Can someone tell me if the spells of "Book of Lost Spells" are balanced? What about the 5e Edition Feats book?

The adventures you and your friends have had over the years were, in retrospect, insane. As kids, you stopped a dictator from wishing for world conquest, destroyed the strongest criminal army in the world, and even stopped a demon king.

Most people don't have so many such experiences in their entire lives, yet you're only nineteen, and you've done so much.

Every time. And every time the excuses are the same. It's either "But <I/my players> don't want to learn something new!" or the shit GM who makes combat the best solution and is then surprised when everyone takes it.

Pathfinder domain rules, what is wrong with them? I have not heard much about them either way

Our That Guy was a human piece of shit. He was awful to game with, but even worse in all other aspects.

The worst of it was the one time I went to hang out at his house. The only tv was in his tiny room, so we go in. Holy. Fuck. The dirty clothes and trash were piled up so high that they were level with the bed. Because of this, the AC vents were completely covered and the room was ungodly hot and humid. Then, to top it all off, it was at this point that I discovered the depths of his laziness. Turns out that instead of getting up and walking the length of the hallway to go to the bathroom, he would just piss in the corner of his room whenever he needed to go.

I'm really happy with my last 2 local GWs.

First one was in England, manager was based as fuck, gave plenty of help, conversion ideas, tutorials, did tournaments, didn't push sales. It was really great. He did leave/got fired, halfway through my stay, I'm guessing he might have criticised the HQ too much.
Store was still pretty good after his departure though. Not as good, but still really enjoyable.

2nd one is the one I going to now, having moved to the south of France. Plenty of nice people, pretty much every regular is cool, even the younger ones. It's smaller than the last one, and there's no 30k players, but it is still a very enjoyable place.

Overall I'm really satisfied. I tend to thi k that most of thr horror stories are either exagerated most of the time or straight up false, especially since I've seen more than one called out by someone who was also a regular from the same shop or stuff like that.

So from what I've heard:

-Armor is treated as a separate health state before Physical/Stun
-No Initiative, players take turns discussing narrative (with Wired Reflexes giving you extra attacks & Plot points)
-Plot Points that can be used to alter narrative with changing turn order, call guards, make a piece of gear or a spirit glitch out, counterattack without spending your turn, healing, and more.
-Most rolls are single competitive d6 dice pool rolls

its essentially Shadowrun for people that don't enjoy the clunkyness of the Shadowrun systems and just wanna play games out in the 6th world.
