Does Vision Charm work with Sundial of the Infinite like I think it does?
What are people hopeing for in the 4 colour commanders? I think no matter what the b/w/g/u commander does I'm going to turn him into 4 colour enchantment goodstuff. Daxos made me fall in love with enchantments but it annoyed me that I couldn't tap into green.

NEW SPACE MARINE TRAILER
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pxdtigmeDY
How can these devs keep pumping out such consistently awesome trailers edition.
Copypasta is still old unfortunately, newest archived version I found on google was from late March.

Marine Tactica underway.

The trailer seems to imply that there will be further campaign missions, did I miss anything?
Also how will the SM fleets exactly work? Can you pick your coloring upfront? Or is it some kind of reworked favor system, only that the favor gets automatically applied to all your ships?
>>47821108
I'm kinda wondering how they're going to do the marine fleet myself. Are the marines going to get extra picks to compensate for their lack of cruiser and battlecruiser class vessels, or is Focus going to make some up and jam them in there.
They fucked up Dark Angels fluff

The year is 2050, in an alternate universe we will never see. The Cold War never ended because the USSR never fell. Low burning proxy wars have finally erupted into full blown WW3. Both the American headed Union of Atlantic Allied States (ATLAS) and the USSR’s renewed Communist International Bloc (COMINTERN) are in shambles as the Earth burns in nuclear fire. However, all is not lost. Both COMINTERN and ATLAS, as well as a few independent players, have constructed thousands of ARK Ships to settle a new frontier in the sky, finding new homes for the people of the Dying Earth.
You will command one of these ships, settle on a new world and rebuild civilization. But first, who is your benefactor?
1 - ATLAS
> ATLAS is an Alliance Bloc and loosely federated group of Capitalistic and Socially Democratic Nations lead by the United States, Great Britain, the European Union (itself led by Germany and France), Australia, Japan, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
2 - COMINTERN
> COMINTERN is headed by the USSR and their chief partners, China and Brazil. Though slightly smaller in population than ATLAS, COMINTERN is more than capable of holding its own in terms of Science, Industry and Warfare. Though largely Communist in character, more Moderate Socialist countries (Brazil, Poland, Ukraine, Greece) balance out the Alliance.
3 - ORION
> The ORION Corporation is the chief financier of the Diaspora Project, and has made an absolute killing off the sale and manufacture of ARK Ships to both the Soviets and ATLAS. As such, ORION has also launched a small number of “private” ships, loaded with refugees and their own personnel, intent on carving out sovereign territory for themselves among the stars.
4- SOMEONE ELSE?
> Many self-interested groups with enough resources have been able to scratch together enough for a small ARK ship or two. Who you are, or who your benefactor is, will be dependent on further questions.
Space is boring and requires a lot of hard work. At the end of the day, we just want to stomp spiders for loot and get in cliche conflict and intrigue.
ORION obviously
>>47871995
>Your colony ship is a private ORION ship, loaded with highly trained and effective personnel. You will not be bound to the petty conflicts of ATLAS or COMINTERN.
What is your destination?
Note: ARK Ships are capable of reaching speeds of over 99% the speed of light, but cannot exceed them. The ships are administered by an AI administrator while the Colonists are in cryogenic stasis for the journey.
1 - LOCAL SECTOR
> Settling the local cluster means competing directly for planetary settlement in systems such as Gliese 581, Tau Ceti or Alpha Centauri. Expect to be sharing a planet with other colonists.
2 - HYADES CLUSTER
>A open star cluster with many complex, multi star systems some 150 light-years from Sol. The Hyades, though distant, is prime real estate; many of the exoplanets surveyed are highly likely to be habitable with minimal infrastructure or easily terraformed. However, you’re still gonna have neighbors, if not on your new rock, then very close by.
3 - THE BLACK
> Your destination will be a distant exoplanet or star cluster. It’s possible that other charters may be headed in the same direction, but you could easily end up all alone on an equally lonely world out in the black.
As a note, this game is a test.
Stay safe out there.

Things a character can do with Act(ions)
>Rescue an ally in an adjacent space.
>Attack using a wielded weapon.
>Move a number of spaces no greater than Mov.
>Defend or Guard against incoming attacks. (Reduces incoming damage by base weapon damage+Str)
>Overwatch an action (if none are stated, then the Overwatch will automatically be 'Overwatch a weapon attack against first available enemy')
>Rest to recover 1 HP per use.
>Interact with an item or other character.
>Reloading a Magazine.
Things that do not require an Act
>Gathering a purified soul.
>Dropping to the floor or off a ledge.
>Standing up.
>Taking and resisting damage.
>Drawing a weapon or ammunition.
>Picking up an unattended item.
With that out of the way...

Anyone play Paranoia recently?
Did the 25 anniversary PDFs come out?
This features the best Paranoia session, Hunger
My group is insisting on playing D&D 3.5, and I'd like to show them the error of their ways. What's the best build I can make to fuck up the setting and kill the other PCs. There's a Monk, a Ranger, and a Fighter. I've stalled on making a character so far so I can gather some advice.
My advice: quit being That Guy. If you don't like how they play, leave the group. You aren't going to convince anyone with your crap, and the only result of your effort will be you getting kicked out, so you might as well skip the middle step and get the fuck out yourself.
If you want someone to play a game you prefer, run it yourself.
Start out with not shitting up /tg/ with this lazy garbage bait.
>>47860116
This is what bait looks like
>Party is a bunch of dudes travelling through a forest. They are all pretty new to DnD.
>They stumble upon a inn and there's a young woman standing in fron of it
>I start describing her, when one of the guy's asks: "How big are her breasts?"
>Another dude yells out "Rolling dice on girl's bust size."
>Rolls a natural 20
>Everybody starts losing their shit, then another guy asks "How about her ass?"
>Dude rolls again
>Rolls another 20.
And then they spend the rest of the session trying to swoon her.
What about you guys? W
Ugh, I can't believe you'd do something so misogynistic, you shitlord.
You and your group are everything wrong with gaming. I'm literally shaking right now.
>>47853028
>Completely incapable of enforcing rules.
How's it feel to be your group's bitch, OP?
>>47853054
>I'm literally shaking right now
No, that's just the earthquake from the continental drift your fat folds are doing.
>Go into the wrong bar, and somebody will likely hit you over the head with a pool cue. Nothing wrong with that.
I kinda wish game stores were like this you know?
Man, Europe must be real extreme. Most places here have been kind of chill. Just get some beer, a burger, and take the stress off.
>>47850902
American bars are where people go to cool down and destress after a busy, exciting, stressful day
European bars are where people go to have fun and turn themselves loose after a boring, monotonous, repetitive day
I am fully convinced that I could with ease smash the teeth out of any dude who has ever browsed /tg/ at any point in their life.
Most of you sound like massive contrarian pussies who are desperate for attention for being "subversive". In fact I'd like it, I feel like most of you need a swift punch to the fucking jaw
Why do most westerners prefer the low fantasy grimdark settings like Warhammer, Warcraft, and A Song of Ice and Fire where the general populace is down and dirty and dying of the plague, compared to JRPG-tier fantasy with floating cities, airships, magic crystals powering everything and high saturation screenshots?
How about you take a step back from your own conclusions and not pigeon hole entire cultures there fucknut?
>Warhammer
>Warcraft
>low fantasy
Senpai, please.
>>47850374
Western people are fat and happy. They turn to grimdark and sad fantasy to explore the emotions they do not experience regularly. Japanese people are depressed and suicidal so they turn to cheerful and upbeat fantasy to escape the reality the don't wish to face any longer
>complexity is tied to rarity
People lie. We all knew it's all about the money.
>>47848470
That card is pretty complex. Where you not around for the Grist combos? Ending the turn early can lead to shenanigans.
>>47848470
Clearly you've never played a sundial deck

Introduction from “On the Subject of the Ingulan Race”
A Treatise Written by Masgister Harim, - 129 BCR
Goddess, take this earthen child
As flames consume their vessel
Of mortal flesh, and uplift their spirit
From the smoldering ashes. Goddess,
Take your lost child to their final rest,
to that Realm beyond the Sky, beyond
this Earth to where Death has no power.
Goddess, embrace this child we send,
Envelop them with a shroud of night
And set the last spark of their eyes
To shine in the cloth of the Eternal Sky.
-Translated excerpt from an Ingulan Funeral Song
They call themselves “The People of the Infinite Mother who Dwells Among the Stars”, the literal translation of the word “Ingulan”, the men and women of the Moonlight Plains. Fortunately, for both my pen hand and the sake of the layman’s tongue, they do not take slight or offense to the abridged “People of the Sky” moniker. For the most part, they are a stoic and spiritual race, slow to anger and ire. Gods have mercy on the poor soul to invoke the wrath of an Ingulan.

Kaz its almost midnight. Go to sleep.
>>47847758
With brown, hardy skin from a life under the elements and the rigors of survival, they are a warrior race. Men and women alike, regardless of all ages, are instructed in combat from a young age. Their primary weapons consist of sword, spear and battleaxe. Bowmen are rarer, as they maintain the belief that to kill an enemy from afar is dishonorable. But we shall only touch momentarily on this subject as to have a more in-depth discussion about the warrior aspect of their race.
Perhaps the most iconic feature of an Ingulan is the intricate tattoos that they bear on their faces and backs, both of which have significant meaning among their people. The marks on their face identify the clan that one belongs to, coming in many differing shapes, patterns and colors. In sharp comparison, no two share the same marks on their backs, as that is the canvas for where tattoo artists inscribe an Ingulan’s life story. Occurrences such as birth, trials of youth, wars and other events of importance are recorded on the back in permanent ink from the age of ten.

Why is violence a major part of traditional games?
>>47845351
When was the last time you saw a movie without conflict?
>>47845351
Because adventuring is a major part of traditional games, and adventuring takes people places where violence is an inherent part of life.
>>47845363
Does streaming of a boat ride count?
>Muh Paladin semantics
So is he right? Or is this technically DM railroading bullshit?
Obligatory Goblins tag
>>47844725
I must admit this makes a certain amount of sense, if you squint hard enought.
Thunt's world clearly isn't core D&D where good and evil are absolute objective metrics that can be observed and measured. As Kore is insistent enough that he is good to retain his paladin levels, subjectivity does enter into the acts of good and evil. By performing actions that are wrong by his own subjectivity, he did indeed work evil with the axe.
This also explains why the axe didn't explode after a couple wings of Saral's usage; even though he was performing grim and terrible deeds that weakened it nonetheless, by his subjectivity (as an amoral sadist) he was just having fun.
>>47844725
It's horseshit. Pure "muh opinion" and not even one that makes a lot of sense.
You could easily start undermining it by pointing to Good characters in places full of chancers, crooks and scammers. The Good character doesn't want to waste his limited resources on the underserving.
What's the /tg/ equivalent of this guy?
>>47839078
Probably a 3aboo at a non-3.x game.
>>47839078
Well there's always cyberpunk guy, but a general /tg/ one would be a lot harder I think, what with /tg/'s broadness
Only have the /tv/ version 4U.
