Why am I seeing people that want to run PL 4 or less games in fucking MUTANTS AND MASTERMINDS so frequently on other sites? Are people just assuming PL works like levels in DnD? Or are they so afraid of players being able to do cool stuff because they're paranoid and don't know how to create scenarios other than combat or even just make a few adjustments to their villain? This seems like the best place to discuss my idea. I was planning on running a game based the premise that Super Heroes would look more like Monsters from the DnD Monster Manual and how that would affect the world. Obviously, it's going to be set in a D.C. Aligned world rather than Marvel. I don't know if I'm putting my thoughts out right, but I'd like to follow a theme of "A New Age of Myth and Monsters"
If it helps, I had the idea that a !Superman character might have a resemblance to a Dragon and then build out from there. Have players justify how they were raised, what they do when they aren't superheroing and can't exactly blend in, how they'd win the trust of the public and the !Justice League.

I've actually been running a fantasy game in MnM for several sessions, and planning on running a game in a modern setting myself. It works pretty well considering you don't have the nitpicky stuff of some "other fantasy systems".

You might want to try Compartmentalized Mind or Extra Attack for this, or some combination of all three. Might work better.

This is a pretty decent limitation on Warp. Accessibility: warp to created sculpture only -20%. Nuisance effect: destroys sculpture in process -5% if you can only warp to a created sculpture

I'm having a difficult time understanding your post. From what I understand, you want duplicates that spawn behind people, stab them, then disintegrate after two seconds into whatever base material they were borne from. It's probably some form of Ally or Duplication.It's also a real bitch to stat up. It'd be a lot easier if the bodies disintegrated after attacking, so it could just be an innate attack with the surprise attack modifier from Power-Ups Enhancements/Powers.

The players are colonists on a ship headed towards their colony destination. The journey is 250 years. They were born after the ship departed, they will die before the ship arrives. The ship cannot change direction and is automatically driven. The players are not in command or high ranking roles.

I ran something similar. It was basically pic related in space with dashes or Mad Max, Pandorum, Event Horizon, Alien, the Expanse, and the Matrix.

Are Solarians the most confusing class? Took me several re-reads to notice revelations can be used out of combat (you just don't get attunement bonuses). A lot of the revelations don't make sense to use in combat, meaning you'll never see their attuned version (eg Astrologic Sense - sure let's cast Augury in the middle of combat to see an additional 30m into the future). Some revelations seem like traps - why get Gravity Boost at level 2, which upgrades at 6th level to Spider Climb, when you could skip that and get Defy Gravity = Fly at level 6?
