I've actually done this in a SAVAGE world game. Its really pretty simple.

They consume flesh and bone and convert it to a corresponding synthetic material. Bone is consumed and turned into a super-dense carbon nanotube structure, the brain made into a self replicating and repairing processing unit and the flesh is a sort of nanobot swarm.

Robot kits that retrofit corpses. Newly animated bodies go around collecting dead bodies and retrofitting them. Eventually go about making corpses.

None of this "a bit turns you into one" cliche. They drag bodies off to little impromptu zombie factories. When their populations start getting bug they differentiate and make specialised units for building, collecting, defending, and leadership.

Zombies link to each other wirelessly but have limited range and must build network bridges to extend the network. Bridges are made of giant piles of wired together brains.

Wakshaani confirmed via PM that the iDoll uses the character's skills for weapons when jumped in, and can wear armor and use it at full effectiveness (but it doesn't stack).

The timeline my quest-universe is working in means that heading into December for a Christmas Special would skip too many plot points and get too confusing.

However, I am planning for what I'm hoping will be an interesting one-shot Christmas special not involving any of the ghouls or anons but taking place in the same setting...

The Lords of Shadow are a chapter that focuses on stealth as well as guerilla warfare, using their swift yet devastating strikes to end engagements as soon as possible. Descending from the Raven Guard, they inherited a lot of their parent chapters quirks, yet developed a few of their own. A mutation in their gene seed has caused their skin to become a sickly, pale grey and their eyes to become completely black. Though simply cosmetic changes, the Lords still tend to wear helmets most of the time, in order not to create any unneeded disruptions between them and the more puritan chapters. Cont.

The Lords of Shadow are led by Chapter Master Atlas Elgris who, in contrary with the chapters tactics, goes into battle wearing an ancient suit of golden terminator armor. Though the sheen of the gold has long since dulled, he wears it as a resolution, and to mock the opposing forces. "Here I stand, alone, resolute, content to grind you into the dust beneath my feet. Come at me Xenos, Heretics and Devils, the Emperor protects and I show no fear." When the provocation is met, that's when the full force of the Lords of Shadow strike.

The chapter is used primarily to raid xenos and chaos worlds, preferring to only battle on their own terms. They set the stage with numerous strikes against the planet's infrastructure, bombing and assassinating whom they need in order to sow enough chaos (metaphorical, not literal) so they can strike while the enemy is still trying to collect itself.

The Solar Blades were founded in the 22nd founding, allegedly an Ultramarine successor, they have little ties to the original chapter, bearing none of the iconography nor being close to the chapter in culture. The chapter takes pride in their geneseed purity, but they're quite secretive about it and its composition.

Tactically, the Solar Blades are well versed in most forms of warfare, but specialize in infantry and personal combat prowess. In further divergence form the standard chapter, they're also masters of cooperation, working well with the Imperial Guard, Sisters of Battle, and even the Inquisition to a degree other marines cannot replicate. They refuse to let civilians come to harm if they can prevent it, and this results in them being idolized by your standard imperial citizen.

The chapter puts a great deal of importance on appearance and culture, which furthers their ability to work alongside other imperial forces.

The chapter colors are white and sky blue, and their symbol is crossed swords over a star.

Up to 5 points total in any skill. Specializations cost 1 skill point each, and you can only buy a total of 3 different specializations at character creation. Specializations bought do not have to be for the same skill, but you can put all three into different specializations for the same skill if you want.

What does the Spital look like? I know about the rings, but what are the buildings n shit? The outer ring is pretty much a big tent-town, if I understand correctly, but what buildings stand in the inner rings? Is the Corpus a giant citadel, like the stark tower?

The most popular way to bring characters from different clans together is to have the players all be Emerald Magistrates. Either they already are Emerald Magistrates, or the become them at the start of the game.

And to answer my own question, I kinda want to see more stuff for ronin characters. Their schools are kinda meh compared to clan schools, which can easily be explained as "their schools don't have the centuries of refinement that most clan schools have", but even so I'd like to see more ronin stuff in general, mostly because I like the idea of playing a hero-of-the-people ronin.

One thing that they should do is nail down their position on the Mantis clan and the minor clan alliance in the new canon. Did the Mantis absorb the other clans, or are they still a loose alliance? I personally prefer the first, but the second would also be fine, as long as they make up their mind and stick with it.

Also, if we could lose some of the recent weirdness with the shadowlands and the taint, that would be awesome.

There was my Night, his prev incarnation, his Lunar gurl, the Neomah, and Scarlet Empress which took 4 sessions of backdoor politics, thieving, and general Blessed Isle shit to get the materiel of.
Unfortunately game died four sessions after the kid'd been thrown from the Tower and was only 4.
The original plan included somehow getting UCS and/or Luna stuff but we had to make do with prev incarnation and Lunar gurl.

Not personally, but I working'd five of them to form a giant five-pronged tower called the palm as a humanitarian act in a city state modelled after Brighton (gay capital of the UK) for the poor, otherwise unable to conceive inhabitants.
