My take: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/31-03-16-gitrog-monster-edh/ It's mostly on dredge engine and kinda budgetbecause I'm a luckfag and own Azusa and curciblebut can serve as an "intro to Gitrog Synergies"

I didn't realize this was the Fantasy Craft General.
I turned body horror up to 11. My players are ever more uncomfortable. Things are going well.
>After being affected by disproportionate casualties, female knights have started complaining about the impracticality of their armor
>The Grand Masters who were willing to be interviewed claim that the problem is blown out of proportions because female knights are instructed to redirect enemy blows to their chest and groin

>After being affected by disproportionate casualties, female knights have started complaining about the impracticality of their armor
Can't complain if you are dead.
All in all, it's a good plan to make the knights a male-only job again.
>>46496603
I gave one of my players a circlet that protected her body like a plate mail, independently of the armor worn.
She didn't opt for the bikini armor, still kept a chain mail.

Read the 3e core book (link below). For mechanics of the old edition, play this tutorial: http://jyenicolson.net/exalted/. It'll get you familiar with most of the mechanics.
>Gosh that was fun. How do I find a group?
Roll20 and the Game Finder General here on /tg/. With the new edition, though, chances are more games will crop up.

Punch edition. What sort of MArtists and brawlers have you played? Did they give that proper Wuxia feel? Which style/form weapon do you prefer?
>>46484990
As big as they need to be.
Cecelyne is so big it takes 5 days to cross her
Kimbery is so big that nothing can cross her without her aid.
Malfeas is so big that he imprisons all the other Yozi despite several of them also being bigger than him.
>>46484990
Yes.
Any individual one, metaphysically, if not physically, is massive. A grand and majestic thing that has to express itself not only through one existence, but several MORE sub-beings, and even THOSE must be sub-divided further.
Imagine trying to explain the fullness of a human being's existence to an ant, or a squirrel.
Physically, they're generally no smaller than geography, and most exist in multiple bodies, any one of which could be as large as a mountain range or as small as an insidious thought between your ears.
>>46484905
Playing one now. Resistance Supernal Dawn with lots of points in Brawl. Just wades into battle and beats the shit out of people, often with OTHER people.
Let's play a game: Describe an existing setting. Others first decide whether or not they want to play it and then try to guess what setting we're talking about.
I'll start:
>An alien race is successfully conquering the universe, colonising planet by planet.
>They share no biological resemblance with us, each alien is composed of energy and specifically created for a single purpose within the colony.
>However some of these aliens fail their purpose.
>The squad that was sent to colonise earth failed to do so and instead grew fond of the earth.
>The break off contact with the colony and use the advanced tools they have to start a rebellion.
>Humans are unaware of the war that has been started between the rebels and the colony, but the threat is looming.
Would you play it or not?
Pick unrelated
I would never play a setting that uses nickles as its primary coin!

So it's Steven universe just with what the Gems should have been instead of lesbian gems?
>>46474943
>lesbian gems
They are a single-sex race. I just described Steven Universe, because if you think about it you can't really call them lesbians.

What are your personal house-rules/system hacks? Do your players approve or piss and moan?
>>46467135
I have a few that I have outlined but the big ones are
1 - If using a shield/off-hand weapon and your character takes max damage from a melee attack you can break the shield (rendering it useless) for half damage
2 - Max health at 1st level
3 - No alignment, just don't be a dick
I'm thinking about adding some skills to LotFP that aren't there.
1. Medicine: roll under and heal that many pips of HP. if you roll over, 1d4 damage to patient.
2. Speech (CHA mod adds pips): persuade/intimidate/bribe/haggle.
3. Arcana (WIS modifier adds pips): know when items are magic.
4. Appraise: know items sp value.
i know that Speech kinda goes against the books idea of RPing the character successfully enough to do those things, but for my players, i think it's a good choice.
Posting an updated version of the Castles & Crusades attribute generation method I was working on in last thread. The scores were coming out too high, so I cut the number of dice you roll. I also changed it so that you add your racial adjustment to the final attribute scores rather than the raw numbers.
(i love these and didn't see one up, don't know if there are rules to posting one)

Real Dragons Have Curves
>>46460367
>>What are the most prominent social issues in your world right now?
Is it really ok for the god-kings to just sit on their thrones, dwidling their thumbs and let a democratically chosen council rule the country while they themselves random get up from their toilets, before they start becoming one with the object, and instead shit on the council table and call it a degree. In a more serious tone: Is it truly fine that there are nigh omnipotent, yet oddly benign, tyrants that manipulate everything that is happening in the world.
>>What different positions do the public hold on those issues?
Some don't give a monkey's because they are content with the fact that they don't have to go into the wilderness to fight 50ft long snakes because the king's armies keep them safe, while the more philosophic and anarchistic parts are greatly against it, though their efforts are usually muted by the kings either publicly or in silenceso guess it pays that one of the kings is an assassin able to appear anywhere he wishes
>>Which side do you sympathise with the most and how do you prevent bias?
Well i sympathize with the less worried people because their lives are constantly interrupted by people trying to rouse rebellion only to become stains on the street when the king they are trying to overthrow comes and wipes them out of existence, but they still do have a point: the kings are tyrants by mandate of the gods and they don't care for the common folk for they are too busy making sure that history repeats itself.
>>How do those issues affect the daily life and/or politics of your world?
Assassinations, random rebellions and terrorist attacks that occur on a monthly basis for the common folk. For the political side there is the fact that if the king says B when the council decided A then there's nothing they can do. Also any opposition is dealt with harshly.
What are some truly original superpowers? Seems to me like most powers people qualify as "innovative" are just commonplace abilities restricted by really specific conditions.
Pic kinda related, this guy can create zippers which allow anything to be opened.
>>46457435
...that's a guy?
Also conceptual powers are a load of bullshit and I don't care about any character or setting that uses them.

King Crimson
Is the Emperor of Mankind a heretic, by his own standards?
>>46523280
Not by his standards, but by those of his followers. Their imagined image of what kind of person he was differs vastly from who he actually was.
>>46523280
No. But by the Ecclesiarchy's standards... that's another story.
>>46523280
Define "his standards" your op is extremely vague.

Shame on you, Wizards.
Whats better, /tg/: Bard or Wizard?
Pic unrelated
>>46520224
Depends on the setting.
>>46520446
Nevermind the setting, what is the better class.
Wizards are better at UNLIMITED COSMIC POWER.
Bards are better at fun and roleplaying, unless you play a Wizard and deliberately stand back enough to let the other players have fun.

>Pink
I'm tired of this. The color is brown. We aren't fucking pink.
>Two geographic locations are magically merged into one
How would this work?
What would happen to the buildings, the people, or even the land itself?
That depends on how you do it.
>>46519805
Most people and animals would die instantly, and most buildings and the landscape would be effectively destroyed.
It'd make more sense if it was from another dimension/plane of existence rather than another location of the same world.
While devastating to the locals, scavengers of all kinds would profit from the event. Not only would there be dead things all over the place, but suddenly all sorts of alien resources would be available. The neighbors would probably all go to war in order to harvest the merged area, which would now contain many materials that were impossible to get before.
what ever you want. Forgotten Realms has done it.
the TV show Fringe explored the concept quite a bit.
