was. “Yeah. Pack up.”

Rascal looks around at everyone sulking, or in Thorn’s case still throwing items around in a fit of anger. “A-… am I the only one looking forward to going back to the rear?” she says.

Pastebin shit: http://pastebin.com/2MSV2Y8m
(contains info dumps, summaries, and other crap; not up to date because of procrastination)

You are not Richter von Tracht.

You are Lukas Weizenkranz, an officer in the commission of the army of the Grossreich, in command of the 1st Company of the newly organized 71st Panzer Battalion of the 5th Light Division.

You had been rigid and uptight when you had begun your basic training almost nineteen years ago. You were exempt from military service due to working at an ammunition manufacturing plant, but the overtures of the recruitment programs had seduced you. You saw no reason to cease acting in accordance with ceremony even in the most dire of times. You were less inclined to these high standards now, in the wake of what you have lived through.

Once, in a time long past, you rode alongside the current Kaiser in the last days of the War of Emrean Liberation, forging legendary victories even as the treaties conceding defeat were being drafted. If you were to dare, you could have even called the Kaiser your friend at some point. You recall fondly of the time the young Prince called you by your first name, as your regiment wandered the countryside, lost in the newly declared peace. Many friends had been made and lost; the only one that you know survived the war unscathed was Pieter, whose less formal nature had at first been grating in your presence but had rapidly turned comforting in the last days of that wretched war.

You are either 38 or 39 years old; you cannot remember exactly when your birthday was. It was sometime this month, in September. That knowledge was lost, like many other things, on that day.

>>
Once, you had a beautiful wife, and a child. You promised to come home to them, when you left for the front one year before the war ended. You spoke fondly of them with all who would listen in the regiment. Your wife was admittedly plain in appearance, but had a kind nature and was talented in household tasks.

She had been shy when you first approached her, so long ago, but your marriage had been the happiest, if brief, years of your life. Your child was sickly, but your pay was sufficient to obtain proper treatment. Even in the despair of the deteriorating war, you were full of hope.

You returned to a charred ruin.

An investigation revealed that your wife had been ambushed one night, when your child had gone into a particularly bad state. It was late, and dark, and she was forced to make a direct visit to the doctor with your son. She was attacked, then raped, murdered, and stripped of everything valuable. Your son, who was reached too late to be treated, succumbed to his ailment that same night.

This had happened a month before you returned, while you and your regiment were fighting furiously to escape encirclement. You had been seriously wounded, but continued to fight, determined to see your family again. Through the lightning and thunder, you shambled into the darkness, following a distant cry to continue the charge; most of the regiment’s tanks had been disabled, and the desperate breakout was fought with shovel and knife as much as it was with rifle and cannon. You felt like you were about to die several times, but each time, you had a vision of your wife and son waiting at the station, and each time, you would pick yourself back up and continue forward. Your regiment finally broke out the same night she was killed.

Riots later caused fires throughout the city you were from. There was nobody to save your previous memories from the destruction. You had lost everything.
>>
The Kaiser had offered for you to come with him and become part of his retinue after the ceasefire was declared, but you had replied that you planned to live with your family. You made no attempt to contact him after finding out the news.

For a month, you mourned. Many days you did nothing but sit in a place that held one dear memory or another, and remain there until sunset, not even thinking. You dug through the ashes of your home fruitlessly, only finding charred wood and twisted iron. The watch your wife had bought you as an anniversary gift had been lost in the war, a fact that you cursed endlessly.

One day, you were lingering in the square where you had accidentally knocked over your wife to be, your second meeting. A man approached you, and passed you a silver locket with robin egg blue enameling; the locket you had given to your wife on your third anniversary, just before leaving for the war.

With trembling hands you opened it as soon as you recognized it, finding a tiny photograph inside, of your wife and child and you.

The man introduced himself as a private detective. He offered you a chance at revenge; the location of the gang whom he had tracked down after interrogating the fencer of the locket.

>consumed by rage, you sought out the criminals to avenge your family

>consigned to sorrow, you turn down the chance

Where is everybody? Rage I guess.

The story so far: Anon is a member of the Calloway Military Academy's Elite Monster-Hunting SpecOps team. The school is currently being invaded by a horde of ancient zombies that cannot be killed by conventional weapons. Your personally assigned escortee, Sibella Dracula, has come to you to plead for aid, telling you a story that a witch named Revolta is responsible, and that she has abducted the other monster-girls from the Grimwood Finishing School for Ghouls. Anon is a bit suspicious if Sibella is telling the truth or if she's a mole sent by Revolta herself.

Anon is packing a hidden wooden stake in his jacket, two clips of ammo (one silver, one regular), and has just recently facilitated the production of special natron-salt rounds that should be able to kill the zombies permanently. The cadets of the school have taken some casualties but now they might just have a fighting chance.

It is suspected that the zombies are just a first wave to soften the school up before Revolta arrives personally. There's something or someone here that she's looking for.

Previous (first) thread: >>43400429

Looking for guidance, you've decided to take Sibella to meet with Col. Calloway, the headmaster of the school. As expected you've found him holed up in the central Administration building, along with the largest group of students seeking refuge from the zombie swarm outside.

As you walk down the office halls, Sibella a step behind you, you see that the school has taken on the atmosphere of a wartime bunker under constant shelling. There are cadets posted at every entrance with their standard-issue rifles at the ready and everyone is tense, waiting for the defenses to inevitably break. A couple of times the guards stop you on your way to the Colonel's office but a flash the special pin at your collar, an eye set inside a triangle, the mark of the elite SpecOps class, reminds them of your special rank and they allow you to pass even with Sibella in tow.

Finally you reach the inner sanctum of Col. Calloway, and find your mentor there directing troop placements around the perimeter and the construction of an expeditionary task force for the purpose of retrieving any students lost out in the greater campus. but all that is put aside when he sees you've arrived.

"About time you turned up, cadet. What do you have to report?" he snaps, clearly on edge. "It'd better be good news."

"Well, we have more information than we did anyway. That's about as far as good goes though."
"Looks like this witch name of Revolta kidnapped Tanis, the mummy girl for access to her Book of the Dead for whatever reason. She might be looking for a way to access the Land of the Dead."
"Her spider-bats tried to brain-wash Sibella here. We can assume they tried the same with the other girls. Whether the other girls besides Tanis are strictly necessary or a bonus I don't know."
"However she wouldn't be bothering with the Academy if she didn't need it or something here. Whether it's because of ley-lines or what have you or an artifact in your collection...that's beyond me."
"What I do know is I need non-lethal ways to subdue the girls, rather hard, if they are mind-controlled. Or a way to snap them out of it."
"I could also use some advice on how to take care of Revolta herself without actually killing her."
"The spider-bats might also be leading or rather guiding the zombies. One of them chewed through a lockbox and stole the Jekyll serum from the lab. If that was to keep it out of our hands or she wants to use it for some reason I don't know. The spider-bats, not the zombies."
>If he says anything
"Sir, should I really be sugar-coating things right now?"
>>
>>43522834
>>43522529
>Also, if he asks why we don't necessarily want to kill her.
"I'd rather not send her anywhere she's trying to be, seems like it'd cause more trouble than it's worth."

We aren't very good with handling Nobility.

Granted, this is a strange sentence coming from a group of people best described as "Shady Dicks in Space with Power", but I bet you 2000 Gelt that you've never heard nor seen of another person or persons who can manage to get over three thousand nobles killed outside of the Inquisition, and get away with it.

Yes, you can stop rolling your eyes at me, just sit the fuck down and listen.

We were in dock at a Shipyard based out of some Hiveworld with one of those throne-awful names that makes it sound like a depressing deathtrap of a world, but is actually pretty nice if you'll look past all the Tau propaganda being blasted at us from a planet away. Yes, it was one of those frontier conflict sub-sectors stuck between a bunch of blue assholes on one side of the imaginary line and an army of Ordo Xenos Inquisitors and Stormtroopers and whatnot threatening to send everybody to their little inquisitorial prison camps on the other.

Wasn't a nice situation to be in, and I reckon a whole bunch of the natives on the planet also realized that, because day in and day out we would get people coming up to us asking to be accepted onboard. Seeing as how we were short on crew, we picked up a whole lot of them that could find their way around a ship, and kicked out the rest that didn't know jackshit about Space beyond the fact that it's dark and you die if you don't wear warm clothing out there. I shit you not, that was the response of one of those buggers when I asked him what he knew about Space.

Anyway, that wasn't the main part. The main reason we were in dock was for the conversion of a sizable section of the ship, mostly Crew Quarters and a few sections next to them that weren't used for much other than collecting dust or for smuggling, whether of the cargo kind or the people kind, into Luxury Quarters.

Yes, yes, I know what you're thinking. Us? A Rogue Trader and his group of Officers armed with too much explosives and too little sense actually doing something nice for the crew? Yes, I was surprised at first when Jarron and the drunken mess of a man I'm supposed to call a Seneschal came up with the plan, but, you see, the crew was practically in a state of constant revolt. We'd be lucky if we got any of them to shut the fuck up about the week's latest cause for complaint and get right the hell to work, and we couldn't put into dock without half the crew deserting because their quarters are apparently supposed to be worse than even the hab blocks in the Lower Hive.

You ask me? I can't tell the fucking difference between the two. Then again, I'm supposed to be a walking talking extra-emotionless vending machine. Not sure where they got that impression, since even if I am a Tech-Priest and half my body is made of metal doesn't mean I've suddenly turned into a servitor with extra functions. Infact, my dick hasn't even been replaced with an impact wrench yet. I think, anyway, not actually sure. I'll have to check next time I'm alone.

But, onto matters aside, the fact that we were converting a decent portion of the ship into luxurous quarters turned quite a few ears. Some asshole that we haven't got around to shooting yet decided to leak the news, and within days an entire cascade of fuckers with pockets overflowing with Gelt showed up politely asking us for transport to a nearby pleasure planet for a holiday cruise. Or, to translate it to Low Gothic, "Here is a huge box full of gold, get us the fuck off this planet."

Presented with this much money, we accepted. Which in hindsight was a bad idea, but at the time we didn't realize just how many fucking people were there. It wasn't just the Nobles, since if then we could've handled it, even if a planet named "Necrosseus" somehow had a bigger than average count of stuck-up assholes. Since most of them had no intent of returning to this hellhole of a planet with a name that sounds like a disease on the frontline of a territorial conflict with the Tau, they brought with them their retainers and servants, topping out at 7081 heads, counting the one two-headed freak that we were paid extra amounts of gold to ignore.

Remember this 7081 figure. Because we're going to manage to get most, if not all, of them killed.

Our ship was quite big, but the max we could stick onboard was around 25,500 before the life support machines started chugging and getting pissed, so that was 7000 toadies uselessly lounging around wasting space and enjoying the fruits of our labor that is non-toxic air and a ship that's not threatening to break apart and vent all the air into the void because we hit an asteroid, along with about twelve thousand crew, keeping in mind we were understaffed at the time and the mass-conscription on the planet at the time was really putting a damper on our attempts to recruit more crew.

Naturally, they took up the luxury quarters. All of it. Normally we could've fit tens of thousands of crewmembers into those quarters comfortably, but the space demands of these nobles were ridiculous, with some even taking entire rooms just so they could store their luggage, and the servants and retainers weren't any better, since they were taking advantage of their noble patron to get as much as they could possibly get before we just flat out said "No." and used a hammer to nail the point in.

And naturally, the crew were PISSED. They were promised luxury quarters that were promptly taken up by these snotty head-up-ass types, then shunted to the corridors and their respective compartments. Remember, the Crew Quarters were turned into these luxury quarters that were used up by said nobles, and after the tenth assault charge and two crew deaths due to overzealous House Guards, we had to put a stop to it and tell the crew to stop interacting with the nobles and just camp in the hallways or something, which did nothing to improve the situation.

Throwing money at the situation didn't help, and we had a deadline to achieve, so we resigned ourselves to having to deal with the crew and left port.

As you can imagine, the crew weren't very glad or productive, and by day four I was resorting to threatening to start shooting people with my bolter if they didn't work just to get anything done. And by day five, mutiny.
