We currently have two Shared Worlds for roleplay. One is the mundane Common World, where you start in 2000BC along with many other immortals. The other is brand-new Aloadan, a fantasy world. >>48546720

You may also play in your own private world or start a new Shared World. Please specify which in your build.

Some of these builds may form the basis of Companions in a future edition of Altering History, so specify a name if you wish to, or specify that you do not wish your build to be a Companion.

=ARMS SECURITY PATCH Cycle 2.5=
" Following the investigations involving the arms fire it is suspected that security leaks within RG own ranks are suspect, on a further note, the Junior curriculum has motioned that weapon kits be heavily regulated to build a proper foundation for future combat models "

> For this reason, Weapons and equipment bought from the store cannot be equipped by units outside of their class. They will instead be formatted as Kits and Kit variants. Those who have bought such equipment may retain them for the benefit of owning them, despite the fact that they can't be used outside of their class. They may also refund equipment that they bought and used for half price, and unused equipment kits for full. Keeping bought equipment will allow you to use them as a variant kit for your own class. For example, a Gunner that buys the UF-M2 and UF-M3 now has the Assault and Bruiser Kit and can deploy [Freely] as such even if mission logistics doesnt offer it. Similarly, they still get to keep the KIT skill that comes with owning them. This no longer becomes the case if they are refunded.

What does this mean ?
Gunners are given gunner equipment and can only use gunner specific kits and equipment as well as items that MUST specify that [ALL] or qualifying units can use them.

Developer's notes.
For the sake of simplicity I have decided to roll back on allowing weapons to freely switch between party members. [More 1/2]

Hear ye, hear ye. I hereby call to order this meeting of the most illustrious Mages Guild! There apparently was a small incident in the cafeteria last night, another argument about who has the best staff that got out of hand. It had all started innocently enough about the advantages of certain types of wood in staffs, but eventually resulted in the loss of a dozen redrobes as you all tried to demonstrate the merit of your own staff by throwing spells all over the place. While this might have been entertaining at first this has got to stop, and as such I'm having you all settle this matter right here in the grand hall where there is less chance of collateral damage, and where all can witness the result of your arguments once you've come to an agreement.

I...didn't think I'd ever get this far with Iris, it all feels like a dream. Like I'm going to wake up, and find out the last few days of love were nothing but another fantasy of mine.

I watch the fan spin around on the plain white ceiling, as I lay on the couch with Iris ontop of me using me like a big lovable pillow...well my chest at least, can't really blame her cause I'd do the same to her if she had as much up there as I did.

It all just feels a little...weird, like something in my gut wants to rebel against it all and make me sick. I wrap my arms and wings around my sleeping master, as she grumbles something in her sleep, and pulls on my shoulders with her recently grown hands. She's just so adorable when she's asleep like this, so vulnerable and helpless and...I bite my lip as I pull my hands down her shirt.

"Ehehehe" I chuckle as I lessen my grip and cuddle around her sleeping form, sniffing her hair to try and set off my appetite so I don't go wild...she smells like dust and blood, it isn't a bad smell, it's unique...its hers.

I close my eyes, as the light of the setting sun slowly begins to drip and flow away from Iris and me, leaving us in a grey kind of darkness all wrapped around eachother in a loving cuddle. She nuzzles closer to me, my heart skipping a beat as I hug her a little tighter, and take another deep whiff of her scent.

The last few days have been like a dream, or the nights at least, when she's awake and alive and I can have fun with her...innocent fun, Like picnics under the stars or reading some book together, playing with her hair, making dresses for her to try on. Cooking, singing for her...so many fun things to do.

But when the sun is up, and she's asleep or half way to it, and I'm alone with the man eater and the broken pony,

Well everyone, It seems the Herald, alongside the some of fleet is still kicking up in orbit. But it seems the navy's taken heavy losses since we landed (for once). Not really, we've had Xeno infiltrators, Chaos infiltrators, Villains, Heroes, Normal Guardsmen, Crazed Guardsmen, Assassins, Psykers, Space Marines, Inquisitors, Squats... just think whathever and join the fun.

Yes as long as you don't use it to powerplay.

We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, but nothing is set in stone.
We tend to use greentexts for describing a character's actions, but again nothing is set in stone.
Use d20s for combat checks and d100s for other things you want to roll, higher Is better.
It's important to know that the regiment is now in the employ of a radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, with influence from an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor and under the watch of an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor. Yes we've been through a lot of shit.

What would be the western equivalent of Chi or whatever the eqivolent would be? While lacking in the mysticism of eastern philosophy I'm trying to come up with cultural interpretation of essentially building up and using internal energy (as the setting has a unified energy source, the same power wizards draw on to cast spells is the same power warriors use to do superhuman abilities)
