Isn't this a massive disadvantage over camo? Or are the conflict so huge that it doesn't matter?

Earth-like terrain is not the only terrain in the galaxy. But keep painting your green forest camos and tan desert camos.

It would be fucking bad on the terrain the mini has as a base, though.

Other planets very well may have extremely bright-colored flora. There's literally no reason this can't be camo on another planet.

It also depends on the system too. Depending on whether the magic is intelligence based or not. I generally take that to mean that there are some complex numbers. Though intelligence could also be used for mental puzzles and philosophical shit too, so...

I'm gathering a group, might end up with 3 people. What are the absoltely necessary roles in a run team, hacker, mage, face?
>>
>>46398459
In shadowrun, you can generally do ~2 things out of chargen well, since you've got a small group you should probably double up on rolls.
For example, shamans make excellent face characters because they both use charisma for drain resist and use charisma for face-based stuff.

A dead killy street samurai can also be an infiltrator, because both of them rely heavily on AGI, and being able to shoot your way out if you get detected is also good.

Deckers can easily double up as a rigger if needed, since both are LOG based and the rules overlap somewhat.

A Drone Is Fine Too.jpg

/srg/, I have been inspired by you, now I need your help: How do I into AI in 5e, specifically a metasapient rigger?

Some guy a couple threads back was asking about anthro drones, and I want to make an AI rigger with a bunch of Ares Duelists in a GMC Bulldog to provide support for a gunslinger adept I know is going to be in an upcoming game (along with other walker drones for spy purposes). Looking at the qualities, Multiprocessing feels like a good one to manage multiple viewpoints and co-ordinating efforts, but I don't know if I should have an RCC as a home console, or Pilot Origins for the control rig-esque boost (or both?)

Any suggestions or tips? Is it worth upgrading Duelists with hands to hold guns? Is there a better anthro combat drone in Rigger 5 I'm missing? Why is there no good art of Duelists?

I don't understand WotC's design decisions for MtG.

Last set they put all this emphasis on specific cards that produce and require anus mana and then they release cards like this in this set, which allow you to produce that sort of mana whenever you like. Why do their decisions always seem to be self-destructive?

Nice b8

In case you're serious, you cannot produce colorless with that cryptolith rite. You can only produce one of the 5 *colors* as it says on the card. As to wizards' retarded design decisions, who the fuck knows, 90% of the time they're retarded

What do they accomplish by making colorless mana exempt from this? Also, assuming you're right, it doesn't mention five colors at all. It says 'any color' which has to include the new mana symbol as well.

Mount Paozu. Thousands of miles from the world's giant capital city, far away from civilization of any sort. A remote place where fierce creatures rule and normal humans dare not tread. Sadly, you and your brother weren't told that when the creator had you deposited here. Now you're both stranded in the wilderness, with only the phrases "kill the dirty space monkey," "grow up to be blue," and "despise me forever" to go by, courtesy of Dad.

Dad is kind of an asshole, in retrospect.

You sigh and turn to your brother, lamenting your lot in life. And your lack of direction. "Conclusion: We're lost."

"Rebuttal: We're not lost! We just... need to find landmarks! Or something..." he tries to reassure you. Unconvincingly. He focuses his cybernetic eyes to get a better view of the area. This planet's star has not finished rising, so it is fairly early in the morning, you both estimate.

"Entrenchment: Brobot, I'm pretty sure dad's abandoned us here. We are going to live out the rest of our days on some backwater planet. Which might not be long if what he said was true..." you grumble as you play Bemineraled in the corner of your HUD.

"Pleading: Aw come on! He wouldn- okay yeah, he probably did," your brother concedes.

This sucks. Fuck you, Dr. Myuu. Discarding the two of you because you are no longer useful for his war against the meatbags. Oh, you shall show him just how useful you are when it comes to killing meatbags...

But, first thing's first, what were your names again?

>The small Transport Starship you have docked with contains bodies, (it looks like it will be a salvage after all) the poor sods seem to have suffocated inside of their spacesuits but the Atmospheric systems are online and charged, incoherent scribbling’s speaking of a Plague cover the walls. The air-work comes back clean.

>The Nobles Mansion seems rather homey, it certainly can't be worse than sleeping at the Inn, and he did offer it. Upon closer inspection however the party realize that the suits of armour decorating the mainhall are occupied, the poor sods inside have had their faces removed through brutal surgery.

>The Farmstead have been ruined, it seems the tribal savages have gone to town, their gruesome displays are there for all to see: Heads mounted on pikes, bodies thrown into piles of rotting food and slaughtered farm-Animals a small shrine have been built out of the detritus outside, a perfectly cleaned skull sits at the center, picking it up and the muscle begins to re-grow, eyes rotting back into existence as a shrill scream echoes from the head.

>A trip to the dwarf-planet to collect a sample for the researchers, the quasi-organic substance is not hard to find at all as it covers a large chunk of the asteroid, once inside the air of the ship the thing seems to wilt and die, even better. That night the airlock begins acting up and they discover a tiny sliver of the material have found its way into the circuitry, suitable reprimanded about its dead nature the captain doubles up on the quarantine, later the same day it turns up in the ships mess growing on a wall. A thorough search of the ship reveals nothing, but the surveillance shows tampering and the material keeps showing up in unexpected places.

A plumbing accident reveals the inside of the water pipes are coated in the substance.

The crew has been drinking the water for days.

“Welcome to Kuat, Admiral.” A protocol droid takes your bags and leads you down the brilliantly lit halls of Kuat’s shipyard rings. “It is good that you came. Your fleets have already been assembled and are awaiting your orders, sir.”

You wonder if there’s anything to actually do except wait.

“Unfortunately not sir,” says the droid. Damn. “Your secretary ship is awaiting you outside your quarters, she will provide you further information of your role here on Kuat. Hopefully we can those beasts out of the galaxy with you around, sir!” Well, he knows precisely how to stroke your ego. Not that you want to appear like a braggart.

Okay, maybe you want to appear like a braggart a little. Not every Admiral in the Imperial Navy gets to the command Fleet Girls.

The droid leads you on to your quarters. And there you see a blue-skinned woman with red eyes and sharply cut black hair awaiting you. Judging by her outfit, they don’t seem to regulate things here too much.

You won’t complain. Nay, you’ll –encourage- it if the shape and size of her chest is any indication.

“Fair day, Admiral.” She offers her hand. “Chimaera. I am your secretary ship.” Her eyes flit up and down your body. Hm. “I oversee the operations of all Fleet Girls for you aboard Kuat. Currently, we have enough active and healthy girls to form two fleets. Unfortunately, Vengeance and Assessor are out in the repair docks due to damage sustained and won’t be available for some time.” You’ve never even heard of those ships so obviously they must not be important.

Well, charmed to meet you, Chimaera. Your eyes quickly glance down at her chest. Doubly charmed. She quirks her brow at you, then gives a very faint smirk. “Shall we unpack your things, Admiral? Or is there something you wish to see before I give you the full situation?”

Part 1
Well /tg/ I'd say its about story time, and to begin, this story does have a moral.
Don't Trust the Tiefling. Ever.

This story involves a full party, though focuses on a pair of characters. Xun'istkiira, the tiefling, played by yours truly, and Catalina Rosewater, a female human duelist played by my buddy Midnight.

The rest of the group consisted of a Human Cleric of Kelemvor, a Kalashtar Psion focused on Kineticist's dicipline (Evoker equivalent). There were additional members to come and go from the adventure, though for these stories, we are focusing on the pair.

The campaign began in a rather simple manner. We started out in the slums of one kingdom and were hired on by the city watch to investigate a missing person, who happened to be one of their own that went missing during a mission in the sewers.

Eventually (after fighting off some cloakers) we came upon a ledge. Half of the party had fallen / hopped / jumped down, leaving the new player Midnight and myself remaining up on the ledge.

Our new player leaned over the ledge and called down to them "Hey, are you guys alright?"

To which, I calmly said from behind him (as I gave him a 'gentle nudge' from behind) "I don't know, why don't you go find out."

The ring of feather-falling that he was wearing saved him from taking any damage, but at the same time, allowed him to slowly see where he was falling.

A river of raw sewage.

>>
>>46365805 Part 2
After safely joining the group down there myself, we continued along, our duelist taking point (to stay away from me presumably). He got ambushed by six chokers.

After they lifted him about another fifteen feet into the air I managed to get into the fray, followed in short order by our Kineticist (nuker). I promptly killed one of them.

The Kalashtar nuker proceeded to nuke the other five in one blast (thus earning my psion's respect), while simultaneously causing the duelist to fall once more...into the river of sewage, and instead of infecting him with some rancid disease due to his wounds, our DM deemed that his character now had a shit-stained soul.
>>
That is the first part of the adventure.
I suspect Midnight will be on here soon to continue the story with the next major events of our misadventures. Including when we started a rebellion in a country's capital while said country was on the verge of full-scale war...because the high-lord of said country was a dick.
>>
>>46365883
my part of the story. after the kick and the shit stain soul i started to plot my revange. after a while i gave up and thus the universe provides.

so my charter back story was she had been in a dual with a high Noble and Me and the DM roll it out. i kill her by mistake. thus i was on the run from that family. now the noble family was randomly rolled. there were a few so i was hopping for a lower house. my luck was the one running the country. so my charter was dressing like a man to keep from being decovered by the them.

so now that all importon to the story. so we been given the task to cause trouble in the city for these noble and then over throw them. to say we did our job well is an understatement.

First we kill a few and then with a few hats of desighes we fooled the rest into inter fighting. now Xun Mikael charter was great at making statues.

I'm building a costume for the renaissance festival I go to multiple times every year. And I want you guys to give me some advice on what would go good with the pieces I post. Hopefully that's /tg/ related, haha. To keep it more traditional game oriented let's also say this is a LARP outfit thread.

My budget is about $650 dollars and I already have a suit of butted steel chainmail I got off amazon a few years ago. It's held up very well for how much I paid for it. Some rings loosen every now and then, it being butted and all, but I inspect it before and after each outing and close up any rings that have loosened. Riveted chainmail is just too expensive, even riveted aluminum sets, for my budget. The majority of my budget is going to the steel armor pieces and leather chest I'm looking at.

I'm going for a sort of "witch-hunter" or simple free-lancer type of look.

pic related is a chest piece I'm considering. My only gripe is that the neck might be too high to let a gorget fit comfortably.

The arm guards. They're simple, cheap, and functional. I plan to only wear one on what would be my swinging arm. The couter is a nice touch, and why I'd like a set of spaulders that add one to the armpit area for about the same price.

>What are some top tier decks I can get on MTGO/Paper?

>Which rules should I follow?
If you don't already have some homebrew version with friends, follow the MTGO card pool and banlist (and please spread this to your friends that start playing with you). Currently the only place Pauper is officially supported by Wizards is online, and they have a card pool and banlist, therefore that is the format we should be using offline on paper as well, since decks and cards can transfer to games between each other with no confusion.

>What deck should I use?
Ask in the thread!

If you have no local paper competition, but want to play a vast amount of Pauper, it can't be beat, even if it is a clunky GUI, you learn quickly.
