I'm looking for additions to an already running game.

RT but we're using DH2e for characters with a hombrew linking the two systems (allowing for traditional RT roles, the talents in RT and not DH2e, etc.)

This gets a bit complicated.
We play primarily over text on discord but we have voice open on discord for rule questions, general bants, etc.
For player level combat, (not ship combat) we will resolve it entirely over voice to keep it fast paced.
We use roll20 for rolls, a sector map and space combat (potentially character level combat if it should ever need a detailed map).
To top it all off, we have a skype group we use to stay in touch between sessions because none of us check discord.

There are already 3 people in the group so I will only take on new players that fit well with the group.
The basis of the campaign is that a new sector has been declared over formally unincorporated space on the edge of the Imperium. 3 individuals have been given economic rights to claim, colonize and exploit any systems this new sector contains provided it doesn't already support an imperial population.
The game has just started so don't worry about catching up too much.

New to TTRPGs, played on a freelancer RP server before. I've spent a fair bit of time on the pathfinder wiki because I was going to join a pathfinder group but they were full.

Cleanup/SburbAnon here, but sleepy. Should be asleep at this, so not sure how coherent this'll be. But here goes. Took too long to type last thread.

Anyway, both have about the same approach as they're both Heirs, and both of less physical aspects. They'll be powerful in their aspect through calling on it, receive it, be passively helped by it, and at their greatest /become/ it.

Light is Knowledge, Luck, Fortuitous outcomes, (and a tangenial connection to sight?), so the Heir of Light would find it easy to acquire relevant information. Imagine opening a random book at a random page, and the first sentence you read is exactly what you wanted to know. They'd receive luck, things just falling into place for them. They'd just receive the piece of information they need at exactly the right moment without even knowing it. They'd be able to manipulate the fortunes of those around them, through more in a general calling it up to do things, instead of a Witch's assuming direct control.

When they become Light... it's probably more in a metaphorical way. The Heir of Light at it's apex would be ridiculously lucky and a font of knowledge. Through I'm not precluding the ability to become literal light either, since the canon Seer of Light manages to use 'majick' to fight with blasts of light. But it'd probably be less a lightspeed-moving form (scale is really weird in Sburb), and more a shining avatar or way to become mostly intangible for a bit.

The Heir of Heart on the other hand... Identity, Souls, and Emotions. Mainly positive emotion, and some connections to relationships. They'd be able to call on emotion, evoking those to have people feel things or matchmaking if they like. Maybe allowing beings that don't usually have those to feel them. They'd probably also be able to affect personalities and souls somewhat, not to be point of rewriting them but they can certainly make an impact. Anyway... they'd receive Heart. Imagine the Heir would be the focus of quite a bit of positive emotions, not necessarily love (through it certainly can be), but you can expect them to be generally liked anywhere and almost never dislike. Their own soul and emotions would probably be empowered too.

Becoming Heart is an interesting thing that could go either of two ways, or perhaps both. There's the becoming in positive emotion, which would probably be some kind of positive psychic 'infection'. Or what seems more likely is that you become a literal Sburb-style soul without a body, which would basically just be you but intangible and a little transparent.

Your name is Mohammed al Tabir. You were born almost seventeen years ago on Mars, in Phobos City, to a poor family. Your father taught you how to fight in close with a knife, and how to shoot a man to kill him. These are skills that he honed during the Purging of Mars when he rode with Hakim the Kinless as did his father, uncles, aunts, sisters, and brothers. Of what had been quite a large family, he was the sole survivor, and it left many scars on him both inside and out. Your mother was younger, too young to have been involved in the fighting, but she too lost most of her family and the remainder wanted nothing to do with you. As a child, your primary enjoyment was mugging wealthier children and taking their money to the Jovian Quarter to play Bluegill Joe at the arcade. When you defeated a few adult members of a mercenary band at this game, they recruited you, and after switching bands a few times you ended up working for the insufferable Ibrahim and the Scarlet Talons. This, of course, ended when Commander Ibrahim chose death over dishonor...or perhaps panicked and didn't hit the eject button in time...when he faced the mighty Black Ogre in battle and you found your new calling as a pirate. Crime does not hold any special appeal to you, but growing stronger does. From what you have seen, Roarke Starwind and the Black Ogre have the strongest and most admirable way of living, so you seek to emulate it. Unlike many Martians, your devotion to Hakimite Islam is very lukewarm, although you have learned to make a show of piety around others for the sake of impressing them and getting more work as a mercenary. Sometimes, you suspect that Hakim himself is the same way, but you also know yourself well enough to recognize wishful thinking. It is true, though, that the Sunni-Shi'ia rivalry came to an abrupt halt when both were swept away by the Hakimites.

It is also true that the declaration that humanoid mecha are haram has greatly helped Martian mech companies avoid being steamrolled and absorbed by the mighty Bahamut Corporation and Bucephalus Heavy Industries, the twin giants of Jupiter.

You have had plenty of time to examine your cell, and are already bored with it. It's more white than grey, and shinier, but otherwise identical to the cell on the Rhinehawk that you spent a brief period of time in. From what you saw on your way in, most of the brig is empty, there is a man with shaggy blonde hair in the cell to your left and a woman with short, mousy hair on the right. As you did on the pirate ship, you meditate to pass the time. Mostly, you meditate on your failure.

As he and his men sail Northwest to aid Adelais Dory, Samson sits in his cabin, hands buried in face. God, this whole "kidnapped dad" thing has put a damper on his mood. He can't show his face to the crew when he's this down. He's their motivator for a reason, dammit! Showing how much anguish and worry is currently overwhelming him will just bring everyone else down. The only person who he'll let see at his weakest like this is Millicent.

Half the continent away, in the valley of Garou, the Wolfskin region's capital city of Velouria prepares for invasion. The folks at the nearby Fort Velour await their chance to avenge Director Chiffon, Donnegan, and Saye. Speaking of the latter, Rene is currently paying her family's home a bittersweet visit, dropping off the rabbit's foot that her thought-to-be-fallen friend asked her to give to her brother. They're a very pleasant bunch, Saye's family, though the mood is ABSOLUTELY dampered by the circumstances.

The forces of the resistance and the Tarvosian Nomads, meanwhile, also continue toward Fort Velour, Director Chiffon dropped off in a safe place and Saye having abandoned them as soon as his safety was ensured. Dyrus keeps training for as long as he can until the inevitable battle with Acting-Director Cashmere. Doubtless Flees, and likely her as well, have riled up the forces of the already-famously-human-intolerant Wolfskin capital, so talking things out won't be as easy as it was with Saye.

"DRAG THEIR SOULS TO OUR REALM AND STOP DANCING AROUND THIS FACT, YOU'RE DEBASED KIN FOLK DO NOT BECOME BETTER TORMENTORS BY LAYING AROUND AND FEASTING ON SCRAPS THEY" it spells out, flipping through pages as the writing turns into a furious, bleeding scrawl

"Will not fill your stomach or mind, or anything else, you're more controlled than most of your kind" a sloppy flowing writing says, replacing the scrawl mid text "but you're not out of the reach of what you are, you need to do your work or"

"You will decay in mind until you do it anyways" another, much more structured text says, slowly dragging itself over the pages "And your human mind will never live with that I am sure"

A short story with Compelling Deterrence and Physic Rebuttal.

Shu and Mai lead you on a long trek through the desert, not saying much on the way there aside from complaints about the heat every few minutes. Honestly, Bulma and Oolong complained less than these two, and that's saying something.

You're still quite tired from dealing with the machine and plane, but you're able to get going. And, slowly but surely your strength is returning to you. You don't think you can use another Kamehameha just yet, but you aren't stumbling as you walk anymore.

After what feels like hours, you finally see your destination, and it's probably the biggest building you've seen in your life by far.

It's a strange looking place. The bottom portion looks like a pyramid, though it has a large front door, and the upper part is a palace with many towers and a large antenna.

"Here we are," Mai says as you approach the building.

"Home sweet home," Shu says.

"Wow," Goku says, admiring the building. "Look at this place."

"It's huge," Bulma gasps.
