Requesting a 40K imperial guardsman for my OW players.
Custom regiment; they're from a water planet and their culture is a heavy amalgamation of ancient Macedonia and the Achaemenid Empire.
The significant bits are the artificial gill implants and the harpoon rifles. I'm yet to decide if the rifles are more akin to TFTD's jet harpoons (sizeable harpoons with a lower rate-of-fire) or a nailgun (although I'm leaning towards the former; both crunch- and fluff-wise), so feel free to design it however you find better (this applies to the implants, too).
The armour should be light (probably chestplates only), plastic looking.
I don't really have any specific ideas on how they should look; a mixture of Macedonian+Haqqislam+Catachan seems to be a good starting point. The players decided that their regiment nickname should be 'Steel Orcas'. I'm not sure if you should include that in some kind of motif. If you have any cool schemes in mind, go ahead.
If you do include an imperial aquila, make it a Persian Faravahar.

Requesting an androgynous half-elf with long, black hair tucked behind the ears. They are fairly pale, and their eyes are white with a greyish sclera (like pic related). They're wearing pristine white mage's robes with gold trim. The robes have an emblem of a crow sewn on to the sash. They look very serene overall.

Don't mean to be a dick here, but exactly what the fuck is there to be excited about when it's all reprints and we're not going to get the reprints necessary to play Constructed with the cards we open.
Like, Modern Masters is Modern Masters; I could see all the (bad) reasons why they limited the print run and jacked up the prices and dropped the booster count per box. But this is Eternal Masters, the formats are fucking barren of players; just completely fucking dead due to the Reserve List - so what is the reason why you would limit the printing of this product when the cards are going to see nearly zero constructed play. People aren't going to START playing Legacy/Vintage because they got these cards.
I can't believe these boxes aren't going to rot on shelves. I can't believe that with even less usefulness than Modern Masters product people still want it at these inflated prices.

I think the issue is that I, as a random anon, don't know much about Byzanthium other than the following facts:
It was a great big empire that lasted for a thousand years, or so
Some issues with the Sassanids, then the rise of Islam, then the muslims, then... Constantinople was sacked? Sometime?
There was a Plague of Justinian, which screwed over the attempts at Western Reconqust and probably destabilized the tax infrastructure and the smaller towns to make it harder to resist the rise of Islam.
541 is a hilariously awful year, with the plague, and the possible volcanic eruption sending ash into the atmosphere and causing slow crop growth and the wars. Interesting end times scenario.
They really liked heavy armor and horses.
And that's the extent of my historical knowledge. What sources or suggestions can you offer? What's actually cool?
