No longer bound to a single world you reach your grasp out to new stars. Your newly crafted general Predator Nekris commands the first of your FTL-powered ships, exploring a nearby star.
Think Tanks pulse with increased power and knowledge, the Cauldron-born soldiers moving with a grace and cohesion they had lacked before. The wrecks of the former Osjiic and Dagger fleets are converted with increasing speed and efficiency, the first group of Corvettes and Frigates lifting off the surface of the moon as their shields glimmer into being.
Your living enslaved work and toil on Horizon's Drop, former warriors reduced to farmers, ranchers, miners and hunters to fuel your conquest. Loyal subjects are already emerging among their ranks. Jor, the very first being you subjugated upon your release, was a valuable asset at keeping the populace motivated and in order. The nameless Voidsinger, who's heart of ultraviolet flames consumes him a little more each day, has come to see you as a worthy leader and commander after growing discontent with the Osjiic Empires rule.
Even among the the original colonists your power has impressed and awed a number of the population. Despite the drastic change in leadership their life has remained mostly unchanged if a little busier than before. The Osjiic and Dagger were being slightly more resistant to your charms, the metal spikes weighing heavy in their bodies with their loss still fresh.
It is time for you to make your claim on this universe.

The Sorceror kings are pretty damn Beefy. The king in question'd probably die too. And a lot of innocent civilians, probably slaves, but hey, it's dark sun. Borys could manage it sufficiently, if anyone.

why doesn't the imperial guard use light tanks?
with light tanks the IG would be able to respond to enemy flanking maneuvers much faster, and while light tanks aren't as tough as normal tanks, they should be able to hold the line until the Leman Russ gets there
light tanks would probably be really useful against factions like the Dark Eldar, who rely on speed and maneuverability

You take in a long breath, hold it, and exhale before carefully folding the maimed arms of the corpse and then picking it up.
There’s still plenty blood within the small body, best not to let it go to waste.
Your dagger plunges through the chest, easily slicing skin, crunching through bone, until it reaches its target. You leave it there to tap the well of power, and rise to your feet, holding your final weapon.
The dark and silent abyss behind you beckons through its sheer existence, yet you turn not to it, but to the obscured volume of space where Ali once stood.
It would be easy enough to leave her there, but as you laid dying on the ground, you derived the only possible explanation for how Ali was able to skillfully manipulate all those she needed to. However, there remains two questions that you can’t solve just yet, and your curiosity beckons.
Ali shakily stumbles upon her legs as you release your bridge realm. Her eyes quickly focus upon your recovered form, and the weapon that you hold in your arms.
Your own eyes focus upon the still wet splattering of Azalie’s blood over her body and the weapon she still clutches in her right hand. “That’s no longer going to do you any good.”
Her hand lingers for a moment, before she eventually drops the weapon to the ground.

You're honestly speechless. Just a second ago, you were staring at a very confused Hiroko Shimada, and now you're looking at two. Your plan to separate out the last two girls with the Burning Heart curse involved dressing up your brother as an exact duplicate of yourself. He would distract Hiroko while you cured Yui. Simple, right? With her problem solved, naturally you assumed Hiroko would be the easy part of all this. Now, you're not so sure.
The two Hirokos, identical in appearance and even clothing (the dress must be made of water as well), stare at you with devious, joyful grins. They spare a quick glance for Yuuki, himself a doppleganger for you, and they lick their lips in anticipation.
"Makoto, help." He whines, fearful of losing more than just his life tonight.
"Uh, right. Just... give me a second." You ask, quickly trying to salvage the plan in your head. As far as you can sense, Hiroko's heart seems to have split, or even duplicated. Like this, she might as well be two people. However their identical movements and speech indicate they still might share a brain. There must be a tether still connecting them somewhere.

Aside from that, now that you've had a moment to truly observe them, they appear to be smaller in stature. Not quite the 'loli' Hiroko you witnessed before, but definitely shorter. Perhaps they are feeding from something to add to their mass?
Your eyes dart towards the flap of the tent, towards the rest of the beach. Potentially, you still have Mai, Saito, and Cocoa to rely on, as well as Shizuko and Umeki, in the form of backup. Outnumbered for sure, but do you want to risk potentially splitting her further? You're not sure you could deal with four, or eight Hirokos.
"Ready~?" The two ask, lustful sentiment rich on their lips. A part of you wants to scream out 'yes' - after all, it's a threesome between two people, surely she'd approve? Well, foursome if Yuuki joined in, technically - but still only two people!

Welcome to The Lost Island Quest. Last thread our hero, Alan Rodain, defended the settlement of Seaside from giant, fire-breathing beetles. After some tension over monetary payment in his group, Alan met a kindly priest by the name of Father Calloway who rekindled his faith after giving him the power to heal the wounded. Doubt in his new found path began to set in as Alan met with Gilda, the head researcher in Seaside. After conversing with Dolah, his self-appointed guide, and Blackburn about the conflict between his duty as a soldier and his religious concerns, he still holds concerns that he'll fail to live up to the standards of The Great Will. Now, he heads to his hostel to sleep in preparation for the next day's excursion.

Eve and Quissonce are playing cards and Rowe has already gone to sleep. You don't know where Kyra is. Most of the other people are slowly backing away from the two large women arguing, even the guy who is the subject of their argument. You feel bad for him.
“Because I fucking want it. And what's he gonna do about it?”
“You can switch beds with me if it is that important to you.”
“Your bed isn't as nice as his bed. I want his bed.”
“He found it first.”
“Yeah, and the fucking savages on this island found it first. But we need it more. I need a good night's rest more than this sheepfucker.”
“You're not taking this man's bed without a fight. Do you want to sleep with bruises or without?”
Quissonce and Eve look up at this last part. They seem bored and maybe this will prove to be an entertaining distraction.

In the setting I just created, magic is basically a single trick that can be applied to any skill, and the magnitude of it is based on your proficiency in that skill.
When reality in one area becomes too distorted from magic use, it "snaps back" and fucks up the source that caused the most distortion.
This means that raw numbers are more important than anything when dealing with magic users. If the evil wizard causes 2% distortion, you just need 98 people causing 1% distortion apiece to make reality slap him. It might not even need to be people. You could have items that channel magic for this very purpose.

The problem with playing a tank team is that it's difficult to make sure everyone has a reasonably enjoyable job to do. I pity whoever gets forced to play the loader, and while some of the other jobs are more involved, you still have the problem whereby they technically can only do what the commander tells them to do. A tank SQUAD, on the other hand...

Sup guys.
I'm playing a Paladin in an upcoming D&D 5E game (first session is tomorrow), and I've never played one before. We used Standard Array and I wound up leaving Dexterity at an abyssmal 9 (-1).
Now, I wanted to find a way to wrap that into the character. Do you guys think it would be feasible to explain it to the DM as "he is a veteran of a recent war, which claimed his left leg. As a result (and thanks for valiance) a local workshop owner fashioned him a flexible prosthetic leg. He walks with a mild limp, but he can still maneuver around a bit."
For extra details, he's a Human, sword and board, and I took the Shield Master Feat. At Level 3, I plan to take Oath of the Ancients and really start playing on the whole "rooted in place" fighting style.
Thoughts? Tips? Good roleplay opportunities I should look out for?
