Which Legion?
So one of my players wanted to play a "LOL SO RANDUMB" Chaotic Neutral Rogue. After a short argument that was completely pointless and kicking the player out, I think me and my players came up with good (but probably not accurate) definitions of what each alignment is.
>Lawful Good: Works with in the law for the good of the people.
>Neutral Good: Does the right thing for everyone no matter what.
>Chaotic Good: Fights for everyone's freedom and positive change.
>Lawful Neutral: Adheres to laws above all things including morality.
>True Neutral: Concerned for what's good for himself only, but has limits on how far he's willing to go and only wants enough to survive.
>Chaotic Neutral: Fights for change of anysort, be it positive or negative. Hates stagnation.
>Lawful Evil: Twists and takes advantage of the law inorder to benefit himself.
>Neutral Evil: Does what's best for him with no constraints, especially moral ones. Driven by greed.
>Chaotic Evil: Concerned for only his (most likely immoral) personal freedoms and negative change.
But the thing we realized that's the most important is:
>Alignments are cancer
Actually, those suck.
>>47268145
Well Fuck I tried out of ten.
"Lawful" implies that you work with some law. The 'some' part is important here. It could be the law of the land, it could be the law of your god, or it could be a personal law you have which you don't back down on, no matter what.
Thus, Batman is lawful good. He breaks the law of Gotham city (He does many unlawful things, such as breaking and entering, vigilantism, resisting arrest) but he is still lawful good. This is because Batman operates under his own law, which he never breaks. His law is that he doesn't kill people, and as long as he continues to abide that one law, he will always be lawful. If he breaks it, he may be chaotic good or true good.

Post any art requests you have ITT. Keep in mind, the drawfriends are doing this for free, so do not be surprised or upset if they gloss over your post. The artists are here to draw what they WANT to draw, not what you THINK should be drawn.
Be patient, and bump your request one time every 24 hours from the time you posted the request.
>Do's:
Provide good, detailed references (pictures are better than verbal descriptions), so the artists know what you're looking for as best you can.
Hold off on additional requests after receiving a delivery from an artist, and be mindful of the other requests that might deserve attention.
Mind your manners. You may not like another persons request, but that doesn't mean the drawfriends won't.
If you're migrating from a previous thread, make sure to read the new thread first and see if a delivery has been posted first.
Say thank you! We appreciate our artists and their amazing work!
>Do Not's:
Don't be an asshole and immediately repost your request because you don't like the FREE art you received.
Don't bump early, please. There will always be someone lurking, just waiting for an excuse to eat up posts and drive us to an early 404.
Don't respond to shitposts, they are pretty easy to spot and avoid.

I'd like to request an undead elf dark mage/warlock wearing similar clothes to pic related (feel free to add extra studs/spikes/blades if you wish, it'd fit her character fairly well), wielding a living and monstrous spell-tome wrapped in spiked chains, with similar chains extruding from portals as if ready to attack her enemies.
Requesting something silly; an official or political female elf and her ambassador human husband both looking quite shocked at a book copy of Love Can Bloom. The female elf official looks just like Taldeer with a few minor differences and her human husband official looks just like LIVVI but also with some minor differences. The elf lady is absolutely livid thinking and believing it must be some sort of cruel joke by her political rivals while the human husband is just flabbergasted and covering his mouth with a horrified look on his face about it.

Everyone has their own unique idea of what a Star Wars story should be, especially people who write the official works. And their ideas are often totally different from what each individual player thinks of when they think of an ideal Star Wars game.
Everyone has their own ideas and preferences about the setting, meaning you'll always have at least one person unhappy with the game.

Everyone welcome.
FAQ:
Q - What is Towergirls?
A /tg/ creation. Read more here.
https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Tower_Girls
Q - How do I play?
A - It's a CYOA, there are no established mechanics for the rescue. All the pages to the game are in the imgur album linked in resources.
Q - Why aren't/are we we working on; Fan Gen II/Knights/combat mechanics/etc.
A - No. We recognize that spreading out our efforts is what originally killed the project. Accordingly, we're focusing on just one thing at a time and finishing them out.
Q - Hey, can we make a pricness about X fetish?
A - It generally comes down to what people like. Propose the idea and see if others want it.
Q - Is there a map/unified setting?
A - Nope. Though proposals have been made, nothing concrete has been created.
Q - Can I post fanart/fanfiction here?
A - Go right on ahead, just make sure it's within the global rules.

I think Gen 4 needs a bit of a rewrite. The main page doesn't say anything about the rewards. It should say something like "Any space you choose to keep empty can be filled with treasure" or something.
Strawpoll Results:
Layout: One Passive/One unlock/Two Choices
For the sake of the artists's sanity, I suggest working the Passive effect into the troop's description, the two choices in the middle, and the unlockable at the bottom.
Details:
Generic Soldier with Regiment Power Indicatior
Not only did this choice win, but generic soldier was far more popular than captain, and Regiment got half the votes for the power indicatior.
Any other business on the table, or is it open season for throwing out ideas?

OP Here, I'm in a bit of a pickle. Basic premise for my setting is colony ships that crash-landed on the moons of some distant gas giant, some are decently habitable, some aren't, some already have aliens on them. Now, I want there to be some sort of event called the Interlunar wars in the history of these crashed colonies, the game would be in Fate CORE and it'd be set somewhere around 300-500 years after the crash. Here's what I've got for moons so far, a lot of which has been ripped straight from pathfinder's Distant Worlds supplement because I'm kinda lazy. If anybody's got any advice for me on how to justify an Interlunar War, or some new ides to spice up the moons I've already got, or anything for the moon I don't have written down, feel free to respond. I'd really appreciate any help.
>>47251227
I feel like you meant to include a picture.
As for an Interlunar War, I can think of a few workable options:
1) One moon developed a militaristic, expansionist society. Eventually they decided to conquer the others because of manifest destiny, or a belief that they'd run everything better. Maybe their early history involved fighting the local natives almost perpetually?
Anyway, most of the war was fought against their nascent empire of a few moons and a coalition of defenders.
2) Not every moon has every resource in needed quantities. A series of small wars developed over control, often to break monopolies over resources. This went on for several generations until a weak treaty resulted in a decade long, unilateral ceasefire. However, during this brief period of peace the moons pulled a "Europe in the 1910s" and made a bunch of secret alliances to prepare for the next conflict. Then one jackass ruined it for everyone by picking a fight and everyone else got pulled in WWI-style.
3) One colony lost to the alien natives, who used the newcomers' tech to develop into a power in their own right. They then launched a religious crusade to destroy the invaders from every moon. Some humans fought them, others had to deal with resurgent local natives, and others still refused to take part in a genocidal war until they got attacked in turn.

It is 752 years since the Battle of Lewes, one of two main battles of the conflict known as the Second Barons' War. It took place at Lewes in Sussex, England. It marked the high point of the career of Simon de Montfort, 6th Earl of Leicester, and made him the "uncrowned King of England".
Henry III was an unpopular monarch due to his autocratic style, displays of favouritism and his refusal to negotiate with his barons. The barons eventually imposed a constitutional reform known as the Provisions of Oxford upon Henry that called for a thrice-yearly meeting led by Simon de Montfort to discuss matters of government. Henry sought to escape the restrictions of the provisions and applied to Louis IX of France to arbitrate in the dispute. Louis agreed with Henry and annulled the provisions. Montfort was angered by this and rebelled against the King along with other barons in the Second Barons' War.
The war was not initially openly fought, each side toured the country to raise support for their army. By May the King's force had reached Lewes where they intended to halt for a while to allow reinforcements to reach them. The King encamped at St. Pancras Priory with a force of infantry, but his son, Prince Edward (later King Edward I), commanded the cavalry at Lewes Castle 500 yards (460 m) to the north. De Montfort approached the King with the intention of negotiating a truce or failing that to draw him into open battle. The King rejected the negotiations and de Montfort moved his men from Fletching to Offam Hill, a mile to the north-west of Lewes, in a night march that surprised the royalist forces.
The royalist army was up to twice the size of de Montfort's. Henry held command of the centre, with Prince Edward, William de Valence, 1st Earl of Pembroke, and John de Warenne, 6th Earl of Surrey, on the right; and Richard, 1st Earl of Cornwall, and his son, Henry of Almain, on the left.
