Would you say that replacing angels and demons (from archetypal standpoint) with giants and fey is a workable idea?
The idea in my setting that they were primordial spirits who obtained purpose and a power to reason. The giants awoke first and shaped the world, yet in the end were prideful and desire to govern it. What-would-be-fey rebelled and thus obtained a reason of their own.
I have nothing against angels and demons, it's just that for some godforsaken reason I completely forgot to make lore for them in my otherwise well established setting and now am thinking how to do (or not to do) it.

Because angels and demons have very strong archetypal roles - enforcers of the divine will and rebellious tempters. If I replace them with something that, while similar, has strong thematic differences, it can leave a vacuum that my players may find sloppy.
For instance, the giants in my example would NOT be conduits of the divine (although definitely of divine nature) and thus a role of godly heralds will be left vacant. On the other hand, fey do not possess the same degree of utter malice as demons do, depriving me of a quite convenient source of baddies for PCs to slaughter.

How does it feel to know that one-handed melee weapons are shit? Some classes are basically locked into small arms, long arms and heavy weapons have their place, and two-handed melee is big damage town, but one-handed melee is shit. The shields are expensive and suck and buying two weapons is also expensive.

My party is going to do a battle royale after our campaign is over. I could probably take most of our party: a swashbucker, ranged Assassin rogue, gunslinger and forest druid. But my main problem is a barbarian/fighter who currently is an unstoppable monster resistant to anything but psychic damage.
I am currently a 10th level necromancy wizard. Any tips/spells that I can use to stop this monster? Any tips on dealing with a druid or long range stealthy Assassin?

Looking for a good tabletop game for a slightly larger group (5-7 players) to use on a play-by-post forum.
Theming/setting something like the SCP Foundation, X Files, Fringe and other stuff that's generally related to conspiracies and the paranormal. Basically, I'm looking for "/x/: The Tabletop Game".

Homebrew. Just have players roll XdY each turn with an action corresponding to each die. Make player sheets with stats that are used largely for comparison to enemy stat blocks or against each other for comparative ability. Each turn players will take actions that forward their characters in one way or another.

Your party is tasked with taking the Corpse Queen across the country, protecting her from the furious clerics and paladins who seek to destroy her and the rest of her undead empire.
The Queen turns out to be a delightfully kind zombie who just wants peace, and wishes to personally meet the ruler of the living empire so that a proper treaty can be negotiated.
Of course, anyone who sees her will want her killed, along with anyone associating with her (i.e. your party)
How would you keep her protected and hidden? Would you even believe a zombie queen is peaceful, or just kill her on the spot and avoid the quest all together?

Sure, I guess. I've probably got enough gold saved up to buy a classy looking carriage, a couple horses to pull it... should be a good trip. If she's not picky about camping out in the wilderness a lot, and not stopping and getting out at literally every settlement along the way, this will be easy. And once we get to the major cities and need to meet with leaders, I'm sure we can glamour her temporarily until the bard or sorcerer negotiates a secure location to negotiate peace.
The biggest thing would probably be figuring out which nobles / leaders to talk to first. First impressions are most important, we need to talk to the most receptive person first, since if we talk to someone vehemently opposed to the idea, they'll turn around and send off messages to the rest of the country and ruin everything before we get a chance.
