So Konami just annihilated the secondary Yugioh market. Prices for most things are set to plummet, letting anyone build the most competitive deck for a fraction of the old price.

Players are happy, since $40 staples are set to drop to $5, but vendors are fucking pissed.

Do you think such a reprint strategy is smart?

mtg should do this with reserved list cards

Why would it not be smart?
cards are a game, not actions for speculators

That is pretty much what is happening
Most of the card in there are the staplest of staples or pure cardboard powercreep

A space marine chapter is devastated and only one marine survives. Does he join another chapter or what?
56 posts and 7 images submitted.
>>
>>45670357
No.

Different geneseed. Different culture.

The Deathwatch is the best option.
>>
Most likely he either joins the Deathwatch permanently as a Black Shield or goes solo on a penitent crusade for the rest of his life.
>>
>>45670357
As others have said, he may join the Deathwatch, or it's possible he might join up with a close Successor Chapter as a specialist of some sort (A Crimson Fist would join up with the Imperial Fists) though he would likely retain much of his original iconography and armor.

You can also do what I did and, if the Space Marine in question is saved from death by an Inquisitor, and the Inquisitor in question offers you vengeance on who killed your brothers, you can become a quasi-legal Inquisitorial Space Marine who gets all the good shit the Inquisition provides while still getting to be a Space Marine and punch heretics in the throat.

He actually is extremely conflicted about his decision to join up with the Inquisitor. He doesn't feel like being an Interrogator is beneath him, and truly believes that he's helping people and serving the Imperium, but being a one-man hit squad and wearing the Inquisitorial Rosette over his chapter colors never quite settles with him. He also gets treated awkwardly by other Marines, even those of his related Chapters, who don't know how to treat him - some pity him, some respect him, some hate him, all because he's not doing what a normal Space Marine should. It's getting to his head and he's throwing himself into combat more and more recklessly, and the Inquisitor is beginning to realize that he ultimately can't truly control his Astartes asset

Everyone I've talked to had their own interpretation for alignments. I want to settle this. The scenario is

"A warrior walks into a new town..."

How does that warrior act for each alignment?

Depends on character of the warrior.

Lawful Evil doesn't quite make sense to me. Laws usually protect little man and all this, taking advantage of them is usually against spirit, if not letter. And if you set laws yourself, what's the difference from chaotic?

Welcome one, and I welcome you all to the tale of a world called Thespia.

Here is the odyssey of one that clings to this world with no face of their own! In a place where magic is fundamental to all of creation, all who live wear their lives upon their face, where a fire might wish to be the cooking fire of an inn!

The Faceless overcame the tyrant lord of Bikel, Stephan Grant, son of Mikael Grant. Thus, while wearing the face of the vengeful spirit "The Reaper of Aurel" otherwise known as Dramir, a story in the world of Thespia comes to an end as a hero arrives to deliver the accursed Guisi from their fates of enslavement and labor.

Yet despite this success, a shadow of doubt looms upon the horizon as the Reaper claimed victory from Lord Grant whilst in his Arche's true form, a secret kept by the Guisi at all costs for fear of true persecution at the hands of other Thespians.

Yet the curtain has closed upon that story and a sibling pair grow restless as they hear the whispers of the Guisi elders and their intent to make the Reaper disappear to ensure that there are no loose ends.

"We will not see our work undone."

>[Interlude]

Lurking among the trees of littkle hamlet of Pruden's south woods, Prudenia a figure clad in darkness's ambiguity watches over the dancer and her party as they walk the the livingwood homes. From its vantage point, and with subtle movements of whispy ears, it listens in from afar as this party heads towards the task they were told to perform.

In watchful, lonely silence, it is there, observeing from the shadows, giving neither a peep nor drawing ever a breath too strong....

[End interlude]

Sol shines his morning light through the parting in the leaves that serve as window shades. The interior of this livingwood home is like nothing you've ever seen: the furniture, tables, chairs are all seemingly molded out of the floor of this treeborn home, covered in a powdery bark that's ever so slightly moist for coolness and comfort. Where there might have been a carpet, the bark changes thickness and texture, where there are cabinets, they seem welded shut until Teraca approaches and seems to “ask” the tree to open the door as it opens like a fold rather than upon a hinge.

As the three of you sit, your host pours you a sparkling, bubbling tea into cups of the same living wood, fizzling ever so slightly with excitement. You take a sip, and the sweetness washes over your tongue with bursts of rich fklavor, bringing a warmth to your heart and cheeks.
Once everyone is served, Teraca sits down in silence, peering up at everyone from underneath a black cowl that covers the tresses of her hair and lets only her the bottoms of her eyes, down to her neck show. You can make out a swirling floral pattern weave its way across her face, sprouting from her eyes, and all the way down the reaches of her neck, standing pink, red, and white against slightly green skin.

The woman smiles at you all, the sad smile of a worried mother as the awkward silence in the room grows deafening. Biz seems to still be unable to relax from the run in with Dire wolves as he fidgets in his seat, and Odette, while none the worse for wear seems to defer the talking to you; likely she feels too close to the subject matter.

Your name is Amy Nakamura, a 17 year old void Oni, and right now you’re talking with a Troll. Capital T, bigger than a fucking truck, Troll. His name is Charles and except for a brief outburst, he’s rather polite. He also just asked you what you are, because apparently to everyone, you smell like an Ogre. You really have no idea how to deal with this, your entire child hood is in shambles. Trolls were always the worst of the fantastical creatures in the world, they’d lie to your face about eating your dog and then they’d proceed to eat your kid. They weren’t supposed to be able to hold a conversation either, or have names, or really be comparable to humanity. This is a whole new experience, a boogeyman from your (and everyone’s) childhood, gone. At least that’s how it appears on the surface, you’re getting weird vibes from him, as if he’s…. Holding himself back? You spare a quick glance Trish and notice that she’s been slowly moving backwards, she must have noticed it as well. The question remains, how are you going to handle the situation? You could always just answer his question and play along, or you could be direct and ask him why a Troll is having a regular conversation.

>Keep the current status-quo and answer his question

>Propose that he has to answer a question first (What?)

Last time a wedding went down and a mishap during the honeymoon led to a very magical realm. Upon exiting the MCs found themselves deep in republic turf which they easily escaped.

Alas they have yet to fix the problem besides that one which occurred upon the exiting...

So until then research was done and money was made.

What do?

The desiccated, bandaged corpse slowly makes its way towards you. Not the shambling gait of a zombie, but a regal stride filled with ill intent. Its heavy footsteps thunk heavily on the floor despite the soft padding provided by its bandaged feet. The smell of death is absurdly lacking as earthen smells waft their way into your nostrils.

Gabby has made it up to her hands and knees to the left side of the room. She's covered in dust and bits of tomb, a stream of stone falling onto her from where the wall crumpled from her impact. Dolah, on the right side of the room, uses her lucerne hammer to help prop herself up. They're both reeling from the creature's strength, trying to regain their bearings. The rest of your allies are more than likely as stunned by the monster's gaze as you are. You can't tell however, as your senses have entered a sort of tunnel vision, with the fast approaching undead as your focus.

It towers over you by a full foot, stopping in front of you with a sickly smile plastered on its face. In spite of your trembling you cannot will your body to move. Its hands come to rest gingerly on your shoulders, a delicate touch that contrasts with the violent actions you are sure will follow. You smell the sweet, scented oils now.

It wraps its hands around your neck, about to crush your windpipe if you don't snap out of this paralyzed state of terror soon.

Who snaps you out of it?

What could be some problems faced when you have a metal ore that is completely weightless but still has mass (I. E. Unaffected by gravity)? How would you refine it? How would you transport it? How would you forge it? For stability sake just use the density and mass of iron.

>Nerd Poker
I was really surprised by how dull that podcast is most of the time considering how much I normally like the comedians involved. Any episode with Thomas Middleditch is good though.

My favorites:

>One Shot
They play a lot of lesser known games and the ones where they play Everyone is John are gold.

>Unspeakable!
Mythos gaming essentials often featuring the creators of Delta Green.

>RPPR
Really good actual plays of a wide variety of games.

>Harmontown
Honorable mention because there is only about 20 minutes of /tg/ material per episode, the quality of which is highly dependent on how drunk the hosts are but Spencer is an inspiration.

The completion of the grain store is long awaited and now that the planting has finished, you have plenty of willing hands to help you finish. The floor is a little thick to drill holes in in the same manner you prepare something smaller, so instead, sticks are sunk into the ground and woven once they are at the same height as the floor. Logs leaned against the outside of the oblong structure give it a great deal of strength, as mud daubed on the wicker frame makes it proof against the weather. A thick roof of straw thatch is added and Mesut soon oversees moving the village's grain inside, stored in woven wicker baskets.

>Your capacity to store grain has been doubled to 80!

With the remainder of the month, you spend your time eagerly selling the tribe on the idea of a great temple to the gods of the wild, telling them that it will surely bring blessings upon the entire village as the gods are pleased by their labour. The sheer scale of your proposed undertaking leaves many stunned and Mesut in particular points out just how much work and resources it will take to make anything close to what you're proposing, when there's so much more that could be done for the village! Never the less, the groundwork has been laid, while not physically, at least in people's minds; the place it matters most.

>The Grand Temple of the Wild still requires 381 labour points to complete

Here we go boys! Fucking Quest 3, and we got some sick-ass PvP that's probably barely as functional as the rest of this horror show of a text based game.

It's been 200 years since the Dragon was slain and the God of Fate got his shit usurped. Turns out, a dwarven god of getting killing shit and getting laid doesn't get along well with an edgy God of Fate.

>WAR!!!

Goal is to choose an opponent and roll a d100 against his, highest number wins (with faction rule exceptions, but we'll get there in a second baby-cakes).

You have three factions to choose from:
>Comrades of Fate
Acolytes of Vladimir Komissarov, God of Fate, Anti-Capitalism, and Street Smarts
>Bearded Bushwhackers
The elite of Urist Vampbeard, the Living God-King, Dragon Slayer, and Ruiner of Princesses' pussy smashing army
>Bloodletters
These guys are just in it for a fucking free-for-all, killing each other and everybody else

Each faction gets bonuses:
>Comrades of Fate
- Instant win if you roll dubs (Ex: Rolled 22)
>Bearded Bushwhackers
- Re-rolls for single digit rolls
>Bloodletters
- Balls of steel
- Add +1 to your roll

>You are name-fagging this, make it good!

>First, roll your character:
http://whothefuckismydndcharacter.com/
And declare your faction!

>Second, choose an opponent of an opposite faction, unless a Bloodletter, (first to the party may roll without a chosen opponent if none applicable are available).

>Third, roll a d100. Be aware of your faction bonuses!

>Fourth, figure out the fucking winner! Losers are dead and gone, winners keep fightin' and winnin'!

Track your wins on each post.

The gods themselves may show up to the party. If you roll against a god, only a perfect 100 can win, faction bonuses DO NOT APPLY!
Gods may not challenge opponents, only be challenged.

I'll be keeping track of the kills for each faction with occasional score updates.
>Get hard, fuckers! Good luck
