Is it reasonable to say that the higher level an adventurer is, the more like it is that their gear and outfit will be extravagant, exotic and personalized? As in, when you're a scrub just starting out you're probably relying on off-the-rack stuff a lot and have to use cheap weapons and armor, but the more experience and gold you amass the better and fancier stuff you can afford?

I feel this would probably also explain why characters in D&D and Pathfinder art have "sexy" armor, they spent a ton of money on having that designed for them.

Plus possibly a bit on nipping and tucking to make their bodies better.


I guess what I'm saying is, is it reasonable to say that adventurers are the celebrities of D&D?

Also, why did no one like Origins besides our continued molestation of baby jace? At least Chandra and Liliana were worth getting a deck flowing. You act like we won't get bolt within the next two blocks.

Any models of yours that seem particularly (un)lucky?

I know this is a common theme in fantasy, but how would it even make sense? It's dangerous, involves fighting a lot of people with pointy sticks and might involve angry spouses and family hellbent on vengeance. Why hunt for a husbando or waifu when you can just pick one up? I'm pretty sure even savages would be allowed into most taverns if they promise to keep the furniture swinging to a minimum. Hell, there might even be peasants who are into barbarians.

So why the popularity of spouse hunts?

So, I'm doing the whole Weapon Affinity instead of weapons doing a set bonus to attack or damage, but I ran into a snag.

Unarmed attacks.

My ideas are as follows:
>Affinity starts at 1/8 and increases for every trait you take
>Affinity is based on your armor/gloves, with certain armors getting different bonuses
>just have Affinity set permanently at some lowish number
>Affinity is based on other Skills, ie Protection affects parry affinity, mobility affects trip affinity, ect.
>Have players build their own Affinity spec when they take the first Unarmed Trait to represent their training have the option to take a new "style" as a new trait/when they take a trait

Right now the last one is what I'm leaning towards, as it sounds the most fun. Thoughts?

How does each race interact with every other race? How do they communicate, why do they interact, anything used to make things easier, etc.

How does each race build their homes? Any particular material, structural design, geographical influences, etc.

Throw a few posts at the world building general whenever they're up too, they're better suited for this stuff.

What kind of affinities do you already have? You could probably just apply a few of them whenever a character is not using a weapon to attack. Otherwise the last option does seem fun, up until a player decides to throw everything into adding Durable, Flexible, and Piercing to his hair and creates a martial art about using the hair on their heads as a weapon.

...that actually doesn't sound too bad, go for it.

We are a separate entity from /tg/ station, we just host our threads on /tg/ as the server was made by fa/tg/uys for elegan/tg/entlemen.

We occasionally run Dorfstation mode, a roundtype where the crew must build up from a bare-bones station. Dorf will be run less often then usual, probably on the first and/or last of every month now. Dorf is ran on a separate server, found at byond://76.16.8.127:28020

Join the server and read the rules and changelog (located at the top right of the game window). The changelog has been cleaned up to show changes starting from the base code of the /nt/ branch.

Code branch from NT (also named d20Station) is updated a few times every week with fixes and new content.
