Welcome rudebois and rudegyals to the latest edition of Star Wars A New Quest,
Last time on STANQ; learn some martial arts, a few perspective switches, fighting giantesses again and beating them, tattoo, alliances, blonde guard talk, recruit ratboy mixt as translator and your harpy into gang, find out about lamia, work for big guy, leave the prison on work and help bring in a wolf girl and the sister of your harpy, and break up their fight, take the shelter in the yard during a storm and only let certain people in.

I think it might behoove us to ask Shikamaru about the village politics of pursuing a relationship with Kurotsuchi.
We just go up to him, mention we're interested in a girl, and she's probably interested in us, buuuut she's also the granddaughter of the Tsuchikage and has a Kekkei Genkai that isn't really restricted to a clan.

You wake up and eat a somber breakfast with your Uncle, Sasuke and his mother before leaving the Uchiha compound. It isn't raining, but the sky is overcast. A similarly dreary day to the last time you wore your funeral attire three years ago. You head to the site where the ceremony is taking place to see most of the village's ninja gathered. You see picture frames surrounded by flowers for all the victims of the attack. Nearly two hundred in all. Two of the frames in particular have the most offerings. The pictures of Fugaku Uchiha and Choza Akimichi, both the heads of their clan. Sasuke and his mother immediately make their way in the direction of Fugaku's picture. You see nearly every other Leaf ninja you know here as well. Choji and his teammates are with the rest of their clans near Choza's picture, as you'd expect. Most of the rest are just going around paying their respects to all the victims.
Near the podium set up at the front you see the Hokage sitting in a chair, Neji at his side. You can't imagine he's feeling very well, and he doesn't quite look it either. He must be forcing himself to attend.
You do notice some key people missing, most notably Kakashi Sensei. He must still be resting. Tsunade Sensei is also not here, so you assume she is still looking after patients.

"Did anyone from Gallete see you with her, coming in?" Gougere seems concerned.
"Yeah. Axel." You reply, crossing your arms.
She's silent for a minute, and then snaps up to your vision.
"I'm afraid you may have to leave with her, tonight. For Bruschetta."
"No! Gougere don't scare her!" Aligot jumps, seemingly surprised that she would say that.
"What are we supposed to do? Kill Axel!?"
"No! No one is dying tonight!" Aligot grabs her hand.
Sorry Aligot, someone may have to die tonight if you don't start hearing the things you want.
You are Yuuki Kuchinashi, and so far there is no guarantee that you won't kill someone by the end of the night.
Earlier, you found out that a 'princess' of another kingdom may have been trapped in their own dungeon for reasons that no one can seem to provide any adequate answer to. This 'Gougere' person, who is Gallete's archmage, seemed overly emotional upon hearing of her rescue from Gallete's dungeon. She also didn't seem to give a very good explanation as to where she came from, or why she was inside their dungeon.
There was some sob story about having to take care of her and how the King can't keep it in his pants and blah, blah, blah. You don't care about that right now. You want some answers, and some way for her to live without being buried in a dungeon.
"I just don't think she's safe here! Not now!" Gougere seems insistent. "Please! Take her and flee!"
"Biscotti has some of the best security in the world." Aligot presses her. "There is no reason for anyone to be leaving tonight, furthermore the dark roads in the dead of night aren't safe, anyway."
"Then what do we do? Just leave her here in a castle swarming with Gallete generals?!"
"Yes! I'll leave her in Alicot's room, and no one will be the wiser. She can dress her up as a maid so no one is suspicious."

Sup /tg/. I'm hosting a M&M game set in modern day, but with metahumans as a normal facet of life beginning around 60 years ago. Pretty basic premise I think. About 50% of the population has a power of some kind, but most of them are either so slight or specialized as to be little more than a party trick.
What I'd like is a thread with minor powers for average people to have. Not enough for them to really be life changing, but occasionally have bigger ramifications than the person realizes.
As an example, Bart is 20 and works at a coffee-shop. His power is to juggle blueberry muffins with his mind. Eventually Bart will realize he has no limit on the number of muffins he can "juggle" and will become a monster.

Seems pointless at first but then you apply it to a police officer and suddenly criminals are forgetting to run away even though they see him.
Also rather useful in Charades.

Control over the movement of smoke and maybe some gases? Like they can't generate it except by mundane means but they can control any smoke they can see.
Tilda uses it to create interesting scenes and such in an interesting take on Busking, complimenting the stories she tells.
She can also use it to great effect in riots, making herself immune to tear gas and smoke grenades or even use it to obscure cameras while conducting robberies

Clarissa is a seemingly average teenager. However, she has the odd ability to make Emotes appear in real life, sorta like Zero from Borderlands 2.
Her ability makes her an interesting story teller sometimes but she can be quite obnoxious in their usage. Eventually, she will realise theres no limit to their size and they can take whatever shape she wills (so long as she can visualise it) allowing her to create terrifying illusions. However, the illusions only work in 1 direction as they only work in 2d.

You are Tevyr Moongrove, and you’re having a pretty great day.
You’re sitting cross-legged on the bank of a wide, slow river with a makeshift fishing rod in your hands, line cast out. Your tail waves lazily in the air behind you and your eyes are half-closed, enjoying the cool morning air and the calming sound of flowing water, not minding that you haven’t caught anything for the past half hour.
It’s been four years since the discovery of Nexus, and only one year since you arrived along with other hopeful Exile settlers on an aging colony ship. The planet isn’t quite the fabled paradise the stories tell about, but the lush green forest in which you’ve made your home, even if said home is a shack built from spare wood and scraps, is far better than the grey corridors and claustrophobic spaces you’ve had to deal with before.
The other races might have been fine with spacefaring life, but it hasn’t been long since the Aurin were introduced to the space age and forcibly displaced from their home planet. Considering that, you think it’s understandable that so many of you jumped on the opportunity to leave life on the Exile fleet behind.

Not to say members of your race haven’t adapted to the sudden influx of science, you think to yourself as a sound plays out from within your pocket. You reach in and fetch the ringing comms device, a flat palm-sized tablet-like thing that you managed to scrounge together enough coin to buy last week, and tap the screen.
“Moongrove,” you say absently, the fishing rod swaying in your hand.
“Hi Trails!” Replies a distorted voice, familiar cheeriness shining straight the digital warping effect.
In one smooth motion, you get to your feet, pull the device in your right hand away from you, and wind your arm back. Without pause, you flick your arm forward in a hasty throw and the device sails diagonally upward through the air, tracing a wide arc and landing with a faint ‘plop’ in the slow-flowing surface towards the other end of the river.
Just as it disappears under the water, you hear a soft pinging sound in your ear which you recognise far too well as a connection being made to your comms implant. The one you were pretty damn certain you had disabled a month ago.
“A-gent Tra-ils,” says the same voice in a singsong tone.

“I can see you Trails,” the voice speaks again, dragging out the syllables of your name. You look around, and when you crane your neck to the right you notice a large metallic sphere hovering in the distance, probably a metre or so in diameter, partially hidden by branches and leaves. A horizontal crease bisects the sphere into two halves, and in the very center is a small glowing blue light, giving the impression of a robotic eye.
A scanbot. God-damnit.
“... The hell do you want, Snow?”
Your former handler’s voice perks up when you respond. “Hiya Trails! It’s been ages!”
“Please don’t say it’s another job.”
“It’s another job!”
There’s a rustling sound at your feet, and you look down to glare ruefully at your fishing rod as it’s pulled towards the water by an unseen creature. It skips once on the surface before joining your comms device at the bottom of the river with a similar unceremonious splash.
It was a good morning.
