Depends on the level of realism you're going for. It would absolutely be too large in a 100% realistic medieval setting, but in most settings where people are capable of borderline superhuman feats, it's fine.

Just finished my Decimator and trial TIE Fighter, and I'm pleased with how it's come out. I'm at least confident enough now. to start the other ships.

Okay, so I'm going to reveal how much of a total noob I am and ask about primer.

I did read through most of the provided not-Citadel painting guides and they talk about base coats and spray guns and the like. Can I just get a spray can of primer and use that as my base coat and just layer on top of it?

I'm not going for the top-quality paint jobs I see on here and in the GW catalog, so is it acceptable to just do that? Plus I have shaky hands. The number of models I have where the eyes are off to the side of where I was trying to paint is legion.

I guess so, just be careful to spray correctly.

However, since basecoats are so easy to correct, and so big, you can go ahead and use your brushes for that.

Finally, apart from obvious eyes like eyes lenses, most small eyes can be left dark, just apply some washes and highlights in the right place and you'll be good.

They can but it's more dangerous than taking a drop pod. Drop Pods make it so they can automatically come in turn one and don't teleport into a wall and die.

Several. Hero Forge, for one, generates custom 3D-printed minis and their website software allows you to really look at and get a feel for the figure you're building.

Here is the summary of what we rolled, and one thing we decided

Founded in the 34th millenium, our chapter were created to crusade against the Imperiums enemies(allegedly), however it is unknown to the Imperium and indeed the chapter itself as to who our progenitor is, though they vehemently believe they are succesors of the Imperial fists. In truth, they were created with the Gene seed of the Alpha Legion who paraded themselves as elements of the Imperial fists third company whilst forming the chapter, a belief the chapter holds dear aand true from the hypno therapy and harsh indoctrination they use in recruitment. For unknown reasons, the Alpha legion made them in the guise of the fists.

They believe in purity above all, and yet their own gene seed is flawed hyper-stimulating the Omophagea of many brothers and leading to the creation of their strnge and esoteric and mysterious Chapter culture. In legend, the former Captain of the fists third company slew a Daemon prince and led the chapter through many harrowing battles, in truth he was one of the Alpha Legion masquerading as an Imperail fist, as all the founding members were.

Their homeworld is a feral ice world, which they only distantly 'rule'. Perhaps their mysterious creation is to blame for thei somewhat divergent chapter organization, their focus on ranged combat lends them specially modified bolters unique to their chapter. Their chapter badge involves a creature who features heavily in all their iconography.

Currently, they are an endangered chapter, only a handful remain after(TBD). They are allied with a Navigator house and have a fierce hatred for the Chaos marines of (TBD)

40k loses to everything, not simply because it's weak in ever manner that matters, but because it is poorly designed and retarded from every practical standpoint.

Jedi are equivalent to Psykers in the 40gay universe, and wield powers that 99/100 Space Marines simply can't do anything about. The only faction where the average member beats the Jedi is the Grey Knights - against everyone else, the Jedi should win 7/10.

Requesting a drawing of the woman on the right, dressed up in then robes on the top left, though with more of the color scheme of the image on the bottom left. Since the last thread closed before that kind drawfriend could finish my picture or he lost interest and gave up I'd like to request my Kobold Paladin, Dugh.

Description: Your standard Kobold wearing "Paladin armor" that's actually just made of scraps, giant pauldrons and all. A "warhammer" made from a stick with various bits of metal stuck to it. A bunch of scars and such on dark grey scales from years of "bravely" charging into the fray, only for the fact that he's a two foot tall lizard to prevent any real "Paladin" work. Maybe a poorly scribbled "holy symbol" on his "shield" and some goggles to protect his poor, sensitive Kobold eyes from the sun.

Sorry if that description is a little too much, I was told drawfriends like a lot of detail in requests.

There is no way in hell that those are weighted properly at all. It's sad that GameScience makes the best dice and there is still plenty of room for improvement and people just want to make gimmicky shit instead.
