> QM question
Do you ever look back or reread your quests and wish to have done something differently?
> Player question
Your favorite QM gets sick of oneitis and asks you to substitute him/her/it for an entire month. What would you do during that time?
Here we go again. Another weekend, another shitposting fest, another 15+ quest ideas proposed, gutted/accepted and then they never run, and people rightfully shitting on DLQ.
Ah, the weekend.

I WANT 2013 BACK.
You spend the rest of the morning and afternoon attending to the final parts of the Steelshard Mercenaries' training, taking it easy, and trying your hand at cooking, under Millian's guidance.
A pretty new experience for you, actually, since you've never had to cook for yourself that often. (You usually had people doing that for you).
Still, it gives you new respect for Millian and, really, anyone who prepares food for others as a professional It takes skill, speed, patience and care.
Your first experiment, pancakes, is wolfed down by Tia in a matter of seconds, with much praise, but Amata (a much more reliable source of criticism) merely admits that they're "good", and Millian (your MAIN source of criticism) gives them a barely passing grade.
Finally, night comes, and, after dinner (which you also try preparing: roasted mackerel with lime, which, according to your maid, you did a "passable" job at), you prepare and wait for Bua Shing's arrival.
You still have a bit of time before he shows up, and you feel ready, but perhaps...
>Ask Tia her opinion on how to conduct the meeting.
>Ask Amata her opinion on how to conduct the meeting.
>Organize the soldiers outside so they look sharp and impressive when he arrives.
>(Other?)
>Nah, I'm ready.
Combined with:
>Ask Tia to stay by your side / not interfere unless you call her
>Ask Amata to stay by your side / not interfere unless you call her
>Who are we?
Maka, an exiled noble Exalted as a Zenith-caste Solar. Queen of Gem, now ruling the western island of Tianna. You have gathered a vast amount of allies and friends, and defeated every threat to Tianna up to now.
You recently discovered that Tianna is actually an artificial island, built around a First Age Titan: an almighty flying fortress. Your forces have crushed the Bodhisattva Anointed by Dark Water, a Deathlord who tried to usurp its power for himself.
And now, on the day of your wedding, the Unconquered Sun Himself appeared to you and crowned you Princess of Creation, asking you to be an example for others in these dark times.
>Solar? Zenith? I don't know Exalted...
This quest is as newbie-friendly as possible, and I want it to work as a newbie's intro to Exalted. If you have ANY question, ask in thread. For the setting, google "1d4chan exalted".

Dicepool-like system. When performing an action, everyone rolls 1d10 when posting. the first X rolls are considered, where X is equal to attribute + ability.
>XP?
Attributes cost [current score x5] xp. Abilities cost [current score x3] xp, except Zenith costing [(current score x3) -1]. Charms cost 10 xp, except for Zenith-based charms (related to charisma and physical/mental fortitude) which cost 8 xp. At the end of every "session" (thread) you will be presented with a list of possible acquisitions.

What would win in a fight between a Baneblade and a Scorpion? Assume equally competent crew.
Scorpion's largest armament is a 90mm cannon. I'm not sure it would even pierce the Baneblade's armor.
Baneblade. W40k materials tech >>> halos. Hell the Scorpions' weapons might just bounce off of it.

Hey, so I just found this bitchin' fanart this guy is making. It's part one of a three part series he's doing on Avacyn's creation. Just thought I'd share it, 'cause it deserves to be circulated.

Duang the Metal Wrought is the God of Machinery and Obsolescence. Like the clock maker tinkering with his gears Duang's presence is felt to anyone crafting a machine wither it be a slight feeling of satisfaction or a new idea about how to further improve equipment. Duang is said to wander through the scrap heaps to give new life to the rejects of society.
Ma'kata is the God of Mutilation, Honor, and Promises. Ma'kata was the third god of the Nameitian Pantheon to come into existence near the beginning of the universe. Ma'kata while embodying the horrors of war follows a strict code of Honor. Anyone who breaks a vow or fights with dishonor is said to incur the blight of Markta. The curse takes the form of a rage that is said to take over the person in a moment of personal weakness and cause them to attempt to slaughter anyone in the vicinity. Follows of Ma'kata have been know to cut off ears of noses to offer to the God in either penance or for his favor

>>46535893
So if the gods apear at certain timea when did Duang appear and how do people know about it?
>>46535934
Duang was the most recent and 12th God to come about and the coming of a new god is heralded by a prophet of the God being born an performing Miracles in there name

The people of the New Necrotic Armada, the living and the dead, begin to settle into their new home of Iti'a'Ropku. Built in the peaks of the mountain range you were once imprisoned in, the city spread through the valleys and cliffs. Walls of pitted bone and gleaming metal shine in the morning light, sunbeams striking the statue-like forms of the Requiems and Dirges casting dazzling sprays of red light around them.
Colonists walk alongside visiting Stonestar warriors and students, the Osogo introduced to the rough but mostly jovial Legionnaires, Gargoyles and Cyclops perched on top of steepled roofs as they kept watch. A Drake, a large serpentine Reconstructed, dozes on top of the gates of the city watching as the living subjects took hover transports and shuttles to the colony and farms. Already they were hard at work in the crisp winter air to pack up their personal effects and pets to be moved to the Capitol.
At the landing areas outside of the colony Buddy and his hand picked crew of former Daggers and Colonists finish loading up their ship. Captured in Station 88 it had been picked apart, modified, and rebuilt to it's current form. Lightly armed but with deceptively heavy armor and powerful engines the ship was stuffed to the brim with packaged Narcotikelp in its hidden compartments, a Demi-Think Tank accompanying the crew. They make their farewells to Jor who came to see them off and the ship lifts off. Once in orbit a small tear in space appears at its nose and swallows the craft leaving a faint ripple in spacetime in its wake.
The New Necrotic Armada was a changed beast from its ancient precursor. Here and now, the Living had an importance to the greater Armada that it had lacked in the past. You've come to realize that the previous path of the Necrotic Armada and the Undying Court was merely extinction and eventual surrender to entropy and stagnation.
No longer. The Dead only have meaning through their interactions with the Living.

Completed Research:
>Storm Gate: A key of the Ahkam races success as an interstellar power is their ability to transport themselves into FTL but generating a field large enough to transport them and a large amount of friendly ships with good accuracy.
>Anti-Grav Harness: A collection of pads filled with densely packed runes attached to a full-body harness and typically worn under armor allows the Sunscale Scouts to negate the effects of gravity upon their person. This allows for unlimitied ease of movement and safely dropping from the upper atmosphere to the surface with amazing speed and unharmed.
>Sunscale Armors: The Sunscale put a heavy emphasis on their armors. With a wide range of weights and styles to fit their various castes and their vassal races they provided excellent protection against ballistic and thermal weaponry.

You are Adrian Brown, a twenty five year-old third-year medical student living an otherwise normal American life in search of employment. That was until you woke up inside a direct and demon-infested hospital with four other victims of short-term memory loss. Together, the five of you managed to somehow survive by negotiating with demons and defeating those that were not so amicable. And upon escaping, the all of you realized that it wasn’t as simple as that.
Task Force 666 a multinational organization dedicated to combating hostile demons and those that would use them for ill intentions. And the hellhole you just went through? That was your ‘job interview’, one that you passed with flying colors. When properly offered employment as an agent among the ranks, you accepted without too much hesitation or second thoughts. Duty to humanity and whatnot.
You are now a Devil Summoner in the service of the Task Force, and the de-facto leader of East Coast Operations Rookie Team Three. It is your duty to protect mankind from all threats involving the demonic, but how you choose to carry out your orders is entirely up to you. The choices you make shall not only affect those around you, but the fate of the entire world itself…
[1:37 PM Monday June 29th 2015]
There’s one more place that you have to visit before you can go out on the mission. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) recommends that every agent should pay a visit to the fusion labs. Even if an agent didn’t have the need to fuse any sort of demons for whichever mission he/she had been assigned, it still never hurt to update one’s personal registry of demons.
Once upon a time, a Demonic Compendium was literally a book with mystic runes and eldritch writings that sought to record a demon’s essence. And Demon Fusion was conducted with magic circles under the moonlight. However, that time was long gone. Nowadays, digital compendiums and fusion units are the way to go.
You’re still a bit confused as to why the manual refers to Mido’s particular floor as the ‘Cathedral of Shadows’. Maybe it was an inside joke of some kind, or one of those things that are still higher than your paygrade.
The five of you step out of the elevator as soon as it hits the destined floor, and follow the signs that point to the cathedral. You can feel a sort of humming that sets your teeth on edge, and a sort of electric charge in the air that causes the hair on your arms to stand up straight. Judging from the way the others are tense, they’re feeling it too.
You find a vacant lab, and shuffle inside. It’s a small space, barely able to accommodate all of you, dominated by a wide series of dials and gauges, buttons and levers. Separated by five inches of reinforced plexiglass, you behold a room thirty by thirty feet lined with cylindrical test-tube-like structures, each going almost one story in height.
Six ‘smaller’ units to contain the fusion materials feed into a ‘larger’ one with various cables and tubes. That is where the expected result of fusion would be by the end of the process.
(cont.)
Sitting in the room’s only chair, a man in his late twenties regards you with a cool expression. If his lab coat is any indication, then he must be one of the staff members in charge of this particular room. But his disheveled appearance and unshaved chin stubble gave him the appearance of a hobo trying to cosplay as a scientist more than anything else.
...okay, that was a bit much. You correct yourself. He doesn't look like a hobo as much as he does a mad scientist. All that was missing was a comic relief assistant that had some kind of speaking disability to complete the guy.
“Welcome to the Cathedral of Shadows,” He intones, adopting a serious gait and demeanor with a dramatic pose. You have to give him points for trying to match the rather…ominous vibes that the Cathedral was pumping into you. “I am the current technician operating this particular room.
“From the weary looks on your faces, I deduce with my genius intelect that you are agents about to go on a mission and not the interns that I ordered lunch from. You must be here to either register your demons, fuse your demons together…or perhaps both. What say you?”
>“…just registration.”

Why Dwarves in fantasy love axes so much? I mean I know they are Gimli ripoffs but even in Tolkien works not every fucking Dwarf had an axe I read one explanation that had something to do with their height but that's horsefucking bullfuck as Goblins are also short yet typically they are shown with spears and swords in fact if you're a manlet that's exactly when you need a long weapon the most. So basically - why not spears you fucking Dwarves?
The reason they're shown using axes is not because of their stature. Apply yourself friend.
