All over the world, heavy users of 4chan suddenly receive superpowers, with each one receiving a specific power based on the board they frequent most (so heavy /tg/ users get a certain power, heavy /pol/ users get another, etc.)

What would be each board's power, and how would the new superheroes come to interact in this new world?

There was an awesome thread here on Saturday about Stranger Things, the new Netflix weird retro-80s horror show, but I missed most of it and I can't find it in 4plebs.

So...Stranger Things. Awesome SCP/Delta Green show, or bad 80s nostalgia?

Would you play as the Cop or the Kids? Would DG be better or Monsters & Other Childish Things?

Okay a few things:
Goose in the last thread you bought an Elite level pilot skill for 25 Cred, that should have been 30 cred. Subsidized training gives you the first skill for free and makes respecing cheaper. It does not reduce the cost of climbing to veteran and elite rank.

Hotfix:
-Chemical rounds now reduce a target's damage reduction by 2 instead of cancelling it outright.

Also I have been thinking about lessening the penalty on respawning players a bit. Pilot death is meant to be rough, but I think losing your entire cred pool to the company's 5:1 transfer is a bit much. So here's what I've decided to do:

If you die, you get your final payout added to your cred reserve and that gets divided by two.

If a re-spawning player can prove that they are an inheritor through trips, IRC etc... then they can claim this sum of cred.

Your inventory still gets transferred to the company, but if the commander is nice which he is he'll probably give it back to you.

So having said all that:
Hetros: +17 Cred
Ithaqua: +26 Cred

Consider it life insurance.

Finally I would appreciate it if someone could draw up a list of which pilots are assigned to which mission.

It has come to my attention that some such forces, negligent wizards or otherwise have torn a rift through the sky into a plane I'm told is called the 'BetaMax Dimension' now this would be terrible as I'm told a plague of spandex, 'Em-Tee-Vee', rubber clothing, bubble parties, and the overabundance of the element 'pink' will soon pour through the portal plaguing our college and the world around it in a never ending nightmare that is 'Ah-Ha'. However, it would seem the cause of this eruption was a very large rainbow that poured out of a 'Snowcano' a volcano that seems to erupt a never ending blizzard of cocaine, and I'll be entirely too busy studying it to be of any help with this impending invasion.

Oh yes, and the rainbow seems to lead to the 'BetaMax Dimension" in the sky, that might be important... Well, goodbye now.

Through out the night the fires of Ascalon burned, a hard red glow on the horizon. Flames licked up behind the towering walls of the sea-side fortress, and the anguished cries of the defenders rang out. Men and women screamed, children wailed, and there was the distinct crack and collapse of homes taken by the fire, bowing inward as their supports were eaten away.

The Christian camp sat a watch upon the inferno, launched as it was from the great arms of their war machines. They chanted holy verse loud as they could, or blew horns and beat drums, they made a racket of holy noise to keep the Saracen awake and frightened. Those Christians who did not join this noisome watch, this celebratory vigil on the fires of the alien city, slept the night away.

On watch on the western edge of the camp were men of Tripoli, old campaigners of Northern Jerusalem. One yawned into his hand, eyes gummy, waiting for his shift to end so he might curl up in his tent with his plump seamstress. His neighbour hung almost half asleep on his spear, a younger man confident of their security at this distant perimeter.

Such youthful arrogance could lead to danger for all...

I had a PC once who asked if Rangers came with horses. Same PC later fucked an elf milf after P A I N F U L half-assed roleplaying. Then when the elf refused to join the party, he killed her, and left the body. The guards chased him out of the city and I had to spend an hour explaining to him that murder is a crime.

A - It's a CYOA, there are no established mechanics for the rescue. All the pages to the game are in the imgur album linked in resources.

Q - Why aren't/are we we working on; Fan Gen II/Knights/combat mechanics/etc.
A - No. We recognize that spreading out our efforts is what originally killed the project. Accordingly, we're focusing on just one thing at a time and finishing them out.

Q - Hey, can we make a pricness about X fetish?
A - It generally comes down to what people like. Propose the idea and see if others want it.

Q - Is there a map/unified setting?
A - Nope. Though proposals have been made, nothing concrete has been created.

Q - Can I post fanart/fanfiction here?
A - Go right on ahead, just make sure it's within the global rules.
