It's a bright morning – or, considering how long you slept, early afternoon – and the world is starting to show signs of new life. It's warmer here than it has ever been, with the snow clinging on for dear life and the sky growing lighter. Still the dead of Winter compared with the perpetual warmth found within the fairy kingdom, of course, but perhaps that is to be expected. The cold, either way, does not seem to bother Cernunnos in the slightest – even taking his continued defiance of pants into account.

He stands a fair distance away, leaning on his stone tipped spear as the wind stirs his long, straggly hair into lashing tendrils. Six of his best warriors stand with him, any nobility in their features lost beneath barbarism and feral decorations. With hair woven into filthy dreadlocks and bone totems festooning their wiry frames, they are a perfect match for their leader. At least, you think wryly to yourself, they have yet to discard clothes entirely.

“Mia dear, it's so good to see you up and about,” Elliot tells you, regarding the gathered warriors with a dubious eye, “We've been talking, Joseph and I, and it might be prudent to leave someone behind. Just to, ah, make sure things are kept under control. Leon is well enough to be walking about, now, and we can't ignore the possibility of him...”

Running off, you suggest, does he think Leon is likely to do that?

“Well,” Joseph adds, “He's got history.”

“I volunteer,” Elliot offers graciously, “Don't look so surprised, you two, I've built up quite the rapport with our Scottish friend. We understand each other, I'd like to think.”

Elliot is useful, there's no denying it, but he might have a point. Plus, if the two of them are already friends, it might look less like you're posting a guard.

It's not Japan, don't assume that any part of it is identical to any part of historical Japan. A lot of the details are actually inverted from historical reality, some of it more closely resembles Imperial China, and a lot of it is straight fantasy.

Dragon and/or Unicorn. Monkey if we're talking Minor Clans.

All three for probably the same reasons; they just don't give a fuck.
Dragon are more traditional, but Mirumoto are pretty straightforward and without some of the hangups other Bushi families have
Unicorn because Shinjo is probably the second-nicest family in the Empire.
The Monkey because Fortune Favors the Mortal Man, and because the Toku family is the only one with a noted sense of humor.

>What do you want to see in the reboot?
A timeskip jumping ahead a century or two to explain changes from the CCG.
The broad strokes of the setting kept, but a lot of the stupider elements that largely exist to give CCG tournaments a goal to play for and work as an excuse to let big faction war happen every time a cat farts in one Clan's direction to just be GONE, period.
Rokugan better set-up for adventures (or shugeyosha, or whatever) to go out doing samurai stuff, rather then struggling to find reasons to bring multi-Clan parties together because everyone's always at war at some point for inane reasons.
Less emphasis in the fluff on how each member of every family fits into identical cookie-cutter stereotypes and more emphasis on how within these stereotypes a lot of different individuality can exist despite them.
Someone who actually speaks Japanese a bit to work on the game so we don't see things like entire families unironically named "Otaku" in the fluff.

I don't mind Lost or evil magic conspiracies, but that shit only existed to sell an entirely new "Clan" as a faction that nobody liked and no matter how badly they lost in fluff, they won anyway because almost absurd writer favoritism.

Shourido isn't bad in and of itself, but at least have then get the term right; it's "Shurado".

He was in the SB of the Hatebears deck that top 4'd GP Pittsburgh as a one-of. Bogles has been putting up a lot of results but ffs, it's not like he sees play in Legacy thanks to Maverick being dead

Also, how does /tg/ determine sideboard slots? In decks with draw and manipulation one and two-ofs are fine, but in G/W Hatebears, main and side, everything is a 3 or 4 of because I have no draw power. If you run one and two-ofs that overlap in what they can hate that makes sense, but I feel safer running three-ofs. What does everyone else do?

Everyone except goblins use gold. Goblins use "lings", which are strips of fabric taken from fancy undergarments. As silk and lace and soft materials are rare and precious to them, the goblins have been going into human, elven, and dwarven kingdoms on wild panty raids to obtain as much of the stuff as possible. Depends, which Final Fantasy? Each one is an entirely different world and setting. Crystal based magic seems to play into it in part, but it's not necessary and takes many different forms, from tiny magic beads made out of the world's soul to giant crystals that stop the poisonous air from killing everyone you love and forcing you to recharge them via giant crystal trees that only grow where there's shitloads of monsters.
