Only once in an ultra-realism game which seemed kind of against the point because it was still fantasy setting. DM just gave a small social and physical penalty if I rolled bad and there were cramps or other annoyances. Also for hygiene purposes, a need to find a way to stifle it, since my character was a sort of ranger survivalist so leaving the group to go into the wild hunting and smelling like blood wasn't a smart idea.

I want new Skaven or Lizardmen models.
I was never all that into Fantasy before Vermintide and Mordheim, but I've looked over the old lore and love some of the old factions.
But most of the Skaven models are garbage.

Well, we have one more week of fyreslayers after this with the last two heroes still to come. We don't tend to get concrete leaks (i.e. pictures) two weeks out, but rumours from late last year are suggesting 40k once the fyreslayers are done (though the rumourmongers can't agree whether it's guard or yiffmarines).

I only play the core AoD missions with my group. Maelstrom of War was fun a couple times then just became too random. Planning on doing a Conquest campaign soon so we might do the raid missions.

What would everyone say is the ideal amount of points in an AoD game? I've got one list at 2500 and one at 3000, but I'm curious as to what others think.

Starting discussion off, anyone ever play with the old Undead roster that included a Vampire?

Seems like having a player like that would have pretty dramatically changed the play style of the team.

Is it me or is diving tackle great on linedwarfs? Most teams, if they aren't super bashy, would rather run away than push him away if there's a lot of guard around. They already start with tackle so it's even better. And nobody expects a diving dwarf.

Then, over a few years, you use propaganda to convince everyone that you were divinely appointed and that you are the perfect ruler.

Now that the default assumption is that you're going to be crafting Courts specific to your Chronicle, have you had any good ideas for Courts?

I really want to finally hammer down the Collegiate Courts I came up with, since I like supernatural settings around colleges.

I also want to fluff out the Courts of Lost Vegas. The idea that the Lost's familiarity with fickle fate has made them the dominant force in Las Vegas tickles my fancy, so I want to stat out the Courts of Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades.
