This place is sooo warm and soft. I smile happily, flapping my wings and scattering silvery dust all over the blankets and pillows around me, sparkling for a second before its shine dies out. I run my hands under a bunch of blankets, trying to curl up with out catching my chitin on anything while my fiery eye lights up the dark room, throwing away the shadows in the pillow fort me and Minor made as I roll over and stare at the blanket "roof".
I didn't know how much I missed being able to just lay around and sleep all day. I chuckle, running a hand over the chitin on my arm, until I touch the moth like fur poking out of the end of it, getting more of the dust on my hand.
And then, for no reason, Panic grips my heart and I feel a sense of impending doom. I bolt up right, and look around in a panic, my eye making the shadows stretch and vanish as I try and stop myself from running in fear. and then just like that it's gone, like a taking off a backpack and tossing it a way.
I blink, looking at the little "Nest" Minor made for herself in the corner, as Blue chitters and chatters in her sleep, clacking her tongue as she lays on top of a pile of pillows.
Wait? Blue, when did she get here? I scratch my head, trying to remember...oh yeah, she had nightmares, and asked me what they were, so I just sort of let her sleep in here...took an hour or two to make her let go of me, I'm actually kind of surprised that I didn't wake up to see her laying on top of me to be honest.
"Such a strange thing, those dreams she spoke of" Little green says flatly, somewhere outside of the fort "I couldn't fathom dealing with them, sound oh so much worse than any hunger, even the eternal sort, hehehe"

How come Pauper isn't a more widespread format in paper? Considering the amount of people who want to play a non-rotating format but also have budget constraints, you'd figure i'd be more common to see in stores and tournaments?

Yeah, this unfortunately. If they changed the rules to only include cards that were never printed at any rarity other than common, and had a banlist, it'd work great and be the best format in the game. As it is, the meta is more stale than year-old bread, but it makes for a good casual/kitchen table format since it's cheap and gentleman's agreements can keep it from being stupid.

Even with the increasing supernatural phenomenae, Grandton seemed to hold out without assistance from the myriad Churches or government agencies that had sprung up in the aftermath of the Weakening...
You suppose their luck just failed them eventually.
You are Junior Exorcist Marcus for the Church of the Forbidden Spirit. Grandton has recently experienced what the government calls a "Class III Spiritual Event" and what you call a good old fashioned Haunting. Long story short, a large amount of spirits have taken up residence in Grandton.
It's your job to stop them, and rescue any survivors.

How do you balance Werewolves and Vampires?
It's seems like between the esoteric magic, hypnotism, and ability to make hundreds of thralls Werewolves don't stand a chance.
Hell one could argued without the crippling effect of being vaporized by the sun Werewolves could operate easier and gain more power without having a easily discernable pattern to mortals. But beyond that what do they have super speed, strength, and reflexes once a month? Hell some incarnations of Vampire also get that for free
So how do you balance them? Also how do you have them in your personal setting?

I prefer my Wolfman and vamps to be able to be in their supernatural forms at will, or at least functional powers at night. Werewolf are the big YUGE brawlers that will maul your shit, while a vampire would rely on shadows and magic to shove a sword up your ass.
Other than that, the usual weaknesses and powers, except for the control of forms.

Went to a FLGS and remembered that it is actually a thing. I saw big fucking goddamn gundam robots named Imperial Knight, i went into the shop asked the seller and it is actually a regular army.
A few minutes later after a quick game demo i was back home with 5 knights + army book.
Is this any good ingame ?
I saw multiple combined list online but nothing with only knights. i don't care about competitiveness, but is it enjoyable with just knights ? How should i build them ?
Also, the art in the book is fucking good, is this art available online in QHD for my phone ?

I have a friend who only has a dmpc because the rest of the party is borderline chaotic stupid and he's the balance so they don't kill themselves.. Why the hell are there five in their game.

Three of them are Changelings to help take the party into the hedge, one's a detective that is helping us find someone and one's a Mage that's to help with the macguffin.
The Mage is pretty useless, the whole party is getting dicked with those Oath things Changelings make but she's not using her 5 dots of Fate to actually do anything.

So I will be running a Supers game for my group (likely M&M 2e) soon and wanted to know if you guys have any advice regarding the pitfalls of the superhero genre being brought out in RPG format. Tropes that work tropes that don't work. Ruinous powers you wouldn't expect. That kinda thing.

Superheroes are my favorite subject matter of any form of consumable media, so I don't want for material to pull from. But bringing the unspeakably broad genre to life at the table requires expectations to be set and tone established so that everyone is on the same page. I like 2e better as a ruleset. It includes lethality and knockback in the base rules and includes a firm graduated damage benchmark as well as human limits scored out. This may be largely synthetic but it additionally feels like your points go further in 2e for a more personalized character sheet. Comparing a 3e sheet to a 2e sheet, 3e just has less to say about your character.
NIGGLING PERSONAL PREFERENCE. But I am open to convincing.

How do you run games, /tg/? How do you like them ran for you?
A) I make the party to win. They basically can't lose.
B) I plan for the party to win. They can 'fall forward' into victory as long as they don't do multiple obviously dumb things.
C) I don't really plan that far ahead.
D) My players fail more often than they succeed.
E) Other. Probably some kind of bullshit like "My players come out ahead with a little clever planning but would otherwise fail, yet inexplicably always succeed."

I make my games fair and balanced. I play with my players not against them. I just make the way to victory challenging and interesting. If they rush ahead or do something stupid I will punish them, if they role-play well and solve the problems clever I reward them. In the end I'd love to see them win but if they fail - they fail. No fixed rolls or sudden saves.
In the end a lose can be the opening to a new adventure.

What is your local Meta running? What are you playing? Are you combating the 4 color fun-times menace?
I've got a story and questions to kick it off:
I played my first standard event at my LGS recently, and I had a pretty good time. I've only played pre-release events before, so actually playing a structured event was really enjoyable.
I encountered a red-goblins deck (the only deck there that wasn't 4 colors besides my own), 2 meme-rhino decks, and a reflector-mage+Eldrazi displacer deck. I lost all my sets but won 2 matches using my UB Eldrazi ingest/proccessor.
I learned a lot from my first experience about my deck, and made some adjustments to it's structure accordingly, but I need some help finding what to put in my side board (and the deck itself).

Just play a ruthless and clannish individual. You are friendly and loyal with your party and certain NPCs but view strangers as threats and/or worthless.
Be the one who suggests the callous option, the ends justifies the means type. Have no problem with slitting throats to protect yourself and the party and accept the fact that sometimes you'll have to go behind their back to protect them, to do the things that they aren't willing or capable of doing.
When I was a kid I knew two brothers, one was an absolute sweetheart who wouldn't hurt a fly. As a result he was bullied mercilessly until his older brother stepped in and beat the bullies half to death with a baseball bat.
His brother, if he'd pursued a proportional response would have been viewed as a hero. But he didnt, he put two kids in comas because he was just a bigger bully who happened to have a soft spot for his little brother.
You are your parties moral muscle, willing to do the things they won't or can't in order to achieve your shared goals.

If his cousin must die so be it. If the Kingdom must fall into a civil war to give him an opening he will do it. If a foreign monarch is offering his rightful titles if he assists him in conquering his homeland he will do it.
